Original Thatched Cottage with Modern Amenities

Sutton Cottage, an early 19th century Irish Thatched Cottage with a modern twist. Bask in deep history at the start of the Norman Way. Take a trip to the beach, a 15 minute walk or enjoy a sunset from private gardens overlooking Our Lady's Island. Rest at home and walk our 4 acre landscaped gardens with a fairy house, mini football pitch, Tennis Court and playground. You will feel well rested after a stay at Sutton Cottage.

The space

Sutton Cottage is a beautifully restored Thatched Cottage which retains much of its original Character while also incorporating modern features. A newly refurbished extension to rear with Courtyard and Private enclosed garden creates a bright and airy environment. Open Plan spacious Living and Dining leads on to Family Sun Room.

It has five bedrooms on two levels and facilitates two families holidaying together. Bedroom 3 is on Ground Floor, beside Bathroom with walk in Shower. Suitable for reduced mobility. Additional sofa beds on Gallery over looking second Sitting Room. Bedroom 1 and 2 on First Floor consisting of two double beds. WC and WHB on First Floor.

Enter Sutton Cottage through the Front Door, or side access enclosed garden. Off street car parking for two cars Rear access with extra car parking space.

My home town is in Dublin, Ireland. I moved to Wexford almost 40 years ago and love living in the sunny south east.

Why they chose this property

Sutton Cottage was the Family home of the Sutton Family for over 200 years. Unfortunately, the previous owner had no children to pass it down to. We first met Mr. Sutton when we came to view a small site he had for sale. He was very warm and welcoming to us.

What makes this property unique

We always loved the Cottage and in particular the Upstairs space. Access was from a trap door in the ceiling and a small wooden ladder was stored in the space.
