Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re so happy to hear that you and your family loved your stay on Moorea and found the house comfortable and perfectly located. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you all back again for another unforgettable stay !

Hi Jamila, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciated our team's warm welcome, the well-equipped kitchen, and the outdoor spaces. Fare Makana is a traditional Balinese-style wooden house designed for open-air tropical living. As clearly stated in our listing, all bedrooms are air-conditioned, while the living room and kitchen benefit from natural ventilation. These features are an integral part of the property's architecture and are reflected in the description and photographs. During your stay, Moorea experienced particularly windy and stormy weather, which may have affected your comfort. We offered mosquito repellent and plug-in devices to help. Regarding the hot water, we were only informed of the issue on your departure day. Your other concerns were also brought to our attention only after your departure, which unfortunately did not give us the opportunity to address them during your stay. We are proud of our 9.2/10 rating on Abritel and the consistently positive feedback from guests who appreciate the house's unique character and proximity to the beach. Although our policy does not normally provide refunds for early departures, the owner exceptionally agreed to refund one night's stay as a gesture of goodwill. Our position regarding the refund remains unchanged. We take guest feedback seriously and regret that Fare Makana was not the right fit for your expectations. We wish you all the best in your future travels. Kind regards Tahiti Homes Team

Dear guests, Thank you for your review. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we are using it to improve the property and our services. We’re glad the property was in good condition on arrival, but we’re sorry for the issues you encountered. The property is designed with a Balinese open-air ceiling concept to promote natural ventilation, which is common in this residence as you saw. We understand that insects or rodents can occasionally appear in this type of environment, even though we do our best to prevent it. Regarding the mice, this is certainly not the standard we strive for. As soon as we were informed just like with the broken lock we took immediate measures to resolve the problems within the next hours even thought it was a public holiday date. We truly appreciate your kind words about our responsiveness and hosting, and we’re happy to hear that part of your experience was positive. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to offer you a much smoother experience in the future. Best regards Tahiti Homes Team
