  • Spotless and well situated townhouse

"The property suited our family's needs perfectly. The unit was well appointed, spotless and centrally located. We stayed for a long hot weekend but would love to try a ski weekend next. The owner was excellent to work with and easy to reach. We'll be back!"

  • Great stay

"We had a great stay. Unit was just as advertised and met all our needs. Can't beat being right at the mountain and location of this unit is particularly convenient to everything in the hotel. Would highly recommend."

  • Perfect rural Vermont experience for the Summer!

"Our family spent 8 days/7 nights this July in the restored 1900 schoolhouse in Wolcott, VT. Although we have vacationed in VT numerous times over the past 15 years, we have primarily done so in the Burlington area and were looking for something a bit different. Being immersed in the rural beauty of Wolcott and slowing our pace to match the environment was exactly what we had hoped. The property itself was wonderful. The schoolhouse has a lot of character, (e.g., hardwood throughout, interior design with a local artisan-feel), with more than enough space for our family. The country kitchen, breakfast nook, and master bedroom with skylights were highlights of the interior that we specifically enjoyed. As lovely as the home itself was, the yard and mountain views were even better. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline, running around the well-maintained yard, using the tree swing, and relaxing with a book on the porch or on the Adirondack chairs in the yard. The panoramic views of the mountains are really beyond description. Since the property is situated high on a mountain road, views down in the valley with the mountains as the backdrop were gorgeous, especially in the morning and at sunset. The only potential negative for those considering this rental is its general location. It was perfect for our family as we enjoyed hanging around the local Wolcott, Hardwick, and Morrisville area, as well as taking day trips to Stowe/Waterbury, Montpelier, Burlington, and the NorthEast Kingdom, this won't be a good fit for those looking for an exciting 'nightlife' scene, etc. Finally, the property owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming to our family. She was a perfect balance of being engaged during the reservation/rental process while also allowing us to enjoy her home/property on our own. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our time at the schoolhouse, hopefully we'll be able to make this an annual tradition!"

  • Very comfortable with all the amenities

"Back in Stowe for another visit! We love it here! This is the second year in a row we are staying in this little gem of a condo! So peaceful and beautiful and what a great location near the recreation path. Just as great as last year. Very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities! We went hiking in the Cady Hill forest (first time) and enjoyed eating in our favourite restaurants (Sunset Grill and Pie.casso). We look forward to coming back and hopefully staying here again. Thanks Jen!"
