  • JACKPOT!

"Over the years we have rented numerous properties but this one is a stand out! The house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Our multigenerational family group found everything we needed from highchairs to a massage chair! Most importantly the owners were most helpful and easily accessible. Not only was it well located for the skiers in our group but it was also very convenient for the skaters, sledders and shoppers. The house lent itself easily to cooking and serving family meals. We also had the occasional apres ski treat of walking into the village for drinks and fine dining. I rate this property a 10 out of 10. We plan to rent again next year."

  • Great Location!

"This Stowe condo is ideal for a family or group that is looking for spacious accommodations. Located on a side street in the heart of town, the end-unit condo has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Julie was prompt with inquiries and responded to all questions we had. Stowe is an ideal location for a summer getaway, affording us many adventures including hiking opportunities, exploration of local "must dos" such as Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory and Tour as well as the Trapp Family Lodge. Our family took a ferry across Lake Champlain and enjoyed a day at AuSable Chasm in N.Y. Church Street in Burlington was a fun evening; fulfilling our shopping "needs." Great getaway! Thanks to Julie and Rich for sharing their condo with us. :) Would definitely recommend."

  • Perfect rural Vermont experience for the Summer!

"Our family spent 8 days/7 nights this July in the restored 1900 schoolhouse in Wolcott, VT. Although we have vacationed in VT numerous times over the past 15 years, we have primarily done so in the Burlington area and were looking for something a bit different. Being immersed in the rural beauty of Wolcott and slowing our pace to match the environment was exactly what we had hoped. The property itself was wonderful. The schoolhouse has a lot of character, (e.g., hardwood throughout, interior design with a local artisan-feel), with more than enough space for our family. The country kitchen, breakfast nook, and master bedroom with skylights were highlights of the interior that we specifically enjoyed. As lovely as the home itself was, the yard and mountain views were even better. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline, running around the well-maintained yard, using the tree swing, and relaxing with a book on the porch or on the Adirondack chairs in the yard. The panoramic views of the mountains are really beyond description. Since the property is situated high on a mountain road, views down in the valley with the mountains as the backdrop were gorgeous, especially in the morning and at sunset. The only potential negative for those considering this rental is its general location. It was perfect for our family as we enjoyed hanging around the local Wolcott, Hardwick, and Morrisville area, as well as taking day trips to Stowe/Waterbury, Montpelier, Burlington, and the NorthEast Kingdom, this won't be a good fit for those looking for an exciting 'nightlife' scene, etc. Finally, the property owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming to our family. She was a perfect balance of being engaged during the reservation/rental process while also allowing us to enjoy her home/property on our own. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our time at the schoolhouse, hopefully we'll be able to make this an annual tradition!"

  • Great Group rental with Incredible Owners

"Loved everything about our stay here! The house is impecably clean and well appointed. The first floor common area flows from the kitchen, to the dining area and the living room with fireplace and allows for wonderfully relaxing family time together. There are expansive windows throughout the house that fill the rooms with natural light and allow you to appreciate the serenity and privacy of the property. Having a two car garage for our cars since it snowed almost every night, put us on the mountain (only 10-15 min drive) by the first lift with no effort. With Shaws, the grocery store, 5 mins away and a great kitchen, we cooked almost every night but the best restaurants in town are within 10 mins away (and most do takeout if you are tired from skiing). But given all this, by far the most extraordinary amenity to this rental is the owners. They left every closet and drawer empty and available for use. They stocked the bathrooms with travel toiletries and extra towels, their linen closet was full and even left their spices in the kitchen for cooking. We called Jeff, when my sons couldn't find the channel for ESPN to watch the football games and he called us right back to tell us that he added it to his channel package! We strongly recommend this rental - just not for Christmas week, since we hope to return each year."
