From July 12, 2021 CasaGrande WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE leaves one day free between bookings, thus offering its guests 3 great advantages:
1 - Early check-in, from 9 am: the best thing after a long overnight flight (US travellers)
2 - Possibility to leave your luggage even after check-out
3 - Right sanitation of all rooms, given the time available

Please read also the last part of the description, about air conditioning without air conditioning. CasaGrande is a large and spacious apartment of 180 square meters, on two levels, on the main floor of an ancient Baroque palace in the heart of Rome. CasaGrande has large living rooms and lounges, in rooms with wooden coffered ceilings more than six meters high.
Original paintings and lithographs by renowned contemporary artists decorate the walls, as do large wall tapestries, souvenirs of the owners' travels to the Middle East.
There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The bathrooms are simple and basic, but complete with everything. A shower stall is 70x70 cm. It is possible to accommodate normally up to 8 people, 10 with extrabed.
CasaGrande is the right place to stay in Rome for short or long periods, ideal for business stays, even for groups of people. CasaGrande is aimed at those who want to visit Rome without losing time in long journeys. You will be exactly in its center.
CasaGrande is equipped with central heating. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms!

The location was absolutely perfect - just a two or three minute walk from the Piazza Navona (10 minutes to the Pantheon, 25 minutes to the Vatican), with several restaurants, wine bars, and gelato shops within a quick walk. If you’re looking for easy access to central Rome, with a quick jaunt over to the Vatican and/or Trastevere, look no further.Mary and Francesca were extremely hospitable and responsive, and their thoughtful recommendations on restaurants and the like were insightful and helped us avoid the usual tourist traps. The place itself was a beautiful space with four bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), two large common areas, a great kitchen/dining room, and taken together provided a perfect accommodation for our family of ten (seven adults and three kids). The historical and charming qualities of the building were icing on the cake. We absolutely loved it and will definitely try to book again on our next trip to Rome!

It is hard to describe just how amazing this property is. The location simply couldn’t be better and the the home itself is exceptional, as was the support and kindness of the host family (property managers). Best Place in Rome to stay

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The location is right next to Piazza Navona with plenty of fantastic places to eat and sites to see. There is a taxi stand right at the end of the street which is very convenient. I highly recommend staying here...you won't be disappointed.

A visit to Rome before my daughters wedding in Tuscany

The place was perfect! We had nine people. My husband and myself, my son and his family, his in laws and my ex husband! We visited Rome before heading to Tuscany for my daughter’s wedding. What makes this property unique

Casa Grande is a special house. The baroque palace where it is located was built in 1670, together with the S. Agnese church in Agone which overlooks Piazza Navona. The wide spaces, with wooden coffered ceilings taller than 6 metre, the partition on two floors of some of its environments, the fully equipped kitchen separated from the dining room with a large sliding glass door, and many other details, give this house a soul, with its own personality. Thanks to its thick walls, some even one metre thick, it is able to maintain the ideal temperature and therefore it is warm in winter and cool in summer without the need of air-conditioning. Four bedrooms each one with its own bathroom make it very cosy.
