Hi, I’m Emma!

My husband Jon and I bought this little island home in 2018. Jon is American, I’m Mexican, and we’ve been living in Panama for almost 10 years—spending the last few on the island.

This was our first home, and over time we’ve turned it into a simple, cozy, and romantic space that we love sharing with others. It’s not a luxury villa, but it’s full of character and intention.

We chose Taboga because it offers a slower, more peaceful way of life while still being close to Panama City. It’s just a short ferry ride away, but it feels like a completely different world.

What we love most is how simple everything is here—you can walk everywhere, spend time by the ocean, and enjoy quiet mornings and sunsets without the rush of the city.

It’s not a busy or commercial place, and that’s exactly why we chose it. It allows you to truly disconnect and enjoy the island at your own pace.

What makes our place unique is the feeling it creates. It’s a simple island home, not a luxury villa, but it’s been thoughtfully put together to be cozy, comfortable, and peaceful.

We’ve focused on creating a space where you can slow down—whether that’s enjoying your morning coffee with a view, resting after the beach, or just having a quiet, romantic stay.

It also offers a nice balance of privacy and convenience. You’re close enough to walk around the island, but still tucked away enough to feel relaxed and disconnected.

More than anything, it’s a home we’ve personally cared for and continue to improve over time, and we hope guests can feel that when they stay here.
