Aloha! Welcome to our beautifully remodeled 3-bedroom, 3-bath oceanview condo in Maui. Take in sweeping wrap-around balcony views of the ocean and Molokai, spot resident sea turtles just steps from the property, or enjoy a short drive to nearby oceanfront pickleball courts. Ideal for families, groups, or a relaxing tropical escape!

Cooling & comfort:
A portable AC is installed only in the master bedroom. The second bedroom and other parts of the condo do not have AC yet, but thanks to Maui’s consistent trade winds, ceiling fans in every room, and ceiling insulation added a few years ago, the space stays comfortable year-round.

We provide paddles and balls for your use. Courts are a short drive away at Lahaina Civic Center (free) and Kapalua Tennis Garden (available by reservation for a small fee). Message us for details and contacts!

Nice Ammenities

Great location for whale watching and walking to some stores/restaurants. Unit has snorkel and misc beach things, board games, and on site washer/dryer.

Property is great for sleeping and each having own bath. Kitchen a bit small for group as well as seating at dining table and living room area. Had a few days of rain which kept us indoors and got a bit cramped. Location is good for that side of island and easy access to main roads.

Perfect location!

Great location in Lahaina. Wish we would’ve stayed here longer. The first few nights were spent in Kihei. Next time, we will stay in Lahaina. Only changes we would prefer are a place with A/C and pest control. Minor issue with insects in the kitchen.

Absolutely exceeded expectations

We couldn’t have been happier.. the property was lovely, the rental had everything and more for our family, and our hosts were friendly and helpful. We traveled all over the island in search of the best snorkeling and it turned out to be right at the beach of the property. Sea turtles and rainbows?! Amazing!

Extraordinary views!!

This condo was the nicest on the property and had a million dollar view! This was a family trip with our kids and grand daughter and the place was perfect for us! Lovely location, very responsive host and the condo had everything we needed. Beautiful breezes that kept us comfortable throughout our stay and sitting in the swinging chairs on the lanai while listening to the ocean waves was a slice of heaven. Watching the turtles in front of the property in the early morning was an added bonus! Dan was very responsive and answered any questions we had within minutes. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The pool and hot tub were delightful and kept clean throughout our stay. Thank you Dan and Stephanie! We will definitely be back!!

Above and beyond perfect!

We are a family of 7(grandmother, parents and 4 teens/young adults). This condo was perfect for us. Clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable I wish I had them at home. My husband and I enjoyed the master bedroom, my mother in law the 2nd bedroom and the four siblings bunked together in the loft upstairs & everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was updated & stocked with everything we needed. Hosts had a gift of delicious local coffee & cookies waiting for us,too. But the view- you just can’t beat the view from the lanai- absolutely gorgeous!!!! The breeze from the trade winds kept us perfectly comfortable and the sound of the waves was so soothing! A sunset view over the ocean framed by palm trees every night! I LOVED watching the whales from the lanai as well- we saw them on hikes and a whale watch/snorkeling trip, but not like the full breaches we saw from the lanai! Another of our absolute favorite experiences of the trip took place right there when we walked to the little beach next door and saw the sea turtles, and even swam with them. Absolutely once in a lifetime amazing! The pool and hot tub were sparkling and central to the complex & we all enjoyed hopping in after a day of exploring. Most wonderful of all was how helpful Dan was with his spot-on recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and how quickly he responded before and during our trip. He was so friendly and kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great stay. Mahalo!

Dan is AWESOME!!

First off Dan is an AMAZING property owner, he's incredibly responsive and takes action immediately. We encountered a few issues during our stay and Dan addressed all of the issues quickly, efficiently and effectively, cannot say enough about Dan, he is awesome. The property did fall a little short in my expectations due to those issues which were all mostly plumbing related. The bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. There's an oddity in the electrical wiring where the ceiling fan in the main television room can only stay on when the light above the kitchen table is on so leaving the ceiling fan overnight is only possible if the light bulbs are disconnected. The upstairs loft area is very nice, the upstairs bathroom does need work, the tiles in the tub are older and a renovation would be necessary soon. The complex is nice, views from the balcony did see whales and turtles which was great! Since it was during Christmas and New Years there were lots of families in the complex. Also there is NO air conditioning in the condo (very typical for Maui) since there was no air conditioning the windows need to be open all the time. The air flow is very comfortable; however; the noise level from the adjacent condos is amplified with crying children, alarms going off at very early hours (4:00 am). There nearest "nice" beach is definitely a car ride away. Dan does provide all the necessary beach equipment and then some! In fact the condo has just about anything anyone could for including games and great kitchen supplies. Overall our stay was very good once we got past the issue and this was due to Dan's attentiveness and care. If you're looking for a comfortable condo with a great owner this is your place, thanks again Dan!

Exceeded expectations

Dan was the consummate VRBO host. Communication before booking, post booking, and post-arrival was SUPERB. The property was clean, well appointed, and spacious. It accommodated our party of 5 adults and one child perfectly. We did have problems with ants in the kitchen, but upon notifying Dan, he had his handyman take care of the issue promptly using organic pest deterrents, thinking of our daughter and to reduce exposure to toxic chemicals. So very thoughtful! The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essential cooking tools and plenty of storage containers to keep food fresh from the humidity. Due to food safety concerns, the hosts do not provide any cooking essentials like oil, salt or pepper. This would have been nice to know in advance to so that we could cook the meals we had planned without making another run to the store. I only mention this so that others are aware in advance of their arrival if they plan to prepare meals at the property. Maybe this is mentioned in the email sent to renters in advance of arrival and I just missed it. In any event, it does not reflect upon the wonderful experience we had here and the hospitality exhibited by Dan throughout our stay. We opted not to rent the car, but when our daughter came down sick and we had to take her to the hospital, I reached out to Dan to see about renting it so that the rest of our party wouldn't be without a vehicle and could make their scheduled excursions. He went above and beyond, jumping into action by contacting his on-island property manager and handyman to see if they could get us the keys. It didn't work out, but fortunately we were able to rent a car from Budget up the street. We greatly appreciated that Dan was prompt to our messages and worked so hard to try and get us access to his vehicle. The dedicated parking space was very nice and the immaculately maintained grounds of the complex were beautiful. The evening sunsets from the amazing swings on the patio were simply breathtaking. As of this writing, we were Dan & Stephanie's 5th renters, and there were zero reviews on the property when we booked. I was a bit hesitant because of this, but so glad we weren't deterred and went through with booking this unit. So, stop looking now and book! This is the perfect condo, in the perfect location, with the perfect hosts.

great location away from crowds and traffic

Having use of rental car at property was convenient. We enjoyed the location closer to North shore away from the resorts and traffic, yet was an easy drive to Front St. The 3 bedroom set up worked for our family of 5. and the views were stunning. Great vacation, would return again

Wonderful family vacation.

Polynesian Shores met the needs of our family of 6. There were 3 full baths and a bed for everyone. The pool was nice and never too crowded. The view was stunning. We were very warm because there was no air conditioning and we were up at the crack of dawn every day because the windows and blinds needed to stay open for the breeze. Birds were loud, neighbors were loud and the sun was bright! Maui and was beautiful and I hope to return soon.

I really liked Dan. He was very helpful and very prompt to answer any questions. The property is in a good location. I loved being on the water. I thought the beach area was going to be larger with more sand. I was disappointed that the property did not have air conditioning. It was totally my fault because I never even thought to ask or look to see if there was air conditioning. It was hot! We kept all the windows and doors open to get the breeze but I’m use to air conditioning when I sleep. I was uncomfortable leaving the front door open at night because you are literally on top of your neighbor- walls are paper thin. The master bedroom faces the parking lot and the garbage trucks start really early(6am) in the morning. It was loud in the morning because of the parking lot noise. I didn’t want to say anything negative but I just want the next family to know what they are renting. Good location, awesome management., plenty of space for a family, no air conditioning, carpet, drive to a real beach and very close to neighbors.

Perfect for us

As a family of seven (2 couples and 3 kids)—there were three bedrooms and bathrooms—and the loft had beds for the 3 girls. We were very pleased with the arrangement. The condo overlooks the pool so we could monitor our teen girls at the pool. A wonderful experience for all was when we took a path to a ladder into the ocean where we could swim with the huge sea turtles—thrilling! A lovely tropical setting! The only drawbacks were 1) the spiral staircase to the loft that two of us bumped our heads on (we later hung a towel on it) and 2) we had to leave and go home.

Beautiful property with fabulous ocean views

This condo was exactly as advertised. We have stayed at many different locations over the years and this is one of our new favorites. Polynesian Shores is a smaller complex which we prefer. The condo was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. There were beach chairs, snorkels, boogie boards and floaties which we got good use out of. The best part of the condo is the deck! I could sit for hours (and did some days) watching the whales and the beautiful ocean. Dan responded quickly to any questions. One thing to be aware of is that because it is a smaller complex there is only one parking spot. If you are a large group that has two cars you will have to park one car on the street. Most days we were able to find a spot across the street. Overall it was a fabulous trip. A beautiful complex. And I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Dan!

Lahaina Paradise

Condo is located in outskirts of Lahaina so having access to the owner’s vehicle for US $39 per day plus insurance was a significant reason for us renting this condo. In addition it’s a rare find as it has three bedrooms with great beds and also three bathrooms. Having a good sleep is always critical and the beds were awesome. Owners were very responsive to any concerns. The condo complex is small and very family friendly. Pool and hot tub wonderful! No beach at this complex and thus the reason why the vehicle was so necessary.

Perfect

We visited with my 4 kids (8,10,12, and 16) and their grandparents. Accommodations were perfect for us. The kids loved the spiral staircase up to the loft. It comfortably slept all 4 of them with their own bathroom up there as well. The adults all slept great as well. We didnt use the kitchen much outside of some fried eggs, toast and coffee, but everything was there for us. The views from the deck were great with several whales spotted. The pool and hot tub were a perfect way for us to relax after whatever excursion we did during the day. And, the gas grills actually made me a little jealous wishing my grill at home was that nice. I managed to perfectly grill some fresh Mahi from The Fish Market Maui without it sticking to the grill! The location was also perfect. Far enough away from Lahaina to not be busy, but close enough to get some carry out at Star Noodle or some of the other great restaurants in town. And, you dont need even need to drive the couple miles to Lahaina to get great food. Finally, the use of the Mercedes was perfect for us and worked great. I dont know what we would have done otherwise, with rental cars so hard to find and crazy expensive if available. Its been a little over a week since our stay, and I already miss it there. Some day we'll be back in Maui and hope to stay here again.

Great place to stay!

The condo is in a beautiful location with a great view and nice grounds. Dan was very responsive to all our questions and made some really good recommendations, especially to eat at Fish Market Maui. It was terrific having the Mercedes. There were 3 of us and it was so nice to each have our own bedroom and bathroom. There was one maintenance issue during our stay and Dan resolved it quickly, a great host!

Great Condo with a Fantastic View

We stayed for 2 weeks in this wonderful condo with the most Fantastic View. By the end of our stay we decided that it was the absolute best condo in the complex. Really, we should know as we spent so much time in those great hanging chairs on the patio. We were there the last 2 weeks of October this westward facing Condo did not have the glaring afternoon sun coming in the windows and had wonderful trade winds coming in and since this is a corner unit there was great air circulation. This complex location is convenient to beaches, shopping and within walking distance of restaurants. All instructions arrived prior to our arrival and were very clear. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. All and All this was a great Holiday in a great Condo. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Amazing view and peaceful home

The view was stunning. I could just sit on the balcony all day an look at the ocean. We had dinner outside each night. The grounds were beautiful, we took family photos outside by the water. Beautiful Condo and Views, Great Hosts!

The property looked just as in the pictures. We had a wonderful stay here, and the views and wrap around porch really could not be beat. Everything was clean, and we really appreciated that the condo supplied towels/snorkel gear/beach chairs and umbrellas/etc. The hosts, particularly Dan, were AMAZING. We rented the car that had come with the property which unfortunately had some issues come up midweek. Luckily we were able to find another rental but Dan was very responsible and helpful, arranged for the tow and another parking space for us to use, and refunded the car rental for us, which we appreciated greatly. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to go back to Maui!

Beautiful home

My family, friends and I had a wonderful stay in this unit. There is just nothing better than watching the sunset from the balcony or watching the sea turtles at the rocks daily. The beauty of this place is absolutely breath taking. Dan was a great host and stayed in communication to make sure everything was perfect. We can’t wait to visit again!
