Walk To The Beach From This Beautifull New Studio With Everything You Need

Thank you for looking at our newly constructed Studio Condo in St. Kitts Building. After Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September of 2017, the entire building was completely gutted and rebuilt. Each unit was then finished by the individual owners. We put a lot of thought and effort into this unit, taking into account our many years of management and concierge service at major resorts in the Caribbean.

This walk in level unit is fitted with an ultra quiet AC system that will keep you cool and comfortable through out your stay. The custom kitchen features granite counters and stainless appliances. The all new bathroom has beautiful walk-in shower with glass and stainless accents. The queen size bed has a 14 inch premium memory foam mattress. There is a brand new smooth sliding glass door leading out to a cozy outside balcony where you can enjoy morning coffee or shaded afternoon cocktails while looking out over Sapphire Resort and the beautiful islands nearby.

The unit is fully stocked with linens and towels for both bath and beach. There are beach chairs for you to enjoy. The kitchen is complete with fridge, a glass cook-top stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and most everything you need for making light meals should you choose to eat in.

Just outside the building, only 100 ft. away is one of two swimming pools on the property. There is a restaurant and bar just a 3 minute walk from the unit. Sapphire beach is just down the hill (7 minute walk). Red Hook with it's many bars and restaurants, grocery store and ferry to St. John is just 3 minutes away by car or taxi.

St. Thomas is a hilly (volcanic island) island and Sapphire Village is built on the side of a hill overlooking Sapphire Beach and the waters beyond. While this offers amazing views, it does mean that walking home from the beach is up hill. Please keep that in mind as a short walk down to the beach means a slightly more exercising walk back at the end of the day.

As owners of several units, Heidi and Robert are often nearby and can always be reached by phone or email. We have lived in the Caribbean most of our lives, and enjoy sharing our knowledge of local history, culture, places to visit and favorite eateries and watering holes. We are very happy to help arrange tours, excursions, boat rentals, massages, car or jeep rentals and more. Please don't hesitate to ask.

Great place close to Red Hook.

Condo was clean and in a convenient location to Red Hook. Owners were responsive and unit had all supplies needed including beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels. Resort area was clean and staff were polite and helpful. Beautiful view!

Great place with a great view

The apartment is very neat and tidy has literally everything you need to stay there. The check in/out procedures are simple and straightforward, and the view out of the little balcony was gorgeous! Will definitely stay again!

A great stay at Sapphire Village!

We had a great stay at Robert and Heidi’s apartment. Robert and Heidi were really hospitable and we’re very quickly to answer all our questions. The Sapphire Beach is a great location. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Great Property, Good Location

Property was exactly as described on VRBO listing. Plumbing, electrical, WiFi worked well- always a major relief when this happens. Good location, convenient to beach and downtown Red Hook. Didn't use one of the two pools but they were also close to our room. Would highly recommend this property to others. Infact, daughter and granddaughter will be there in June. Thanks for a great stay !!

We had thee best time here. The walk to the beach was a bit of a climb back up- but you can always jump in the first pool on your way up (and have a drink)… the last pool (closest to your condo) no bar and no food - but it’s so quiet at night for a midnight swim …. Both pools are lit up at night and so pretty. I got a bit tanked one night at the Bar/pool with my friend….and left my brand new Coach sunglasses on a tiki table near the pool, I came back the next day…. And my glasses were still there!! It’s very safe and quiet. You will love Robert your host- very responsive to anything you need. The balcony view is to die for. Enjoy 👏

View is to die for! Beautiful beaches!

Amazing area to stay, small studio but had all the utensils I need to cook. The Condo owners are mostly retired and quiet. The bars and restaurants close at 9pm. Area is not walkable, you have to taxi EVERYWHERE. I stayed for a week and spent almost $800 on taxis alone. And I only used a taxi 6 times. If you are looking for some quiet times it's the place for you. If you are looking local culture, music,people. Definitely bot th3nplqce for you.

Amazing Views

I read reviews before ever booking a stay anywhere. This one has multiple mentioning the hill down to the beach, while this is true and yes if you go down the main road it's quite the trek back up. We chose to walk down through the buildings and across the marina which is a much more gradual incline. There are taxis galore and i'm sure they'd take you back up for a few bucks if needed. The room was great and stocked with everything we needed, though we ate out each night. The beach is amazing and pretty quiet for those looking for more peaceful stays. Redhook is close and has many options for eating and nightlife, though shopping is quite expensive for some items. The Beach Buzz down below has wonderful coffee and breakfast sandwiches as well as souvenirs and travel size amenities you may have forgotten, which we didn't know and that's how we found out the Redhook Prices.

This was truly one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The view alone was breathtaking — the kind you never get tired of waking up to. I watched the sunrise from my bed.The host was wonderful: friendly, responsive, and communicative from start to finish, which made the entire experience seamless. Nice Condo

Very nice condo and has everything you need. Only two complaints that dropped it from 5 stars to 4 stars for me: 1. We were given the wrong room info and we ended up walking into someone else’s room. It took a little while to get it all sorted out, but after we finally got a hold of the owner they got us all the info to sort it out very quickly. 2. Not the owners fault, but there are some steep hills to walk up and down to get to and from the condo. They can wear you out if you’re not in decent shape. Other than that, we loved our stay and location. We would love to come back sometime!

Great experience

The cleanliness and amenities are 5/5 which is important on the island, location was great ,view was amazing from the deck, there are two pools and a restaurant (sudis-amazing food -better than in town food) within 3 min walk. Yes the hills can be challenging but i look at it as a small daily workout no big deal if you're able bodied. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Loved the stay.

THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM AND THE BALCANY WAS EXTREMELY GOOD! The bed was comfortable. The beach was within 9 minutes walking, but it was a steep uphill coming back from beach; though you could use longer switchback ways to make it less steep to climb back to condo.

Overall we had a great experience! The condo was perfect for our needs & exactly as described. The view from the balcony is gorgeous; it’s close to the pool & a short walk (uphill all the way back :) to the beach. We actually never swam at Saphire Beach, the seaweed (Sargassum) was adundant at that time. But we had a car & went to the north side to Megan’s Bay which is absolutely wonderful. We spent 2 days on St. John- the ferry is only a couple miles from the condo. Red hook is also a very short drive/taxi ride. We would absolutely stay there again!

Enjoyed waking up to this view

The view from this condo is stunning.! We loved waking up to it every morning and watching sunsets in the evenings. The property is exactly as advertised and we found the location was perfect for meeting up for excursions at Sapphire Bay Marina or ferrying across to St John from Red Hook. It is close to a string of amazing beaches, including Sapphire, Lindquist and Coki. And, the shops and restaurants in Red Hook are really great. We rented snorkel gear from Ocean Shores in Red Hook for the week and had a great dinner and an excellent breakfast of Eggs Benedict at Hook’d. Red Hook is less than a 5 minute drive from the condo. Also, Sudi’s on Sapphire Beach has good food and drinks. This is an excellent home base for 1-2 people! We were so comfortable and we loved our stay.

Why they chose this property

This unit is a walk in level unit just 150 feet from the upper pool. It is accessible for persons with reduced mobility. The unit has been completely renovated after the hurricanes of 2017.
There are several restaurants within walking distance and Red Hook and the Red Hook ferry terminal are less than a mile away.
Sapphire Beach is a down hill walk from the unit and a brisk uphill ten minute walk back up. Taxi cabs can be easily used to get about the island and a car is not necessary.
