In the morning, you may be lucky enough to see dolphins along the pier. Throughout the day, observe osprey and egrets diving for fish into the turquoise blue water while pelicans casually glide by the patio. Enjoy watching the tour boats go by on their way to and from fishing, diving, snorkeling, island hopping, parasailing or a sunset cruise. • Nightly rate is for up to 2 people when renting a 1 Bedroom.
• Additional persons are $50 per night per person. No additional charge for first child ages 12 and under.

PAYMENT/CANCELLATION POLICY (JANUARY 4th – DECEMBER 20th):
• A deposit equal to 50% plus tax is required at the time of booking.
• Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
• Full refund if cancelled 15+ days prior to arrival date.
• 50% refund if cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival date.
• No refund if cancelled within 2 days prior to arrival date.

PAYMENT/CANCELLATION POLICY (DECEMBER 21st - JANUARY 3rd):
• A deposit equal to 50% plus tax is required at the time of booking.
• Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
• Full refund if canceled 30+ days prior to arrival date.
• There are no refunds for cancellations 29 days or fewer prior to arrival date.
• There are no refunds for no shows, late arrival or early departure including reasons such as medical emergencies, airline delays, strikes, or weather.
• 7 Night minimum stay required during this holiday timeframe.
• Travel insurance is encouraged.
• Check-in time: 3:00 pm. Check-out time: 11:00 am.

Grand Caribe Property Management Limited manages the daily operations of
the resort equipped with onsite personnel to assist with your resort itinerary. As
an added protection to you the traveler, the Grand Caribe reservations
department will send you an additional confirmation within 48 hours of you
booking your reservation. This confirmation will contain important information
such as your reservation confirmation number, breakdown of charges, and
details on transportation service from the San Pedro Airport to the resort. You
must receive this confirmation. If you do not, please contact the resort directly via the Grand Caribe website.

Please be advised that Grand Caribe has a Check-In Policy to include a US $250 incidental deposit. The deposit will be applied toward room charges and refunded upon check-out if no charges/damages apply.

- Where is Grand Caribe? Grand Caribe is located on Ambergris Caye, the largest island and primary tourist destination in Belize. San Pedro is the only town on the island and our resort is only 2 miles North of San Pedro (a 10 minute golf cart ride).
- What lanaguage is spoken in Belize? The official language of Belize is English. Spanish, Garifuna, Creole, and various Mayan dialects are also spoken.
- What is the currency rate of exchange? The Belize dollar exchange rate is US $1 = BZ $2. Most establishments can change money in small amounts. US dollars are widely accepted if not damaged (written on or torn); US coins are not.
- Does Grand Caribe accept credit cards? Yes, Grand Caribe accepts VISA, Mastercard or Discover.
- What kind of electricity is used in Belize? All outlets are 110 volts and 60 hertz, the same as that used in the USA.
- Is Belize drinking water safe? Grand Caribe has it’s own, purified water source and while many find it safe to drink from the tap or refrigerator dispensers (w/charcoal filters), we encourage our guests to drink only bottled water. We provide complimentary purified bottled water in our personal condo.
- What is Belize's weather like? There are generally two seasons in Belize; Winter Season which is mild and relatively dry and Summer Season which is warmer with more humidity. The official rainy season is June through November. Temperatures on Ambergris Caye are much milder than those on mainland Belize... in the low to mid 80's during the day and high 70's in the evenings. Perfect!
- Are there bugs/mosquitoes in Belize? Yes, Belize is a tropical location. Fortunately, the breezes on Ambergris Caye help to keep them at bay! Sand flies, or noseeums are tiny creatures that bite like mosquitos and may become bothersome with little to no breeze. We recommend traveling with insect repellant.
- What airport do I fly into when traveling to Belize? International guests arriving to Belize will fly into the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) located on the mainland Belize.
- How do I get to the resort? You may take a local 15-minute flight or 90-minute water taxi to San Pedro. Grand Caribe does not offer complimentary transfers to and from the resort but can reserve all transfer arrangements for you.
- Once at Grand Caribe, how do I get around? Golf carts are the most popular means of transportation and can be a great way to explore the island. (Rental cars are not available on the island.) Grand Caribe offers 4 and 6-seat golf cart rentals.
- Does Grand Caribe have a beach? Grand Caribe has one of the nicest beaches on the island offering 800ft of beachfront that is manicured daily!
- Can Grand Caribe provision our condo with food and drink items? Yes, our onsite grocery/convenience store - The Beach Basket can provision your condo with everything you need. Visit their online store to make your order.
- Is there air conditioning at Grand Caribe? Yes, each condo at Grand Caribe has central air and is fully air-conditioned throughout. Additionally, there are ceiling fans in all bedrooms as well as in the common living areas.
- Is there internet access? Yes, Grand Caribe offers complimentary wireless Internet access inside each condo as well as Wi-Fi hot spots located close to the reception and pool areas. We have a complimentary business desk located in the lobby that is available during front desk operating hours.
- Can I book tours/activities in advance? Yes, Belize and Ambergris Caye feature a wealth of fun and intersting places to see and things to do. Grand Caribe is committed to booking guests' with the best-qualified and licensed guides in the country. Grand Caribe is happy to answer questions and assist you in pre-booking tours, excursions or spa treatments prior to your stay.
- In which time zone is Belize located? Belize operates on Central Standard Time (CST), i.e., Chicago. However, Belize does not observe daylight savings; meaning there is no time change in the summer months. During those months Belize operates on Mountain Standard Time (MST), i.e., Denver.
