  • Great Location!

"This Stowe condo is ideal for a family or group that is looking for spacious accommodations. Located on a side street in the heart of town, the end-unit condo has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Julie was prompt with inquiries and responded to all questions we had. Stowe is an ideal location for a summer getaway, affording us many adventures including hiking opportunities, exploration of local "must dos" such as Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory and Tour as well as the Trapp Family Lodge. Our family took a ferry across Lake Champlain and enjoyed a day at AuSable Chasm in N.Y. Church Street in Burlington was a fun evening; fulfilling our shopping "needs." Great getaway! Thanks to Julie and Rich for sharing their condo with us. :) Would definitely recommend."

  • Quiet, modern and great space for couple

"My husband and I came to Stowe to see the beautiful fall scenery. We wanted a modern space to spread out and relax, and the 1-bedroom unit was perfect. Topnotch was just outside the hustle and bustle of Stowe and was a good jumping off point to many locales. We explored covered bridges, Cabot Creamery, Ben and Jerry's, a beautiful drive through St. Albans on the way to to Burlington, etc. We also enjoyed a fine meal at Michael's on the Hill in Waterbury, and ate at Rimrocks and The Bench (twice) on Mountain Road, and had delicious lunch and good coffee in town. We also had yummy donuts at the Cold Apple Cider place in Waterbury. Everything is relatively close to Topnotch. All in all, our expectations were exceeded with the accommodations - large sitting room, dining area, fully outfitted kitchen, thick bath towels, and comfortable king bed. Thanks to Barbara's clear communication via emails, texts, and notes at the unit, we felt comfortable in knowing what to expect."

  • Wonderful place

"Beautiful place to stay. Very convenient for skiing. The ski valet puts yours skis out in the morning and you just hop on the gondola. The pool was great and a nice warm temp for swimming outdoors in the winter. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are little shops and places to eat, you really never need to leave. The spa was amazing."

  • Good but not great.

"This is a comfortable condo in an excellent position surrounded by trees and greenery. Just a little way down the road is Harvest Market which serves great coffee and even better cakes, breads and lots of other delicious delicacies - very dangerous! My reasons for giving a less than great rating are that although the blurb about the condo says the the furnishings are modern, in fact the dining room table and chairs are pretty ancient and very well worn - definitely past their use by date. And we couldn't understand why there were only 2 dining chairs at the table with a party of 4 coming in. We found some collapsible chairs in a cupboard, thankfully. The other reason is that the whole apartment is in need of a bit of TLC. The window frames in the main bedroom are rotted - maybe other window frames too - and the paint work looks like it's seen better days. Even so, it was comfortable and quiet. We ate out twice at The Bench and really enjoyed our meals. Tasty fish and some of the best chips I've ever had. The other meal options were good too."
