We are saddened to receive a 1 star review. The guest did not notify us of any issues in the cabin although we were on-site. We work hard to ensure that the cabins are well-maintained. We have never had any complaints regarding the sound of the AC or the shower drain. The cooktop is a standard electric cooktop. We encourage guests to communicate with us so that we have the opportunity to address any concerns.

Peaceful location in fall for adults when school is in session and pool is closed. Handy county boat launch for our kayaks and coves to fish.

Advertising led to believe easy access to water. Not easy. Long drive to activities. Cabin was clean.

Excellent Getaway Cabin

We stayed here for 4 days and loved it. Wish it was longer. It is very secluded and very peaceful. I was able to walk down the hill and fish everyday where I caught lots of largemouth bass and a 10lb hybrid bass. Be sure to bring your hiking boots. It is about 30 minutes from town so make sure you have everything you need. But once you are there you won’t want to leave. The playground is great for kids. There is a boat ramp about a quarter mile away where you can also bank fish if you don’t have a boat. Be sure to stay in cabins 5 or 6. They have the best views and are closest to the water. We also got to see about 6 deer feeding in the mornings. Chuck and Angie are great and helped us every time we needed something with a smile on their face. We can’t wait to make it back.

Great family vacay

My son loved the pool, playground and hiking down to the water. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch, sitting by the fire and making s'mores at night. Great host family.
