In the heart of the Presqu'île, near the Terreaux district and La Martinière (Opera, City Hall, Old Lyon, etc.), very nice, completely renovated apartment in a listed building.
Close to all amenities and the Metro, ideally located in a hyper center and paradoxically extremely quiet, the apartment is located close to the banks of the Saône and its new banks.
Located on the 4th and last floor of the building with elevator, the apartment, crossing, consists of a bedroom with a Queen size bed 160 * 200, a living room with a fully equipped US kitchen (ceramic hob, microwave , fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer ...) and a corner sofa convertible into a 140 * 200 bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet.
Mobile air conditioning is available for hot summer weather
Completely renovated with quality materials, the accommodation combines functionality and design.

Great apartment in lovely part of Lyon. Kitchen and sitting room with comfortable sofa bed. Bedroom and bathroom also fine. Great to have air con as very hot in Lyon. Very close to the river and very nice bars and restaurants. Lyon is a lovely city - I wish I’d visited sooner!

Great location and communicative host

The stay here was lovely! Such a short walk to the Fresque des Lyonnais and also close to the fine arts museum.The apartment was nice and clean and, as an American, I greatly appreciated to portable aircon. :)Franck gave great directions for check-in and check-out. He was very easy to reach.

Lovely

Perfect small apartment for a stay with 2-3 people. Communication was great, the location is 30 min walk or less to nearly anything you’d hope to do in Vieux Lyon or the Presqu'île. Loved our stay and can’t wait to return to this beautiful city!

Loved this stay

The property was clean and in a fantastic neighborhood with everything walkable. Franck was the best host. He always responded promptly and very kindly. We loved our stay at this location and were sad to leave.

I had a great time here! Nice spacious apartment. It even had a window air conditioner unit which helped in the 37C heat.The only thing I’ll say is that the apartment isn’t fully accessible by elevator. The elevator takes you mostly there but then you still need to go up 5-6 steps. So I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is very elderly or disabled.But for my girlfriend and I who are young and fit, there were no issues.Great apartment! Great host!

Great place for touring Lyon

Nice large apartment with all the amenities a couple needs for a visit to Lyon. We spent 10 days, enjoying the Festival of Lights and visiting museums and other cultural sites in Lyon. The apartment is within walking distance for many things, and very convenient to buses for excursions throughout the city. A taxi from Lyon Part-Dieu was 20 Euros. There are good restaurants nearby, and markets for other needs.

Excellent stay and smooth process

Really enjoyed this property, for the two of us. It accommodates 1 or 2 very well. I really appreciated the air conditioner, which was essential and makes this property unique. The check-in process was very easy and Franck responded quickly to all questions and to any assistance I needed from before the booking to during. I would definitely stay here again.

The building is in a dark cul-de-sac in a winding street and is in bad condition. There is graffiti paint on the walls outside. There were no linens for the couch in the sitting area and the T.V. did not work. The location is ok but not great. Too far from the centre where all the action is.

I usually not have the habit to comment the reviews but I am very surprised by yours. The building is absolutely not in a cul-de-sac but in a quiet street in the center of Lyon at 5 minutes walk from the city hall and the old city. When you say it is far from the attractions what attractions do you speak? How can we imagine that we rent an apartment without sheets and linens!? !!! The television works perfectly if you have not managed to turn it on why you did not contact us? I wonder if you have not mistaken your apartment in your comment and you have not confused with another apartment where you have stayed during your trip in Europe indeed I invite you to read the other comments that tell the contrary of yours.

I stayed 6 nights.Great location close to Place St PaulThere was a washer and dryer (single unit) which was the #1 reason I chose the apartment. Also the location.On 4th floor and you have to take your bags up a few steps to the apartment.The air conditioning is makeshift and you do need it in France in summer. There was a heat wave in Lyon with temperatures reaching 90F. It was a portable unit with a plastic extendable exhaust tube that snakes to the window. And you can only partially close the window.The A/C exhaust was broken when I came and could not be fixed till the next day. The towels were thin and really worn but they were clean. Only 2 small towels were given.There was no body wash provided. Even that took a day.The internet conked out after 3 days and was not fixed even by day 7 when I left. Credentials were provided to another connection point but signal was weak.On the whole somewhat overpriced for the experience.

Hello, thank you for your comment. The apartment has, as indicated in the ad, a mobile air conditioner for the summer heat. But unfortunately , This year in Lyon we had temperatures around 100 degrees Fahrenheit during your stay ! We always have quality linen in our apartments, we have never had any negative comments on this subject, I do not understand what happened and I am sorry. For the Internet outage, it was not our fault but a general outage in the neighborhood on this operator, but fortunately we were able to provide you with access codes on another operator so that you could connect.

Great apartment in the 1re

Stayed in this apartment for 3 months during the spring/summer of 2024. Fantastic location, quiet building, Franck was very helpful and responsive. I had everything I needed here. There was one downside that I hope does not eclipse the overall positiveness of my review. I don't consider this appartment to be feasible during the summer months. It is regularly in the 80's here in the summertime, and of course there is no AC (which is normal) but there are also no fans or screens on the windows. This apartment is on the top floor, and becomes as hot and stuffy as an attic during the summer. If you open the windows fpr any period of time you'll get eaten by mosquitos (although Lyon is not particularly buggy). So: September - May - 5 stars.

Excellent location, pleasant stay

We stayed here for a week in February and enjoyed it quite a bit. It is in an excellent location, within a few minutes of walk to everything. The bed was very comfortable, it had a great shower and a spacious bathroom sink. Bedroom had good storage. Heating was easy to adjust. We would definitely consider staying again. There were a few minor issues that were not a major problem for us but others could find problematic so I will mention them here: It is in a very old building, so there are a few minor maintenance issues: the circuit breaker gives a slight buzzing noise and a few plugs are not well secured in the wall. The toilet vent pulls in outside food and smoke smell, but its door keeps the smell out of the apartment. The apartment is 5-6 steps circular steps above the elevator landing, which could be intimidating for some. We (in our 50s) carried luggages and a ski bag with no problem, but I may be more worried if I was going to come in seriously drunk or with mobility challenges. I think it would be helpful for the owner to add a photo of those stairs to the listing. Finally, the kitchen sponge was worn out and there was no shampoo. We had our own shampoo, but other travelers may appreciate a small one for the first night, just like the coffee in the welcome packet which was appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Mauvaise expérience

Mon conjoint et mon bébé de 6 mois sommes arrivés avec un ascenseur hors service. Étant au 4e étage et avec une poussette, le propriétaire n’a pas fait de suivi auprès de la maintenance et n’a pas voulu nous dédommager. La connexion Wifi ne fonctionnait pas et aucune commodité n’est disponible pour rendre votre séjour agréable.

De quel suivi vous parlez ? nous avons eu une panne d’ascenseur, la société a été contacté le jour même et nous étions en attente de la réparation, vous ne m’avez par ailleurs formulé aucune demande de dédommagements ! est ce la votre problème ? De plus pouvez vous être plus précis ? de quelle commodité vous parlez ? Vous vous attendiez à quoi comme service annexe ? un guide touristique ? vous avez loué un appartement si vous souhaitiez un service hôtelier , chose que je peux comprendre , et bien il fallait aller … dans un hôtel

Die Lage ist ideal, die Wohnung ruhig und groß genug für vier Personen. Für das Schlafsofa hätte ich gerne einen Bezug gehabt, um das Laken nicht direkt auf die Sitzfläche legen zu müssen. Aber das Sofa ist sehr bequem, man schläft sehr gut. Nur zur Information: der Herd ist ein Induktionsherd mit zwei Platten. Die letzten Stufen der steinernen Wendeltreppe, die zur Wohnung führen, haben uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Gerne wieder.
