The views were wonderful. The sunset was gorgeous from the dock. The only downside was getting in and out with a big truck. Other than that the stay was great. Host was excellent with any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay!

The time spent with my wife and daughter was one I will cherish as the accommodations were perfect. The quietness and seclusion added to the peacefulness needed from the hustle and bustle of our daily grind. GOD’s beauty at sunrise and sunset on the lake was perfect. Thanks to Gigi for her help in getting us an early check in as she had much more to think about that was on her plate at that time. Yes we will come back!

I feel so lucky to have found The Captain’s Cottage on Lake Hamilton! Our host, Gigi, was so helpful and quick responding to my inquiry about the property. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary and because we couldn't board our dog; we needed a pet friendly place to stay. If you want good views, lakefront, and easy access to every thing in Hot Springs then this is the place for you! Everything from check in to check out went perfectly. I hope we can come back in the fall and/or the spring and maybe stay more than one night!

We felt at home without all the craziness. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our senior beagle also enjoyed her stay. She loved sitting on the porch with us watching the boats go by!

We loved staying here! Hosts were very easy to communicate with and we enjoyed waking up to the view of Lake Hamilton every morning. Would definitely stay here again

The property is very old but well maintained. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking essentials. Charming decorations. It’s just a few steps to the water.They also allowed my larger dog. Only negative was a sewer smell in the air outside. Not sure where that was coming from however.
