Perfect Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this condo many times over the years. We love the location. The condo needs need some TLC in the shower and bathroom, paint, etc. The carpet in the bedroom is stained. There were plates in the cupboards that had food on them. The sofa also could use a good cleaning. Having said all this, we would probably stay here again due to the location. Hopefully the owners will decide to do these minor updates.

Needs some work

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place looks as pictured, it needs some updates. There is 4 codes needed to get through doors they give you 1 in the email. The bed & pullout couch need new mattresses NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. I need a massage for my back after that mattress. The couches need to be cleaned, they are stained, the rugs need to be cleaned. No blanket for pullout couch, upon request they said they would bring one never showed up with it, 6 towels are GIVEN wont drop off more upon request, no beach towels in the unit. The price point was too high for the way it was worn out. If they did some small updates I would give it a 5 since the location and amenities of the place were awesome!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental property is NOT worth the price. It barely had the basic necessities. Vacation Haven was non-communicative and never returned my calls even though voice and text messages were left requesting a return call. I’ve booked with Vacation Haven for many years in the past and by far this property was the WORSE and anyone who rents it deserves a refund because it was not worth the price for the bare minimum necessities and the condition and the location of the property. I was VERY UNSATISFIED!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo complex was great...good location and beach access. The unit we stayed in (4473) needed work/upgrading. Walls were scuffed, paint peeling especially on doors, bedroom carpet stained, chair and ottoman in living room dirty and /or stained., no pantry area in kitchen for food storage. The unit was expensive for a one bedroom with very little differential cost from our family members with a 2 bedroom (ie $400 difference). The kitchen appliances were very nice!

Bedroom carpet is stained, mattress was hard plus I woke up one morning with bug bites. The wind blew in under the outside entrance door and would howl non stop when the wind was strong. It could be a nice unit with some improvements.

Nice location and property

Nice location and property. Beach access is great. Property has some chairs, umbrella to borrow for the beach. The heated pool and jacuzzi were great to have in November. Love the views from every window and two balconies. We had an issue and the friendly management company reacted immediately and the issue was resolved within hours. Very impressed with them. Thank you

Simply Beautiful

We have been coming to Florida the same time every year for the last ten years. We have stayed at the Sandestin Resort before. Always beautiful facilities and the golf courses are amazing. This VRBO accommodation was perfect! I mean it was clean, comfortable and charming! We travel a lot and I do watch movies late in the evening so…I always bring my FireStick. I do suggest if you too are a late owl bring one with you. The internet here was amazing! We ate out a lot but we also dined in too. Many thanks to My Vacation Haven for making this trip amazing!!!

Great experience at Westwinds condo

This was our first time in Destin and we will definitely return. The condo was as described and photographed and was perfect for my husband and I. It had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay and the view from the balcony was breathtaking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay through Vacation Haven, and we will continue booking with them for years to come. This unit was better than advertised and one of the cleanest we’ve attended. VH has increased their accommodations, providing more convenience items than they previously did (e.g. pre packaged cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.). We wouldn’t book through anyone else.

Family Vacation June 18-22

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only complaint was that we had one bathroom, and the toilet was acting "funny," then, on June 20, the toilet overflowed. We tried several attempts of plunging with no luck. This happened around 2:45 a.m. We had to dress and go downstairs to use the restroom during the rest of the night. So we contacted the number on the refrigerator for assistance. The people said they would send someone. They didn't show up to fix it until around 1:00 p.m.. The maintenance people on site came and looked at it before My Vacation Haven sent someone. My family was very disappointed on how this was handled.

Relaxation Trip

Our daughter got married just down the beach in one of the beautiful homes on the beach and my husband and I moved just down the beach to this condo for some R&R before heading back to Nashville. Everything was a described and will look forward to our next visit.

Vac Stay

When we arrived our door key would not work had to sit outside because we had all of our stuff on carts and wait for maintenance to come let us in. Second day we noticed there was MOLD on the ceiling in the bedroom. When I went to wash clothes the washer door had mold in it. The shower head water would barely come out. I guess the only good sides was our beach view.

Mom/daughter birthday trip

The property itself is very nice. Beautiful view, nice pool area. Comfortable bed. As advertised! Convenient to everything. Only negatives were 1. No full length mirror 2. We weren’t able to watch Netflix (even our own acct). But the positives outweighed the negatives. We had a great time! :)

The only problem we had was with the door lock not always opening. It usually took several tries to get in the room each time. Door handle was very finicky.

This is a beautiful condo. Very comfortable and tasteful furnishings and so clean! Views were amazing - both beachfront and resort/golf course sides. Very spacious for two of us. Pool was so nice and there was a pool bar on site serving drinks and sandwiches. Unit was equipped with comfortable beach chairs and umbrella and loungers were also available for a price from the beach service company on our beach. Tram service was available to take us around resort. Shops and restaurants at Baytowne Wharf were great, especially RumRunners Piano Bar. Great fish sandwiches at Marina. The only minor inconvenience was a snafu with the access code emailed to us. We couldn’t get in unit at check in and had a hard time connecting with the rental agency, creating a bit of unnecessary anxiety. But once that was resolved, no issues. We highly recommend this lovely place

Clean condo. Nicely furnished. On the beach.

The condo was just want we hoped for as my wife and spent the week at the beach. The beach chairs and umbrella was an added benefit. We enjoyed both decks- the first overlooking the beach and the second overlooking the golf course. The pool was perfect. We had a hiccup getting into the condo. However, the rental company stayed fully engaged and found a solution. The condo could use a few blankets and a better frying pan. However, we were pleased with the condo.
