Very nice, clean and spacious apartment. Parking available for those arriving in a vehicle was great. Nicole is superb and very accommodating to arrival schedule and responsive to questions. Everything was well maintained and balcony is terrific. Quiet area; easy walk to old town and across bridges.

4.5 rating. The apt was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Quiet street in a good location near public transportation. We appreciated that we were able to drop our suitcases off early. Only criticism- the toilet is in the kitchen area

Excellent apartment in a very good location

Our host, Nicole, was very responsive to our correspondence prior to our stay. She welcomed us to drop our luggage at the apartment as we arrived in Lyon early. The apartment was perfect for four adults, was very clean and had good quality linen and furnishings. Good wi-fi connection enabled us to enhance our visit to Lyon. I would stay in this apartment again. Thank you Nicole for the wine and biscuits you provided us with - that was a lovely personal touch.

A little gem.

Close to all the basics you might need. The best equipped apartment we have ever had the pleasure of renting. Had many nice touches. Appliances all up to date and worked. Tons of pots & pans, baking dishes, plus basic dishes, glasses, cups and kitchen tools. We stayed 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't miss Mimi's Patisserie around the corner on Garibaldi. Fantastic. Lots of shops and cafes nearby. The Metro is only 2 1/2 blocks away and takes you to or connects with other transport to most of the sites The apartment might be a bit small for 4 adults with the equivalent of 1 bathroom and a small sitting area. For 2 it was homey and convenient.

Cozy home base in ideal location!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay in this apartment in the 6th. It is very well equipped with everything we could need for a short stay. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and modern. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. There are two outdoor terraces which we did not use due to the cold but I imagine would be very nice in warmer months. The building is very quiet and we appreciated the elevator after exploring the city all day. The location is ideal, with shops around the corner for all our meal prep needs, the park D’Or close by, playground and metro all within a few blocks. Nicole and Bernard were prompt in responding to inquiries and accommodating when we had to shift our arrangements. We would eagerly return and stay here again. Merci Nicole et Bernard!

Beautiful apartment, great location, highly recommend!

We are a family of 4 (kids 10 & 12) who stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful apartment! The location is fantastic for exploring Lyon on foot and steps from the metro line. Bernard provided maps of the transit system and info on things to see/do. The kitchen provides everything you need for making meals. Bathroom is well appointed and we didn't find issue with the WC's proximity to the kitchen as others have found. Nice to have a small balcony to enjoy a morning coffee on :) The apartment itself is quiet!! We slept with the windows open at night with no noise issues. I can imagine in July/August it being quite hot inside. No AC but fans provided. The parking spot is a bonus as was the nice bottle of Cote-du-Rhone! We wished we had booked to stay longer and look forward to returning during future trips!!

Un bel été à Lyon.

Un très bon accueil de la part de notre hôte. L'appartement est très propre, très bien équipé, et décoré avec goût. La literie est confortable. Cozy apartment in a good location

My wife, her mother, and I were traveling France from the USA and spent a couple of days in Lyon. Instead of getting a hotel, we opted for a VRBO and we’re delighted with the result. Nicole and Bernard were great hosts and easy to communicate with through the online messaging system. Though our French wasn’t perfect, we were able to understand the rules of the apartment and ask questions. The size of the apartment was great for 3 (my wife and I in the Main bedroom and mother-in-law in the Guest), though we could have had 4 as the guest room had a second bed. The apartment was secure with a FOB entry (provided upon check in) so late night excursions were no problem to enter the building. The apartment is located near a Metro stop and has good commerce nearby, so we had no issue’s traveling or finding a place to eat. Overall, if we visit Lyon again, we would no hesitate to stay at Nicole and Bernard’s apartment, if given the opportunity.

EXCELLENT SÉJOUR

Notre séjour de 4 jours en compagnie d'un couple d'amis, fut merveilleux. Monsieur nous a reçus agréablement, avec toutes les informations possibles. L'appartement est d'une propreté remarquable et rien ne manque pour que les hôtes séjournent agréablement (peut-être un miroir) Une très bonne bouteille de vin, des petits gâteaux et des papillotes nous attendaient. Nous gardons précieusement cette location et reviendrons avec grand plaisir

The property was excellent. Nicole and Bernard were excellent hosts. Quiet building with elevator. The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped. Easy walk to anything you need: metro, patisserie and restaurants. We highly recommend.

Lovely Apartment

The apartment had everything we needed and is very comfortable for four people. The subway is just around the block and there are plenty of bakeries and grocery stores near by. Also the zoo and botanical gardens are with walking distance. I highly recommend this property.

Appartement parfait dans un quartier idéal pour les besoins de notre séjour.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande souplesse des propriétaires concernant les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Le logement est clair, confortable, à la décoration soignée. Une petite bibliothèque intéressante mérite d'être mentionnée. Seul bémol : l'étroitesse de l'ascenseur difficilement utilisable avec une poussette mais personne n'y peut rien !
