Our home is a period property built in 1860 . It stands on four acres of tropical gardens, with walked in garden, and is located on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. We are three miles from the small village of Glenbeigh, with its excellent restaurants and fine shops, adjacent the sandy beach of Rossbeigh, and overlooking Caragh Lake. We will list the restaurants later in this profile.
Our rate includes all linens, towels, utilities and is for eight people.(4 bedrooms ) . We have additional bedrooms available at a supplement of €150 per person per night should there be more than eight in your party. This supplement can be paid on arrival ..
The house is approached through Victorian gates and a long gravel avenue flanked on both sides by ancient trees and plants.
The ground floor consists on the right of the hallway a large combined living and formal dining room that overlooks the southerly lawn. Access to the lawn is through a small conservatory. Across the hall the family / breakfast and kitchen are located.
There is one full bath and two bedrooms on this level, one of the bedrooms opens out to the front lawn.
Upstairs three king size bedrooms look out over the front lawn and lake, with a fourth looking into the rear courtyard.
There are two further bathrooms on this level.
The house is of light decorative flavor maintaining the original character and feeling of its Victorian age.
