We had a great time at this spacey, functional, thoughtful and very cozy home. We arrived with a group (2 families) and even though weather conditions didnt play out for much skiing, we still found delicious restaurants in area and with home being so close to other activities and Cara giving us great suggestions, it helped greatly!

This gem is the best location on Mountain!

Convenient is an understatement - you can see the lodge and lift from your window while still feeling private and cozy! Easily walking (or skiing) to the base lodge was so great as we had 2 toddlers in tow who can’t ski to the lodge themselves! The magic carpet and base lift is right there, which made it so easy to take multiple breaks throughout the day for the Littles. The condo was very spacious, especially the basement area with two bunks, which was perfect for the kiddos. Every detail made it comfortable, clean, and cozy. Burke is one of the only true Vermont skiing experiences left in the state that is affordable and great for all skill levels, and this condo is your chance at having all the keys to the castle!

I am originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania. I moved to New Hampshire in 2009 for law school and never left. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring, hiking, and skiing with my husband and our two children. My husband and I are new to hosting. Our goal is to give every renter the best experience possible in Burke so that they can love it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We started coming to the NEK with friends years ago. The magic of the area has to be experienced to be believed. We now take every chance to drive the short trip north to bike, hike, ski, and enjoy the views, food, and beverages that East Burke has to offer. The property is conveniently located for downhill biking, ski in/out on the mountain for whatever suits your family during the ski day, and an easy walk/bike/drive into town for delicious food and drinks. You also cannot beat grabbing to-go food from Auntie DeeDee's and taking it to the north shore of Willoughby Lake for a picnic breakfast or lunch. If you're not into mountain biking, take a road or gravel bike down Rte. 114. Many a moose have been spotted this way!

What makes this property unique

The property has that "cozy grandma's house" vibe to it. There's something to be said for a LazyBoy recliner! The home has a comfortable atmosphere and always makes us feel like we can take a deep breath when we arrive.
