Preciosa villa moderna de cuatro dormitorios con vistas privadas piscina y al mar. Situado cerca del pintoresco pueblo de Santo Estavao en su propio terreno con jardines establecidos, barbacoa, aire acondicionado, WiFi, DVD y equipo de sonido. Bien equipado con las bicicletas disponibles para los huéspedes explorar el área local (pequeña tarifa de pago). A sólo diez minutos de la playa, el golf y el centro de Tavira y treinta minutos del aeropuerto de Faro.

La región del Algarve

área de Tavira es uno de los mejores relajado lugares para visitar. 5 km al sur de Sto Estevao es muy fácil perder la noción del tiempo paseando por las encantadoras calles de piedra, con sus numerosos restaurantes, tiendas, bares y terrazas para disfrutar de un refresco en el sol. . El palacio está cerca de la playa de la Isla de Tavira está dentro de un corto viaje en barco. La playa más cercana está a Barrill en Santa Lucía, frente Pedras del Rei, situado en el parque de la reserva natural de Ria Formosa.

Usted está mucho donde elegir en Tavira y Santa Luzia con muchos restaurantes y bares, mientras que el mantenimiento de un ambiente pintoresco no comercial. Si no te gusta playas superpobladas entonces estas son las playas adecuadas para usted, especialmente con su Barrill 14 kilometros tramo de arena fina y dunas de arena blanca. Caminar 500 metros y encontrará su propio tramo de playa.

Otros lugares para visitar son la ciudad de Faro si desea ir de tiendas o restaurantes locales y bares o sentarse y ver los yates en el puerto deportivo.

playa de Manta Rota, Playa Verde y Cabanas son sólo un coche corto paseo de distancia al igual que Castro Marim con sus dos castillos. Tavira está a sólo 40 minutos en coche de la frontera española.

Sto Estavao es un pequeño pueblo con una pequeña iglesia pintoresca, un bar, un restaurante, farmacia y supermercados. Es muy relajado y tiene varios festivales locales a lo largo del año. Rodeado de campos de naranjos, es tranquilo y pacífico en mal sólo por el sonido de los grillos y muchas aves que frecuentan el campo. También tenemos nuestros propios conejos residentes.

A great villa for a quiet stay located near Tavira with excellent views towards the sea. The property is well equipped and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. A short drive from several places worth visiting including Tavira, Santa Luzia, the Spanish town of Ayamonte and lots of beaches.

Lovely spacious villa in excellent condition and very clean. It is in a very rural and secluded position and apart from the odd dog barking there was no noise so very peaceful. We enjoyed the sea view. A car is essential. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden is extensive and well maintained. The pool was very warm in August and although there are no parasols for the sunbeds there is plenty of shade next to the villa. There are a few pool tiles missing but this does not affect use of the pool. Finally we could not speak too highly of Happy Homes and particularly Joal who looks after the property. He was very flexible with check-in, replaced a pool net that was broken when we arrived, arranged for an air-con unit to be fixed and when we realised a mid-stay change of bed linen and towels was not included for our two week rental he arranged for a clean set to be delivered so we could change them ourselves. Top man.

Absolutely gorgeous villa, in a beautiful rural and picturesque location. The villa is remote so you need a car but still only 10 mins away from Tavira which is a charming riverside town. Air conditioning in each room is an amazing luxury that made our stay so much more comfortable than other villa holidays in the region. The pool is superb and our children absolutely loved it and the gardens around are well maintained adding to the environment. Finally, check in was fantastic, very friendly and professional and gave us great recommendations for getting the most from our holiday. It was a wonderful stay!

We keep coming back!

We have stayed at this beautiful villa for the last three years. Really a home from home. Very well equipped kitchen, clean airy rooms and comfortable beds. The villa ‘s gardens are well tended and secluded. Quaint village within walking distance of villa. We ate at the Bar/restaurant in the village and restaurant just outside the village. The village shop was closed one day so we used the local Cooperative for the first time. It sold a lot of basic requirements including beer and wine! Would recommend Barrrill beach, lovely sandy beach, bit of a walk from car park but there is a little train to use. The communications with Kerry and her Agents was first class as always. We will be returning.

Lovely quiet rural villa

We had a fab time, was a stunning villa in a quiet rural location. The owner was very helpful and responsive - we felt would have been good to be able to message the property management team rather than having to phone them (but were always responsive and helpful) The couple of restaurants and shops within walking distance are quite small, so really need a car to get about. Overall was a lovely villa and we had a lovely time.

Luxury Retreat

A glorious week of sun in this beautiful villa. Rural and peaceful the villa is spacious and very well equipped. The great weather encouraged everyone to make full use of the beautiful gardens and excellent pool. Communication with the owner was simple, quick and helpful. Nice, modern house with all amenities

A couple of problems in the week we stayed. but nothing major, both reported and noted, one resolved quickly. Also, and not the owners fault but unless you are a Dog Lover, you need to be aware of incessant local dogs barking 24/7.

Second Visit

This is the second year running we have stayed in this lovely villa. Last year one of our group had to cancel at the last moment. So we decided to return this year. She was very impressed with the standard of the villa and the well-tended garden. We like the village with its bar/restaurant and shop. We walked into the village for an evening meal feeling very safe, there is street lighting all the way. Something of a novelty to one of our party. We also ate at Mercearia da Aldeia just out of the village but within walking distance of the villa. Once again the communications with Kerry and her Agents were very good. If only the weather had been a little better especially as there was a heatwave at home! Hope to return some time as Eastern Algarve is our favourite holiday destination.

Beautiful views, quiet location, clean modern house.

The house was exceptionally clean on our arrival. The view from the property is stunning, day and night. Kitchen fully kitted out with all you could need. Great sized pool and beautiful grounds. We felt very safe and secure behind the electric gates. Aircon worked a treat in the bedrooms at night. Great location for exploring the south coast!

Santao Estavao Stay

The process of booking the villa was easy. Communicated with Kerry’s Agents via email was simple enough. The villa is in an ideal location if you want to check out of the rat race and just relax. You have everything on site to cook and clean with (coming home with 2 days of dirty clothes to clean after 15 days away is a godsend). You have the ability to take the sun all day as pool area faces south. Or you can shade on the veranda. To visit anywhere you need hire car as it is in the country side. Air con is quiet enough not too disturb sleep and keeps cool in the evening. We all loved the stay and didn’t really want to come back!

Clogged Sewage

The property, house and garden are very good. However, the only bathroom in the ground floor, serving 2 bedrooms had a clogged loo, resulting from "clogged up" sewage system. The situation was only solved 5 days after us checking in. Needless to say, that this has upset our holidays.

Lovely villa

The villa was one of the best we has ever stayed in. Kerry promptly answered a couple of our initial queries about the villa. It was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we need. The gardens were lovely with fruit trees and herbs. The pool was well maintain. We were a party of females and felt safe and secure in the property. The only downside was that there were no sun parasols. Apart from this everything was prefect. We hope to return next year.

Heerlijk huis!

Heerlijk huis met alles erop en eraan. Fijn zwembad, prima bedden en een zeer complete keuken. Bij aankomst bleek een van de airco’s kapot, maar deze is redelijk snel gerepareerd. Wij zijn hier 2 weken geweest en na een week werden onze bedden verschoond. Superfijn!

Wonderful stay

Amazing place with all (and more) we could think of. Lovely place, fully furnished and complete for an unforgettable days. The scent of nature, flowers, birds sounds, sky full of stars will not be forgotten. We stayed for 40 nights and we didn’t regret. Owners and rental agency always available, friendly and fast to feedback/reply. Location is on a rural area, 10/15/20 minutes by car from nice beaches, 10 minutes by car from big supermarkets, near by good restaurants. Car is needed, but you will appreciated as we step aside from the crowded places in 10 minutes. Congrats to Kerry and Phil for such a lovely place.

An amazing experience

An amazing house that allow us an amazing experience, exploring all of the five senses: the sound of the silence make us forget the buzzy of Algarve in August, we can smell the aromatic herbs around the garden, feel hot weather and hot water of the pool, taste the perfect gastronomic plates near the village and see the beautiful landscape through the windows! A superb holiday location. Most definitely worthy of return visits

The booking process and communication with the owner and agency were faultless throughout...and the property - just ‘wow’. Set in an ideal rural location, the villa exceeded all of my expectations - very clean, homely, spacious and well maintained pool and gardens - herbs, fruit trees and even a few rabbits enjoying the space. The owner has equipped the villa with all the essentials that make it a home from home, so my family and I settled in very quickly. The spacious villa provided options to either bask in the sunshine by the pool and garden, or rest in the shade of the lounge areas inside or out - perfect for a break from the midday sun and a daily gathering spot for family lunches. The property was well suited to our children (18months and above) - a number of toys were even provided.....the beautiful pool had much more appeal so we only spotted these at the end of our stay! The villa is situated only a few minutes from the nearest village, typical Portuguese restaurant and convenience store and just a 10 minute drive into Tavira - a beautiful, unspoilt and authentic town- with a great number of shops, bars and restaurants offering excellent choice of food and local wines. The beaches too are all beautiful and worthy of a visit - only a short drive. My only disappointment is to not have booked the villa for an extra few weeks, but we’re certain of a return visit - just debating whether to tell all of our friends and family about this villa - or to keep this beautiful gem to ourselves :) ....... ....-but Kerry, we’ll of course spread the word and hope others have as enjoyable a holiday and memories that we have made. My name is Kerry and together with my husband, Phil, we purchased a piece of land and built our own dream house in the Algarve. Both Phil and I are professional people. Phil has his own retail business and has been in business over thirty years. Myself, I am an HR Director. We live on a farm on the outskirts of Manchester and have four children and seven beautiful grandchildren.

the clean beaches and the Portuguese people and their love of food, good wines and more importantly family life.

Phil and I spend several months a year in the Algarve, work permitting and so we can also advise of great restaurants and places to visit but we have made sure our house is one we will want to go and live in one day - its our home from home so if you decide this is for you for your holiday we are sure you will love it as much as we do.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Why this property? - Well we couldn't find a property that we liked in the right location and we wanted to be near Tavira. Santo Estevao is one of the most popular areas in the Eastern Algarve and so close to the town giving you a peaceful location and easy access to lots of fab restaurants and beaches. Once we decided we wanted to be there then there was little option for us but to design and build our own house in the way we wanted. Having the peace and quiet while also being able to walk to local amenities or reach a town easily was important to us for holidays and Santo Estevao was just right for us.

After looking at hundreds of websites and villas we finally settled on a design and were lucky enough to find just the right piece of land where we could build the house but also have a nice garden and pool and plenty of privacy

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I particularly love the peace and quiet and listening to the sound of the crickets. We have rabbits and partridges and our own orchard of almonds and olives. I am also growing lemons, oranges, apricots, plums, peaches, pomegranates and various other fruit trees. It is rare to have this along with a sea view and also close to amenities.

The pool has all day sunshine as do our gardens and sunbathing areas but we also have plenty of shade for either resting or dining on the terrace with excellent views over to Tavira and the beaches

We are in a short ride from several long white sandy beaches, all award winning and great for adults or children
