  • Idyllic, tranquil, charming cabin!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Claudia's cabin! Claudia welcomed us with open arms, and made certain that we had a fabulous vacation. She went above and beyond the call of duty by letting our dog out once when we were unable to make it back in time! The cabin is conveniently located near the town of Stowe and the ski resort. It is one of the most unique homes I have ever seen, incorporating a birch tree in the interior architecture. The property grounds were lovely with some charming elements throughout! We are looking forward to staying at Claudia's cabin in the future! I highly recommend a visit for a peaceful cozy experience that where you will leave with wonderful memories!"

  • Perfect rural Vermont experience for the Summer!

"Our family spent 8 days/7 nights this July in the restored 1900 schoolhouse in Wolcott, VT. Although we have vacationed in VT numerous times over the past 15 years, we have primarily done so in the Burlington area and were looking for something a bit different. Being immersed in the rural beauty of Wolcott and slowing our pace to match the environment was exactly what we had hoped. The property itself was wonderful. The schoolhouse has a lot of character, (e.g., hardwood throughout, interior design with a local artisan-feel), with more than enough space for our family. The country kitchen, breakfast nook, and master bedroom with skylights were highlights of the interior that we specifically enjoyed. As lovely as the home itself was, the yard and mountain views were even better. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline, running around the well-maintained yard, using the tree swing, and relaxing with a book on the porch or on the Adirondack chairs in the yard. The panoramic views of the mountains are really beyond description. Since the property is situated high on a mountain road, views down in the valley with the mountains as the backdrop were gorgeous, especially in the morning and at sunset. The only potential negative for those considering this rental is its general location. It was perfect for our family as we enjoyed hanging around the local Wolcott, Hardwick, and Morrisville area, as well as taking day trips to Stowe/Waterbury, Montpelier, Burlington, and the NorthEast Kingdom, this won't be a good fit for those looking for an exciting 'nightlife' scene, etc. Finally, the property owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming to our family. She was a perfect balance of being engaged during the reservation/rental process while also allowing us to enjoy her home/property on our own. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our time at the schoolhouse, hopefully we'll be able to make this an annual tradition!"

  • Beautiful inside and out!

"My family had a wonderful time at Stowe and this condo was a big part of our enjoyment! Perfectly cleaned and decorated, we didn't want for a thing during our stay. Located very close to all Stowe has to offer - bike path passes right by the property. The kids enjoyed playing games at night by the fireplace. Would definitely recommend!"

  • Great location, comfortable and spacious!

"Everyone in our family loved staying at this lovely Stonybrook property. Every room is comfortable and spacious and beautifully decorated, which makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of seating and room for preparing meals. The location is perfect, close to the mountain and all the restaurants and shops. It feels very private, with nice views, even though it's part of a development. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a nice bonus. And the mud room/ entry way is perfect for storing ski/hiking boots. We look forward to coming back! ."
