El mar está a 3 minutos a pie, y la calle es tranquila, cerca de las calles concurridas y Lungomare (la orilla del mar). Cefalù es, en opinión de todos los viajeros, un destino de ensueño porque encontramos todos los placeres, ya sea en pareja, en familia o entre amigos. Desde Cefalù visitamos toda Sicilia. ¡Las Islas Eolias están justo en frente!

Location is excellent, right near the center, beach & shopping. The apartment is spacious but a bit outdated, but location makes up for it. Parking is very close. We loved the balcony! The shower could be improved but it did the job. Our host was great, as well her neighbor, Marella who checked us in. There were beach towels & an umbrella to use at the beach (along with beach toys for the kids) which was very convenient.

Sabina was lovely. She showed us around and helped us park our car. The place was spacious, the kitchen had salt,oil, etc and there was bread and pizza on the counter for us. There were some beach toys for the kids. It had everything we needed

Lovely apartment

Absolutely perfect in every way. Would highly recommend. Bedrooms lovely as well with third bedroom being a single cosy, curtained alcove.

Fantastic apartment

The apartment was fantastic. Literally steps from many many restaurants, shops and most important gelato. Mirella that let us into the apartment and showed us around was wonderful. The little balcony was great to sit out on at night and people watch. Would definitely stay here again.

A gem in the heart of Cefalu

We had the best time at this apartment, it's in the best location in the heart of Cefalu with a beautiful backdrop, a great restaurant just up the way and a balcony overlooking everything. Everything was spacious and clean and we had great communication - really enjoyed our stay!

Favourite place we’ve stayed as a family.

During 8 weeks touring Italy as a family of 4 (2 children), this was our favourite accommodation by far. Very clean second story flat with more than enough room for us. The place has lots of character and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a lengthy stay. Lots of beach toys and furniture included. Minutes walk to the beach and great shops all within the historic centre. Great value. Great communication from the host as well.

Lovely Apartment

The apartment was very nice. At every moment I felt we were at home. Excellent location. Close to the beach and restaurants Fully equipped for all your cooking needs as well. Easy access and introduction to the property. Would return for sure.

The location is great and the price is reasonable. We had a difficult stay at this location as the power was out the whole time. It was very hot, dark, and we were unable to charge our phones. The most frustrating part was that it took a couple days for the owner to take our concerns seriously. She kept referencing the electrical box, which we told her we knew how to flip the switch back and forth but that it was the whole street that was out of power. At one point she said “I cross the fingers” when I told her that the power off was a city problem and we had no idea when it would come back on. She did eventually refund the nights to us, which we appreciated, although we still paid the cleaning fee and taxes. It was a very stressful situation, but hopefully it was a one off and future guests won’t have problems. It does seem like the power in general is very touchy, so I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is planning to work remotely. The house was not very clean, as the water kettle was extremely dirty (see attached). Overall we hope that this situation was not the norm and future guests have a better situation, but we did have to leave early and find alternative housing.

There was a general problem with electricity in the entire road so I announced since the first day that I was going to refund the entire stay, even if the electricity was restored in the early hours the day after. The group decided to sleep there for the first night instead of search for another structure, than I assume they were aware of warm temperatures inside and of the darkness (battery lamp and candies were nevertheless provided). I also proposed to welcome the group in our villa on the sea proposing to come with our car to collect luggages and the 4 of them. Due to the fact that the apartment was used, it was normal to charge the fees for the cleaning lady and laundry. I was really sorry to what occurred, totally independent of our willing and did the maximum refunding the entire stay.

Cefalù stay

I rented an apartment in Cefalù via Vrbo for 5 weeks. the host was very responsive to all my messages but she was not local. When I entered the apartment it smelled like mildew, the place had not been aired out. The kitchen was dirty, greasy on the hood of the ancient stove. I washed all the dishes and utensils because they smelled and the handles of the cabinets were sticky. It was advertised as a three bedroom apartment but the third -so-called- bedroom was nothing but a small storage space. The main bathroom was okay but water pressure is very low. The second bathroom off the main bedroom is so old, you can barely see yourself in the mirror. I killed two cockroaches in that bathroom and there were also ants in the balcony of the kitchen. The place has great potential but needs a very major remodeling job. The host was very responsive to all my messages, unfortunately she’s not local and had to rely on the cleaning lady -with an attitude- for issues that came up. I would not rent this place anymore.

After a complete cleaning up for the beginning of the season, the host came one week later than foreseen for she lost her passeport, than she stayed all days long with closed Windows but said it was smelling. Our cleaning lady leaves a few meters below in the road and was very brave to responsab the same day to fix several little problems or so-called problems (when you do not know how to use the remote control or the gaz-oven for exemple) in minutes.

Location location!

First, being unfamiliar with Cefalu we had no idea we couldn't get our car near the apt. Then a short walk to the parking garage was like 15 mins in the immense heat where we had to pay 50 euros for 3 days parking. I just feel that many things weren't clearly explained. Even about the parking.. very confusing. The internet was awful. Even with a plan included for access everywhere. My phones worked everywhere except in this apt. For us that's misinformation. We can't be the only ones who experienced this. But the owner did try her best to help .. she was very helpful, even with the few problems. only ines to exp need to be explained more clearly

Posizione della casa ottima, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Due bagni e due condizionatori fondamentali. Avrebbe bisogno di alcune migliorie. Lavatrice e lavastoviglie molto comode. Check-in purtroppo poco cortese ma per il resto è andato tutto benissimo.

Lovey stay in cefalu as always

We love cefalu and this property is located in an excellent location right in the heart of the old town. The property was comfortable. It’s a bit of a mix of old and new. The layout is a little unusual but it was workable and would stay again. There could do with a little more cupboard space in the kitchen as the owners items are kept in the apartment! It was overall a great stay could just do with being modernised a little bit didn’t effect the functionality of the property. Thank you to Sabrina who was very helpful and efficient also to Mary who showed us around and helped us find a free parking spot.

Very nice person, respectful and kind at each discussion we had. We act like sharing the apartment with all the effects for the beach, kitchen, beds, sothat a few cupboards are full, but there are enough cupboards left for the hosts. We try to improve the comfort every year, putting more modern furnitures and devices, sofas and chairs are the next change already planned. We would appreciate another stay of Elisa with her family.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé 3 jours à Cefalù dans cet appartement très bien situé en plein cœur de la vieille ville tout en étant au calme dans une rue peu passante. Sabina a été très disponible, et l’appartement était bien équipé (hormis four à gaz pas très pratique) et propre (hormis peut être quelques éléments de vaisselles et ustensiles de cuisine). Un très bon rapport qualité/prix ! Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Persone molto gentili, la comunicazione è stata molto gradevole. Il gruppo è arrivato in un periodo festivo, in piena estate e durante la festa del paese, si puo' dunque capire che alcune serate siano state un po' rumorose, anche se alcuni vicini hanno fatto delle osservazioni. Sarà un piacere accoglierlo di nuovo.

Parfait!

Nous voyagions en famille, cet appartement nous a convenu parfaitement: idéalement situé, très bien équipé, pièces spacieuses, beaucoup de charme, plaisir de vivre au coeur de la vieille ville, dans la vraie vie des habitants de Céfalu. Accueil très sympa de Merry, excellente communication avec Sabrina, la propriétaire. Notre seul voeu: y revenir un jour, en hiver. merci beaucoup à Sabrina et Merry!

Hélène et sa famille ont été des locataires vraiment charmants et soigneux, nous avons eu de belles échanges à distance, et Mary, en charge de l'intendance, qui les a rencontrés, en garde un excellent souvenir. L'appartement a été laissé propre et à l'heure convenue. Je les recommande vivement à tout propriétaire qui les accueillerait. Au plaisir de les recevoir à nouveau !
