The neighborhood

The town of Pollença is located in the north of Mallorca, in the foothills of the beautiful Tramuntana mountains. It is one of the oldest in Mallorca and has spectacular landscapes such as Formentor, the San Vicente Creek, the Ternelles Valley, the King's Castle or the “Puig de Maria” monastery.

Inside the town there are very interesting places to visit and admire, such as Calvary, the municipal painting museum, the cloister of Santo Domingo, where the famous international music festivals are celebrated, the Roman bridge, interesting churches and buildings or the cosmopolitan Plaza Major with countless restaurants and bars.

Pollença is rich in old festive events and long tradition. "La Patrona" with its spectacular simulation of "Moors and Christians", - the second busiest party in the Balearic Islands-, that of San Antonio with its famous climb to the pine, the procession of the "Devallament" in Holy Week, the traditional fairs and the well-known international music festivals in the cloister of Santo Domingo.
