  • Great stay

"We had a great stay. Unit was just as advertised and met all our needs. Can't beat being right at the mountain and location of this unit is particularly convenient to everything in the hotel. Would highly recommend."

"We stayed at a unit which was perfect for our group...We always wanted to stay slope side, with our own hot tub and sauna and that is indeed what we got! Everything was very clean, with the exception of the inside shower curtain upstairs...(that needed to be changed, and I don't think it was from renter to renter, was kinda stinky...) There were enough towels for everyone to use for both the hot tub and to shower with...plenty of extra toilet paper and laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent...Hot tub and sauna were a perfect end to a long day of boarding. Daily maintenance on the hot tub was key, made sure to be filled up again and working...beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms just fine for what you need them for...I would say the only complaint was that we lost all water pressure and water on our last night after a long day of boarding, which was frustrating because we all wanted a shower because we were going out at night...but some were unable to. The owner was very good and did get someone over to check it was fixed when we got home and as far as we know, it was not anything to do with one specific had to do with the whole condo complex water system. We were just happy it was fixed when we got home! All and all, we will be returning and renting this place again! We made wonderful memories and this was by far the best placed we have stayed at Killington! Can't wait to return! Thanks for the memories!!"

  • Enjoyable first family vacation

"Finally getting around to writing a review of our stay here. My family and I had a great time and the place was perfect for our first family vacation. My 3 boys (ages 1, 3, and 6) absolutely loved it. They were pretty bummed when we had to leave. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The views and sunsets from the back yard are spectacular. The location is close enough to make day trips to Burlington, Mississquoi NWR, and many VT state parks. We spent a lot of time boating and fishing as well. The only minor disappointment was that the water was so low in the lake this summer that I could not dock my boat. We have had an extreme drought in the Northeast this summer and Lake Champlain was over a foot lower than normal. In a normal year it would not have been an issue at all. Luckily the cottage is only about 1/2 mile from a public boat launch so it was easy enough to trailer the boat. Overall, I would highly recommend this cottage. Especially for families with children. There is even a small assortment of games and toys. Linda was a pleasure to do business with an very helpful."

  • Great, well appointed property in beautiful setting.

"The log cabin is spacious, airy and filled with light but in a hot July well equipped with AC and fans. This was within three miles of the wedding we attended so very convenient yet tucked away in a pastoral setting. We had two babies with us so the kitchen and well working appliances were very helpful. Over all this was a great place to stay in a lovely town in Vermont."
