The elevators in the building are a disaster! You waste half your day trying to get up to your room or down. Very aged infrastructure. Apartments vary by owner. Some have no blankets only a flat sheet, luke warm shower water with very light water pressure and aged cutlery and plastic plates and glasses made of plastic.

Great Place, Great Location, Priced Accordingly

Had a great stay. The location was great. Safe area, secure building, friendly staff, and check-in was simple and easy. Stores, restaurants, and cash machine were within easy walking distance. Cabs were easy to catch to go to the city center. Ride was kinda long, but that was mostly due to traffic. Only negative I would say is that the pool did not get a lot of sun. It only had direct sun around early afternoon, and we were usually out and about during that time. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here. Great location, great value, and great view of the ocean!!

I live in my Miami but Cartagena is my second home, I have consistently travelled here since 2001, this is where I met my lovely wife 16 years ago, I highly recommend Cartagena as a tourist destination, there is a reason why they call it baby Brazil!

Spectacular beaches, palm trees, and the Cararibbien backdrop, exotic Caribbean food, nightlife, disco techs, salsa dancing and the cordial Latin culture.

Visit the historic preservation of the Old city and fortress, it is the number one tourist attraction in cultural value and a must see!
