Ocean front 1 Bedroom, 1 bath fully renovated condo. No detail overlooked.

Welcome to paradise! The first sweeping views from the hill overlooking Sapphire Beach will take your breath away. Once inside the beach level condo you will know you are home! The renovations that began in September 2016 are complete and we are pleased to offer our beautiful space for you to enjoy. Our condo has a bright open floor plan and includes all the comforts of home. Gorgeous dark tile throughout ties in the mahogany from the exterior and the professional decoration, color combinations and details make this condo unique in so many ways.

Located in D building near the end of the complex. Here you have easy access to the pool, a quiet beach and unobstructed views of the Caribbean sea with St. John Island in the distance . A short walk to your left from the patio will take you in front of buildings A-C where you will find a volley ball net, expanded beach, the dive shop and the Sapphire Bar and Grill. Plenty of sunshine as well as plenty of shade from the Sea-grape and palm trees can be found on the beach. Whether you want to catch some rays or sit quietly under a tree for an afternoon nap, you have all the room you'll need to enjoy your day right here, right outside your patio door at Sapphire Beach.

The beautifully remodeled kitchen has hardwood cabinets, quartz counter tops, a gorgeous back splash and stainless steel sink. New stainless steel appliances include a full size microwave, stove/oven and refrigerator with an ice maker and water dispenser. A blender, coffee pot, toaster and all the necessary pots and pans, dishes and utensils for your comfort and convenience are included. Basic spices such as salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, garlic salt, basil and others are found above the sink.

Enjoy relaxing in the living room on comfortable furniture and listen to and watch the waves roll in. A brand new 40" flat screen LED TV that includes over 20 channels is also available. There is a dinning room table and chairs where you can enjoy your meals, play games or set up your laptop computer to catch up on those emails you couldn't quite get to before you left. WIFI is included with the condo. At the end of the day close the blackout shades in front of the wall of windows facing the ocean for privacy.

The spacious bathroom offers a new walk in tile shower with river rock floor. A single quartz sink and counter top sit upon a gorgeous vanity offering plenty of counter space and storage drawers. Included are bath towels, hotel sized soaps and shampoos to help you settle in. A hair dryer is also included for your convenience.

The bedroom room has a new king size bed, side tables with a lamp. Opposite the bed, a desk and drawers is available for clothing storage. A large closet is available for hanging clothes and suitcase storage. Room dividing panels between the bedroom and living room space can be closed for more privacy.

Relax on the private patio in comfort that overlooks the gorgeous white sands and the calm crystal clear waters of Sapphire Beach. Catch the sunrise over St John while sipping your coffee and at the end of the day enjoy a glass of wine with unobstructed views of the Caribbean sea and the lights of neighboring islands of St John, Jost Van Dyke and other British Virgin Islands.

No detail has been overlooked. Our rental comes with over-sized beach towels, a beach bag, a small insulated cooler and snorkeling gear all located inside the condo and beach ready. We have WiFi so you can use your tablet, smart phone or laptop to stay connected.

The premises:

The Dive In shop on the beach is open for business. Here you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle(SUP) boards, snorkeling gear and foam beach floats. Sun screen lotions and sunglasses are also for sale.

Recently opened as of July 2016. The Sapphire Beach Bar and grill is now serving cold drinks and grilled sandwiches right here at Sapphire Beach. The new poolside restaurant at Sapphire Village--- Slices Craft Pizza and Cafe has opened, specializing in fresh, locally sourced meals. They are serving lunch, dinner and drinks just a short 5 minute walk up the hill past the marina and 'F' building.

East End / Redhook:

The town of Red Hook is just about 1/2 mile from the condo and boasts many restaurants, shops, bars, marinas and of course the Ferry dock where you can catch a ferry over to St John or any of our other neighboring islands. Red Hook has 2 grocery stores. A more modern "Whole Food" style store named Moe's is right across from Senor Frogs. You will find plenty of gourmet foods, beer, liquor and a large selection of wine and champagne in the upper level wine cellar. If you prefer a larger selection and variety the Food Mart is short drive out side of Red Hook. Food Mart is a bit less expensive and includes a Boar's Head Deli and a great selection of meats and cheeses.

The island of St. Thomas has a growing "Foodie" culture, including now offering a walking food and culture tour. Menus for other local restaurants are located inside the condo or we would be happy to recommend some our favorite places!

If you're in the mood to explore:

Day sail over to St. John and visit Caneel Bay and Trunk Bay. Cruise the Bad Kitty catamaran to Jost Van Dyke in the BVI, home of Foxy's and the famous Soggy Dollar Bar. Speedboat to Virgin Gorda and The Baths. Dive PADI. Jetski. Fish the North and South Drops with the very best. Or just hang out and watch the boats.

The Virgin Islands National Park on St John is easily accessible by ferry from Red Hook. Catch a cab at Cruz Bay dock and go explore the park, soak in the beauty of Trunk Bay, Caneel Bay, Cinnamon Bay or hike any one of the 22 trails. You may want to check out the ruins of Annaberg Plantation where they produced sugar, molasses and rum. Participate in a demonstration on basket weaving or bread baking. The ruins are fairly extensive and well preserved. Once your day is over stop by Longboards in Cruz Bay for a happy hour cocktail before you ferry back

Lindquist Beach on St. Thomas is a short drive or cab ride. This beach offers calm clear blue water, soft sand, snorkeling and tide pools. Lindquist is the most pristine beach on St. Thomas and is must see.

Megans Bay beach is a one mile long beach that is protected from currents and waves and is St. Thomas most popular beach. It is the only beach where you have to pay an admission fee. These fees are used for maintenance and up keep.

Shopping in Charlotte Amalie is tax free!! High end shopping such as Tiffany, Gucci, IZOD, Hilfiger, Louise Vitton and many other jewelry stores offer great products with great prices. Stop by the Yacht Haven Grande shopping area for many other shopping options.

So bring your bikinis, flip flops and be ready to relax and unwind in the beautiful Caribbean sun!

Very Nice Condo

This was a very nice condo. Everything was clean and it was just the right size for the two of us. The view from the condo was beautiful and it was easy access to the entire beach. There was some ongoing construction going on at the time as well as some beach clean up from seaweed that had blown in, but they did a good job of keeping all that as unobtrusive as possible. Would definitely look at coming back to this condo.

Charming condo in great location!

We LOVED this condo! It is so tastefully decorated and they truly have EVERYTHING you could need. The bed was SO comfortable (almost too comfortable b/c I had trouble getting my husband out of it in the morning!). The unit is in building D- which is right next to the pool and steps away from the marina (which was great when we booked a parasail outing). The location also provides more privacy- as the beach farther down to the left gets a little more busy. We loved having our coffee and glass of wine on the lovely lanai- just steps from the beach.

This was our first time to St. Thomas and we rented a car. Although it took a little getting used to (as they drive on the left and have very steep, windy streets) we did just fine and liked having the freedom to explore the island whenever we wanted (although there is a taxi stand on property that will call a taxi for you).

Communicating with Paula was a breeze. She was very easy to contact and always responded to my emails promptly. We will definitely stay in there lovely condo during our next visit!

Beautiful!

The condo was beautiful. Nicely remodeled. I loved that there were beach towels and a cooler available for us to use. One less thing I had to remember to pack. You wake up in the morning and have the best view of the beach right on your porch. It's nice that building D is off to the side, it was more private and there wasnt anyone walking in front of us while we enjoyed the view.

The one negative was that one of the units above us was under construction. It was hard to sleep in with all those power tools going off right above you. But we understood things are still getting remodeled after the hurricanes. We just had our coffee out on the porch and headed out to the beach for the day. By the time we returned they were done for the day.

We rented a car because we could explore all of the nearby beaches, which I would suggest. Driving on the left took some getting used to and the roads were sometimes a little rough. Secret harbor and coki beach are really close by and just as beautiful as sapphire beach, it was nice to explore other parts of the island. Megan's beach was a bit of a drive to get to but was worth the trip!

The town of redhook is very close to the condo which made running to the grocery or liquor store convenient. That is also where you can catch the ferry to st.johns.

Beautiful!

This was our first time to St. Thomas Island and on our honeymoon. The place is better than advertised (because pictures cannot do it justice). A truly beautiful place. The Fitzgerald's responded promptly to questions. We enjoyed eating at Red Hook several nights. We enjoyed going to St. John on the ferry and going for a hike. The waters were blue and clear which made for an enjoyable snorkeling experience (we stumbled into a sting ray!). Overall, it was a great experience and I would encourage anyone to take a break and stick your toes in the sand right outside of this condo.

Wonderful accommodations at the doorstep to paradise

Despite very challenging circumstances following the hurricanes last year, our stay in this unit on Sapphire Beach was wonderful, and exceeded our expectations. We felt safe, the local people all try to do their very best every step of the time, and the weather is perfect. Craig and Paula have a very lovely, clean, updated unit that made us feel right at home. They have done everything they can, to make your experience an unforgettable one. I would return without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.
