Checking in was simple, plenty of parking in the attached garage. Bedrooms and common areas are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has nice appliances, bring a skillet with if you plan on cooking for multiple people there aren't many large frying pans to use. All in all we had a great time enjoying Atlantic City, the boardwalk and aquarium are near by making it easy to explore the area.

Fantastic group stay

Great house for hosting my large group. Close to the beach/boardwalk and casinos on both sides of AC. We really enjoyed the roof top space during our stay.

Perfect Bachelorette weekend!

This property was absolutely perfect for our Bachelorette party weekend. Steve was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions. Check-in was a breeze, and the elevator in the garage came in clutch to get luggage to the third floor. The house was a very clean and open space. We had a great stay!!

Our party ended up being 9 people total and we were all very comfortable here. I had recently injured my leg too and was pleased to discover that the home had an elevator! Great home, great, location, great everything!

Short family trip

Very clean property with a wonderful view of the water. Easy access. Only downside was no necessities (ie salt, pepper, extra roll of paper towels, and toilet paper). We had a wonderful time and would stay there again!! The owner was quick to replay and gave fantastic recommendations to restaurants and things to do.

Great way to start off the summer!

What a lovely vacation rental home. As a family of 6, we truly enjoyed our stay at Top End. We were very impressed with how much the house had to offer (great location from the beach, outlets,casinos, restaurants, and marina). The residents of the community were pleasent and friendly. We will without a doubt be back!

a nice place for a family get together

check-in was easy, the place was clean, the elevator made packing and unpacking a breeze, plenty of parking and everything was functional. plenty of gas for the grill, had a sweet cookout and got some sleep between our trips to the casinos. very easy to hit the ocean casino back and forth. would do it again!

Beautiful townhouse

The property was immaculately clean and inviting. Loved having the secure, attached 2 car garage. We had 5 adults, one toddler and 2 small dogs. Plenty of room for everyone! Steve is a wonderful host….very responsive and concerned that everything is perfect, which it was!

Thanksgiving

This was perfect for a 3 generation gathering. The elevator and hardwood floors made it easy for our 97 year old to be with everyone. We had everything we needed. Especially appreciated the linens and towels, for those are hard to bring via airplanes.

Great location in AC!

We had a group of 8 who came to the area for a golf getaway. The house is great and the communication with the host was thoughtful, thorough and very responsive. The kitchen is a large space that's well stocked for preparing meals and snacks. We really enjoyed the roof deck and it's views, as well as the garage for parking vehicles. Thanks again for being great hosts. We would recommend.

Wonderful for family gathering!

Gardner’s Basin location was terrific! The Top End townhome really was perfect for our family of 5 adults but clearly would work for a family or two with children (double bunk beds are great!). Three full bathrooms were much appreciated. And having an elevator for my 85 yr old mother made our visit so easy! Working with Steve is an absolute pleasure. His Mom is the manager and she could not have been more responsive or gracious for the few requests we had. Roof deck is FABULOUS! Deck off the main living area is also a pleasure.

The property was in great condition and had everything we could want. The owner communicated great. Our group of guys walked back and forth to the casinos, boardwalk and beach several times. There also seemed to be an Uber within 4 minutes of our location every time we decided to order a ride instead of walk. The immediate neighborhood was fine but the outskirts of the neighborhood were not the greatest (we walked through several areas with rundown buildings, crumbling sidewalks, broken glass and litter). Overall, we had a great time without any issues.

Great stay

We had a great time. Steve was a great host. We had one problem while staying there. Came back from dinner and the garage door wouldn’t open. Steve had his guy there right away to repair a broken spring and it was all fixed in a flash. This could have been a major problem if Steve didn’t get right on it. 5 adults and 6 kids fit well. Cooked breakfast every morning and spent a lot of time cooking in between the beach and the boardwalk. It was a great trip.

We had a nice stay

The apartment was nice and accommodating for our large group. We had an issue with the garage door and Steve quickly communicated with us and fixed the problem. The only thing I would suggest is to keep a broom and mop available for guests. We had 6 kids and even with adults, the floors became dirty very quickly and while we had a vacuum, it just doesn’t fully do the job. Other than that we had a good experience. Thank you!

Nice roomy townhome

I loved the layout of the place. Not much not to like, but I was very disappointed that the elevator was down, that was something I was looking forward to not have to lug my luggage up all those steps. A few things weren't working and I couldn't find the blender that was listed. The frig could use a good cleaning too, it kinda smelled.....if it was a little less expensive my standards wouldn't have been so high but for the price everything should be clean and working! But all in all, its a great place, plenty of room!

Thank you for the review it’s greatly appreciated. I would like to take a moment to note that we were not made aware that the elevator was down. My elevator repair professional was at the property very recently, it must have happened with the previous guests and we were not informed. This guest did not call us to inform us that there were concerns, we would have had someone over right away to address them. In the rare event issues are discovered we like to have an opportunity to address them right away to minimize any inconvenience. We take any concerns no matter how small very seriously. This guest enjoyed our very low mid-week special rate. It’s an unprecedented deal for the caliber of this property, location, and time of year the rental occurred. There are no other properties the area (many of lower caliber) offering this deal. The concerns noted here have been addressed. Atlantic City Townhouse with Views

Stayed at this townhouse for 4 nights, and had a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The neighborhood was quiet, and so were other guests staying in the same complex. We had no issues. Part of the neighborhood gave us some concern to begin with, but was actually fine and safe. Lovely views and neighborhood. We were even treated to mid afternoon guitar performances by a neighbor (not loud), who plays his guitar on his porch every afternoon. The host Steve was very helpful and responsive. We had a slight problem with a leak, and Steve was very understanding about it. Very much appreciated. Had a great time. We would stay again. Thanks!

Stay was good

Home was clean and organized. We had a great bachelor trip. Only 2 issues with the place were location in comparison to how the pictures show it and the thermostat. Days stayed averaged in mid 70s to low 80’s and the thermostat was locked on heat. Tried contacting all 3 property contacts about it to unlock the thermostat and did not receive calls or texts back. Maybe for future stays leave it unlocked? With that being said, overall, 5 stars for how the property itself is kept. You can see that the surrounding area is trying to be improved, just not quite there yet.

Yes it does sound like that particular weekend was very unseasonably warm for that early in April. That being said it would have absolutely been our pleasure to turn on the AC if we were aware of the request! Please make sure to send a message through Vrbo that is sent to us via email and text and would never be missed. We have been renting our townhomes properties (we have three) for over 16 years now and consider the neighborhood to be quite safe and nice…. We have never had an incident occur related to the safety of the area. Our family has lived around the corner for 20 years and we personally know most of the neighbors. The area can be multicultural and that should have no bearing on the perceived safety of the area. We are so happy that you enjoyed the Top End Townhome! Thank you again for all Owen! Owner, Steve.

Amazing property and location

First off, booking with Steve was a breeze! He was very conversational and provided helpful Atlantic City tips BEFORE we even booked the property. During the trip we asked to have the air conditioner lowered a few degrees so we could sleep better. It was done immediately and without issue. We have stayed in lots of places, and Steve was definitely the most gracious! As for the property, there are not enough positive words I can say about the home. It was immaculately clean. The location was minutes from the boardwalk or the other casinos in the other direction. We had two cars that easily fit in the garage. The elevator, a God-send when you are unpacking after a long ride, or leaving after a glorious week! The rooftop, we spent hours every night just staring at the casino lights in both directions. The neighbors were incredibly nice and welcoming, no matter what time we ran into them. I will, for sure, be coming back again to stay in this Top End Townhome! Thanks again, Steve!!

NEW YEARS EVE FLOP

My friends and I were trying to have a WONDERFUL get away IN STYLE!!! INSTEAD WE STAYED AT a motel or WORSE!!! WE THOUGHT WE HAD AN ELEVATOR IT DIDN'T WORK!!! THERE WAS A SNOW STORM THAT WEEK AND THE SNOW WAS STILL PILLED UP IN THE FRONT AND BACK!!! WE STOOD OUTSIDE WHEN WE GOT THERE FOR OVER 20MIS BECAUSE OUR DOOR CODE DID NOT WORK!!! THE JECUZZI TUBS were FILTHY!!! WE FOUND A SO CALLED CLEAN FRYING PAN IN HE CABINET WITH FRIED EGGS STILL STUCK TO IT!!! YUCK!!!! NO HOT WATER ON THE FIRST DAY!!!! PAID WAY TOOOOOOO MUCH FOR SOOOOO LITTLE!!!! NOT WORTH IT AND NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear prospective tenants please don’t be deceived by this review. At the time of writing this response we have 65 very positive reviews for this highly sought out Atlantic City property and for the management staff. Our impression is this individual had a preconceived intention to justify a rent refund. They do note one valid concern with the hot water heater and we did everything in our power to address it as quickly as possible. We have an endless hot water system installed at the townhomes that is capable of supplying an endless supply of hot water to our guests. Unexpectedly (we are investigating further) it needed to be reset, after the reset it worked perfectly and our response to this issue was timely. Other items noted in this review are either not true or greatly (to say the least) blown out of proportion. Rest assured we take tenant concerns very seriously (regardless of how small) and do everything humanly possible to address them immediately. In this case our maintenance manger personally stopped by the property to offer to help them anyway possible even if it was not related to the rental. Their security deposit was returned in full even though the townhome was left in far from good condition. Also to mention we had guests in the other 2 townhome units during this time, both parties had zero issues and provided great reviews. Gorgeous Property- Ugly Location

I rented the property in early April, and was very pleased with the previous feedback of others renters. The photos displayed a beautiful layout of this 3/3 townhome and the location to all the casinos was perfect. I also give kudos for the timely response of the owner and his help in securing the reservation dates. Upon arrival I was surprised to see that directly across the street was a ship yard and what appeared to be an abandoned construction site that was a definite eye sore for such a beautiful townhome. However if you are just going there to gamble then perhaps to some this is minor, for me not so much because I enjoy the ambiance of everything including outside. On top of this eye sore I was greeted or should I say disturbed without notification from a realtor who wanted to show the property. Prior to departure on the agreed upon date and time I was yet again disturbed by the cleaning crew who had no clue that the time was extended for checkout. Overall I give the property 10 out of 10 as far as the location 5 out of 10. However for the price which was excellent I would definitely recommend this property. Hopefully the next renter will not experience the problems that I encountered.

The "abandoned construction site" noted is actually an old marina that will eventually be replaced with eleven townhomes similar in quality to ours. We would not necessary call it an eye sore but we do look forward to when it will be replaced with the townhomes. Honestly after almost countless happy renters and many years this is the first time the marina was mentioned as a concern. The realtor that showed up did not have our permission to do so, we addressed it, and rest assured a scenario like that will never happen again. We like to offer our tenants a late checkout at no additional charge… there was a small paperwork typo that causes the cleaning crew to show up a little early. I believe this is the first occurrence but we have refined our systems/processes to ensure this never happens again. Thanks again for the excellent feedback.

AC for nationals dance competition.

This house was incredible. The highlights:1. The elevator was a huge bonus when moving luggage and dance duffels. 2. Plenty of room to spread out. 3. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking utensils and plates/flatware. 4. The kids enjoyed the rooftop hang out area. 5. Everything was very clean. 6. Easy garage access7. Comfortable beds. 8. Nice showers. 9. Lots of towels. 10. 12 minute drive to the Tropicana where the competition was. 11. Supplied 1 roll paper towels in kitchen, 2 rolls TP in each bathroom, dishwashing packets, washing machine packets, hand soap by all sinks. 12. Steve was incredibly attentive and prompt. And so kind. The not so good: 1. Neighborhood is a little sketchy. 2. It’s a little dark in the kitchen when cooking in the evening. I wholeheartedly recommend this property. If you choose to stay here, I would recommend the following:1. Bring beach towels and chairs if you’re planning on going to the beach. 2. Pack shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. 3. Bring or buy salt/pepper/cooking oil, etc. Overall a wonderful property. And I would definitely rent from Steve again.
