Plan now for your Spring, Summer or Fall adventure at Camp Road Getaway. Kingdom Trails is at your doorstep via Swamp Donkey or Besaw. Just think -- wake up in the morning, hop on your bike and ride...no waiting. After a thrilling day on the trails -- plan to relax with a cold beverage on the deck overlooking the trout pond, and enjoy the view of Burke Mountain, cook on the grill, then gather around the fire pit.

The space
Camp Road Getaway is a great place for the outdoor enthusiast.... and when it is time to come indoors, you will find all the comforts of home. The spacious kitchen is open to the living room area with cathedral ceilings and plenty of windows to enjoy the view. A large deck off the kitchen with a picnic table and grills. The loft Master bedroom suite has a queen bed and a full bath. A second bedroom on the main floor features a queen bed. Additional full bath is conveniently located near the bedroom and living area. Lower level family room features cozy, radiant heated tile floors, and a queen-size futon.. Ground-level easy access to enter/exit via double doors. There is a TV on each of the three floors.

We are dog-friendly. (no more than two dogs allowed) Sorry, we do not allow cats.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home.

When you leave the house, we do ask that you confine your dog to the lower level family room and cover the couch and futon with blankets. We provide a gate for your convenience.

The location is perfect. The view from the deck is rather nice. One of the best feature is the short connecting trail from the property to Moose Haven trails. It is so peaceful, too. Almost zero light pollution. Great place to shred singletrack without the need to drive to a trailhead or simply relax in peace and quiet.

Nice stay at the Cozy Chalet

We had an great stay at the cozy chalet. Excellent access to East Haven and trails, beautiful views and comfortable house for our party of 4. Close to Burke(KT) and other points of interest. Great communication with host who was always prompt and clear. Perfect spot, looking forward to a return trip.

Cozy cabin in the Northeast Kingdom

Cute cabin way up in northern VT. Stayed here for a cold week in February with our three kids and had a great time skiing nearby Burke, snowshoeing on the local trails, and just generally getting snowed in. Winter up here is gorgeous. Owners David and Karen provided everything we needed, and their place is delightful.

The Perfect Spot for Totality

Great NewYear’s stay!

Perfect location! Beautiful property with view of the mountains. Trails right out back. Plenty of room for our family of four and two dogs. House had everything we needed for our stay. Great time had by all.

This rental was a great place to get away and just relax. Spacious and peaceful. Waking up to snowcapped mountains right from the upstairs bedroom was incredible. We will be trying to plan a trip in the warmer months to enjoy the entire property!

Very nice and well groomed. The kitchen area had much more supplies than other places I have stayed. Plenty of essential accessories in the kitchen and bedrooms.

Get away vacation

Magnificent setting next to hiking biking trails with a view of mountains and pond. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and two full bathrooms. My daughter and I had a wonderful time.

Ski Getaway!

We had a great time staying here for a ski weekend at Burke Mountain. Easy commute to the hill and exactly what we needed for the six of us. The living area was quite small but we made it work! Plenty of parking and very quick/easy communication with the hosts. Thanks!

Coffee with a Mountain View

The deck was the first thing we saw when we arrived, it overlooks a frog pond and has a direct view of Burke Mountain. It’s the perfect spot to have morning coffee or an afternoon cookout. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the location which is close to hiking, biking, the beautiful mountains of E. Burke and even Lake Willoughby. I highly recommend the Cozy Chalet and hope to return.

Beautiful view

If you want to ride Black Bear all day, this house is right next to Swamp Donkey. Great dog friendly house for a few couples. Well stocked and clean. A quick five minute drive to the rest of the Kingdom Trails and the village of East Burke. Beautiful deck overlooking a refreshing pond. A great escape from the heat of the Tri-State area.

Great place to stay

This was our 4th visit to East Burke and this has been our favorite property. The view from the kitchen /living room and upstairs loft is breathtaking. The house is secluded, yet less than 10 minute drive into town. We loved that we could hookup to trails to snowshoe on, right from the door. The house was well stocked with everything needed, very clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to enjoying the deck and fire pit when we come back later this year. All in all, we highly recommend this property!

This was our 3rd stay in their house and will book again fur next year. That should tell you something right away. The location to the trails, the serenity of the location and the house itself all make fur a wonderful vacation. Karen and Dave are the best !!

Comfortable Cabin, Beautiful Views

We were lucky to be at the cabin for peak foliage. The views from the deck were fantastic. The cabin is very comfortable. The main floor seating area is smaller than expected, however the walkout lower level makes up for that providing ample space and seating. The loft bedroom is spacious and also provides great views of the mountains. The cabin was well stocked, and David and Karen were quick to respond to any request or need. The location of the cabin is peaceful, quiet and a great place for outdoor activities as well as relaxation. We would, if back in the NEK, stay again.

Best weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I needed a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway. This was the perfect place to stay. Beautiful winter views from deck and windows and all around cozy and “at home” feel. We made dinner one night and had everything we needed. The hosts were wonderful and responded very quickly if we needed anything Or had any questions. We look forward to returning! We highly recommend visiting the cutest little shop R & R Trading Post with the cutest pup, Mason, as the welcoming committee. 😊🐶 We also had a wonderful breakfast at Estella’s Bar and Grill and a delicious and very romantic dinner at The Inn at Burklyn and Restaurant. Kelly was the best waitress we’ve ever had. Highly recommend these places if you’re in need of good food. Thank you for renting to us this past weekend. It was our first getaway as a couple and we look forward to many more.
