An impressive built cottage nestled on an elevated large site just off the Ring of Kerry road with a feeling of space yet very welcoming in the unspoilt countryside of Glenbeigh. Glenview is tastefully decorated, located in a peaceful and tranquil setting boasting stunning views of the surrounding mountains and rivers.
Firstly, it is a perfect base to tour the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Pennisula,visit Skelig Island and see Killarney National Park or any of the multitudes of sights in south west Ireland.
Alternatively you may like to spend the day relaxing. Glenview has 4 bedrooms,one master large double ensuite, one double ensuite, one twin and double. There is a separate bathroom.Other accommodation includes a fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons including a large plasma TV,utility room, separate dining room and a spacious living room with an open fire,large plasma TV, DVD and cable in all tvs. There is a brick patio area where you may sit and relax after your day touring

Absolutely wonderful! Marcella was incredibly responsive and so kind to us. Beds were comfy, the place is very spacious and set in a rural area. Glenbeigh and Killorglin are close by for groceries (Aldo’s and SuperValu). Emilie’s in Glenbeigh has marvelous sourdough pizza plus a variety of breads such as Guinness brown butter bread (divine)! We did a bunch of day trips all over Kerry, Dingle, Killarney, etc. It was so nice to retreat to this very quiet and comfortable home at the end of each day. Marcella made check out a breeze which was greatly appreciated given a very early departure. I would highly recommend!

Marcella’s house has truly become a second home for us, and we are always delighted to return with great joy.The house itself leaves nothing to be desired: very spacious, with plenty of room to retreat should the weather not cooperate. It is extremely well equipped (with more than enough dishes, cutlery, glasses, and so on) and spotlessly clean. From our perspective, it enjoys an almost perfect location—right on the Ring of Kerry, yet wonderfully peaceful.The surrounding area is simply breathtaking, with the very best of Ireland right at your doorstep. Whether it’s some of the most beautiful beaches (Rossbeigh, Derrynane, Banna, Inch…), the highest mountains, stunning hiking trails, enchanting manor houses (Muckross, Bantry, Derrynane…), or just the charming towns and villages (Dingle, Killarney, Cobh, Cork…), everything is within easy reach.And a final word about the hostess:Marcella is truly a wonderful host—always ready to help whenever needed, yet never in the least intrusive. She is a delightful and witty conversationalist who takes time for her guests, while at the same time giving one the warm and reassuring feeling that, for the moment, the house is entirely one’s own.

Great place for our family holiday

Marcella, was great to work with! Very good at communicating and responding to messages. She worked with on our late arrival. The four bedrooms and three baths was perfect for our family. Lovely and we'll fix kitchen, dining room, snug with a fire stove we used several nights. Great fenced yard for kids to run and play in.The location was good for us. 10-15 walk to the Red Fox pub. In farm country, quite, and beautiful views.Not far from the beach the Killarney National Park, and several other attractions. I would highly recommended the house and location if you want a restful holiday!

Beautiful home, set in a peaceful and scenic location. About 8km from a town with good grocery and food stores. The house is set in a large garden on a quiet country road and has all of the facilities that most families would require. Would definitely recommend it as a good family home to holiday from. Marcella was extremely helpful in getting us additional cots etc to cope with 2 babies.Beautiful small village, forest and sea walks near by (5km), and don't forget to visit the Fairy Village :-)

Location Location Location

Wonderful location. Love the area and the house was a beautiful base for our holiday. The owners were very friendly and helpful throughout the duration of our stay resolving any issues quickly. Highly recommend and we will happily return in the future.

Family Reunion

The house was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Hoist was exceptional. Greeted us on arrival, showing us how all the functions of the house worked before leaving. Gave excellent advise and directions for local amenities and sights.Will definitely be staying again. Many thanks for a wonderfull and very pleasant break.

Fabulous house! Pictures don't do it justice

Marcella is a Fabulous host and obviously very experienced in attending to guest needs and being their wide ranging expectations. The house is very well equipped with all the amenities you may need. There is storage storage in a large metal shed to the rear which we made good use of. Glenbeigh is a sleepy little town but very pretty and has everything you need to either start (coffee shops) or finish (bars) your day! Geographically well positioned for both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula. I can see why there are so many repeat guests! Hope to be one of those some day!

Wonderful stay!

This home was so nice and clean. It was the perfect place for a group to enjoy County Kerry. Lots of room with a great kitchen to prepare food if you wanted to stay in. Comfortable beds and the 3 bathrooms made it easy to get ready in the morning. Our host Marcella was very nice and explained everything for us. She gave us some good ideas of what to do in the area. We were very happy with it and hope to come back!
