Lovely home and really nice owners

Birthday Fun!!!

Fun was had by all at this fabulous VRBO. Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed cocktails on the front deck with a great view of the lake. Enjoyed a very gratifying meal made on the grill provided and had a fun game night in the beautiful sunroom We will all definitely be back to this beautiful place.

Great for large groups

The place was nice. Lots of rooms/beds available for large groups. We enjoyed being right across from the lake and watching the ice fishermen out there and also enjoyed a great fish fry at the bar a few doors down.

This is a beautiful property!

We so enjoyed our girls weekend in this beautiful spacious home. The 3 seasons room was our favorite spot to hang out. This place would be perfect for family gatherings. Home was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, check in and out was easy. Highly recommend!

Everything we needed

Our large family really enjoyed all the space in this home - both inside and out. Everything was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed, the king-sized beds were very comfortable, and we loved sitting out on the deck - it all worked out perfectly for us.

Wonderful Home!

This home was as advertised. The owners live next door and were helpful with any questions we had. The layout is great and we enjoyed the 3 season room each night after coming in from outside. We enjoyed our time at your home and would definitely come back again!

Great family weekend on the Lake!

This was our second year renting this house. it is clean, comfortable and spacious! Great for a family weekend. The front deck is amazing to have your coffee on as well as large family dinners. Hosts are near by and very responsive. We'll be back next year!!!

A Great Vacation

Our family had a great week at this wonderful lake house. Bill and Mary were so helpful and considerate in accommodating us and in making the visit easier for our daughter who is disabled. The area is beautiful with lots of fun things to do. We hope we can make this trip again in the next couple of years. Thanks so much to the Grimms.

Great house on a great lake

Our extended familiy stay was really wonderful. The house was very clean and we all noticed how friendly the instructions/guidelines were, you could tell the hosts really cared about you having an awesome stay. The distance to the lake from the pictured looked like a concern, but it felt much closer & easier to access than a lot of other Wisconsin lakes with 80 stairs to get up & down. The young kids enjoyed swimming by the dock and our family used the relaxing chairs on the dock more than anything else during our stay. We will definitely be coming back next summer!

Perfect lakeside home

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house was immaculate and the lake beautiful. There is a sand beach with a dock and pristine water. The house allowed for cooking meals with a wonderful spacious outdoor eating space. Lots of green space around the house for outdoor activities. Everything perfectly manicured.

Lake Paradise

An incredible house mere feet away from the lake. The house had all the amenities including an additional fridge and a dock to utilize and rent a pontoon for the day from Uncle Ed. The deck and outdoor area are huge and perfect to sit out at night or during the day and grill. We will be back someday.

Perfect Weekend Getaway with Family

We had a great time in Powers Lake! This house was perfect. It is everything that is advertised. Very clean, well appointed and the beds are super comfortable. The front porch is amazing... we had my whole family over (over 20 people!!!) for dinner and there was plenty of space. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We'll be back!!

Awesome house with everything you need.

This is our second time staying at this property with our group of friends ( 10 people). This house is perfect for a large group. There is plenty of room indoors and out for everyone to gather and relax. The views from the front deck to the lake are amazing. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are very nice, accommodating and timely with all communication. We will definitely rent this property again.

Perfect May vacation

The house is better than in the photos . Everything is clean , all the essentials are there . The sunroom was the best room in the house we spent most of our time in there plenty of space and natural light . And the very large deck looking at the lake was just amazing . Bill and Mary are great hosts, they responded to our very minor problem promptly . I have already recommended this property to my friend .

This place is amazing

I can’t wait to stay here again! It is perfectly located for a getaway from Chicago. So clean so much room and they supply everything except your food and drink. We loved sitting on the outdoor deck and when it got a bit colder at night to go inside their sunroom right off the deck with screens. My kids loved the seating on the pier. Mary and Bill were so welcoming and available if we had any questions. We had 13 in our group and everyone loved it. We can’t wait to book again next year.

What a Week on Powers Lake!

First and foremost, the house is exactly as presented. Great location, spacious and you really don’t want for anything. We had both daughters and families join us - ages 4 months to 6 years (boys) and two 2 year old girls. Plenty of room for kids, toys, parents and grand parents! The small beach is excellent - bottom off the beach is flat and clean - kids had no issues with wading or being in the warm water with parents. A great dock allowed us to tie up our pontoon rental all week (From Uncle Ed’s on the lake) and you really can’t be on the lake without getting out onto the water! A great house and a great week - we would highly recommend.

Mom's 75th Birthday Celebration

We rented this beautiful home to celebrate with 15 of our family members for our Mom's bday. The home is conveniently located right across from Powers Lake. With a private pier the owners let you use. There were 5 very spacious bedrooms and a very nice sunroom that has enough space for everyone. The house was stocked with everything you need. The yard and front porch were nice with plenty of space. We also rented a boat and a wave runner from Uncle Ed's 262-295-5253 at the owner's suggestion. It is close to many antique shops and Lake Geneva for day trips. We really enjoyed ourselves at this rental. We all had a great time and we would not hesitate to rent here again.

Nice Clean home

I must start off by mentioning this gracious host allowed us to move our initial stay from last year to this year because most our group caught Covid a week before our departure in 2021. Great place…actually looks better than the pictures….unforgettable sunrise and sunset . It was well stocked with essentials. Everyone said their beds were super comfortable! Wi-Fi was kinda off and on…I called the number listed for assistance and didn’t get a response, but it was Christmas Day 🤷🏽‍♀️. They have notes all over pretty much addressing any problem you may have. Overall great stay

Great Property! Great Lake! Great Family Vacation!

Our extended family had an amazing time at this property! There was plenty of space for multiple family units to come together for a great vacation. The house was very clean and well kept. The owners were very responsive to any needs or questions we had, and very accommodating for parking multiple vehicles in the driveway, as well as multiple boats at their dock. The front yard was spacious and allowed for family game nights. The highlight of the property, however, was the extremely large front deck that butted up against an incredibly spacious four seasons porch!! The lake was great!! With a no-wake rule from sundown to 10:00am, it allowed the fisherman in the group to get their morning fishing in, prior to reconnecting with family for the great recreational time and tubing on the pontoon. Our family won't hesitate with booking this property again!!

Great house and great owner

My family was very comfortable at the lake house. It met all of our expectations. Every thing is first class and the property and beach are well maintained. The lake front is sandy and gently slopes to deeper water. The water is very clear with no algae blooms. The grandchildren, ages 2 thru 11, loved the beach and water. Bill and his wife Mary live next door. This was a great benefit. Both were there to answer questions, provide insight to the surrounding area and help with any issues associated with the house. I believe one issue was remedied very quickly only because we had direct access to Bill and Mary. I was concerned about the docking of my fishing boat which I discussed with Bill. Bill purchased and installed two boat bumpers which satisfied my concerns Would highly recommend this lake house to any family wishing to have a great family vacation!
