Marcian paikka keskellä iloa!

Marcia's Place on kahden makuuhuoneen kylpyhuoneen huoneisto 9. kadulla ja St. Louis Ave. Downin kaupungissa Ocean City. Se on ensimmäisessä kerroksessa oleva yksikkö, joten rantatuoleja ei ole ylös ja alas portaita! Siinä on täydellinen keittiö, jossa on astianpesukone ja uuni sekä pesukone ja kuivausrumpu! Kerrossängyt yhdessä huoneessa, queen-size-vuode toisessa, ja ulosvedettävä sohva olohuoneessa voi mukavasti nukkua 6 aikuista. Kävelymatkan päässä Boardwalk, ratsastaa, ravintoloita ja 4 kalastus laiturit! On myös pihapiiri, jossa vieraat ovat tervetulleita rentoutumaan.

What a pleasant surprise, one of the best rentals we have found in a while. The place is in a great part of town, very close to the boardwalk, bay, and beach! The beach had excellent waves! We would stay again, thank you for the quick communication and the place to stay!

Nice little place

This was a nice little place for me and my family to stay for our beach vacation. Perfect walking distance from the beach and boardwalk as well as the park and fishing pier. It could use some upgrades but there wasn’t anything that hindered our stay. We loved that they provided some beach supplies so we didn’t have to bring as much from home. It was a cozy place with good amenities.

Cute place in great location

We had a great stay in OC here. Host was super communicative and able to answer all our questions. House was fully stocked and we had pretty much everything we needed for a short getaway. The house was also very clean. My son also enjoyed the community’s front lawn area. We will definitely stay again.

Family friendly

The condo was clean and accurately described in the listing. There is s small yard for the kids to play, which was nice. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The owner is quick to respond to texts and very nice.

Awesome stay!!!

Location is excellent...within walking distance of the boardwalk, but in a quiet neighborhood. A short drive to other fun activities as well. Well kept and clean with extras for the beach. We will definitely be back!!!

Beach cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Gail’s cute beach cottage. Great location close to the beach and boardwalk! The place was clean and cozy and we felt we had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Gail was available for any questions or recommendations we inquired about. I’d stay here again if we return to Ocean City!

Very nice place and close to the beach

The overall space was nice and for us it wasnt to large to have a hard time cleaning up daily from the beach which is helpful when you have kids running around. The walk to the beach took about 8minutes. Overall we had a great time and hopefully we can book it again in the future. Thank you

Vaca 2019

We had a really nice stay, convenient walk to the beach/ board walk. Place was clean, although a little small. Unfortunately we had no parking as it's on the street parking. So no parking space was guaranteed. Owner of property was a pleasure to speak with. Thank you again :)

Great location with a short walk to everything

This 2 bedroom condo is on a relatively quiet corner of 9th street near a public bayside dock. Its a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and the beach. There is no designated parking spot though, so, once you find a good one on the street be prepared to just leave your car and walk everywhere near by. That being said, we took plenty of drives to do other touristy stuff like mini golf, waters parks and go-carts and never had a problem finding a spot reasonably close to the condo. Everything was as described, reasonably good sized bedrooms that was spacious enough for our family of five.

nice property

Property was nice, clean, spacious ,well supplied .We would have liked to be a little closer to beach with an infant.. The only thing was that the humidity in the rental was very high. Our clothes,towels bathing suits were moist in the suitcase. Washing bathing suits and they didn't dry after 2 days. We did have a great time in OC !Thank You .

My experience

Many good things about this vacation rental others have already mentioned, but there are things I wish I had known before booking. Maybe I can help others by stating my experience. An important thing the apartment owner told me AFTER I mentioned a bad smell, is that the apartment directly next to this one in the building has a bad mold problem. (I can provide the messages and discussion I had with the owner.) The unit wasn't clean when we arrived, and while the owner did offer to refund a portion of money if we cleaned it ourselves, I instead asked to have someone come in and clean it. I don't know anyone who would want to start their vacation by cleaning up someone else's dirty towels, toilet, etc. I would also have liked to know before booking that the pool at the motel behind the bedrooms has two large sets of flood lights on all night, pointed almost directly at this apartment building. Since the bedrooms in this apartment don't have any curtains (they have blinds and valances), the light streams through all the cracks and crevices between the blinds, no matter how tightly you close them. We eventually put a sheet up to block the light, so we could sleep a little better. (I have photos of our check in and video of our check out.) My husband and I didn't sleep well here, and I had a headache each time I woke up in the main bedroom, where I could smell mold. (There is another bedroom, but it has bunk beds, where an adult could easily hit their head getting up in the middle of the night.) At first I thought that maybe I was just smelling the outside air, or the nextdoor pool area, especially since my husband said he didn't notice a smell... but once he starting feeling sick (not his usual chronic pain), that's when I asked the owner about the smell, and she told she was aware for a while of the mold in the adjacent unit. My husband did NOT have Covid, because he was tested in the ER the night after we got home, then spent 5 days in the hospital with pneumonia. I'm not saying the mold in the adjacent unit caused his pulmonary issues, but it couldn't have helped (the hospital doctors agreed). When an apartment in a building has mold in its walls and crawlspace, the mold spores can migrate to adjacent units. I asked the owner if she would alert others, and she said if they complained she would address their complaints... so I guess that means she won't tell people BEFORE booking that there is a bad mold issue in the adjacent unit.

Great place for a great stay

It was a great stay with cozy beds and a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk and a quick walk to the dock to enjoy some fishing or crabbing.
