Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Use trash bins to discard of any rubbish. Lock both front and side door locks. Take any trash out to front of road if you check out on a Sat or Sun.
Please wash any dirty dishes and leave in dish strainer. This is a lake house cottage w/oa dishwasher. Our cleaner would GREATLY appreciate you. Scraping food off dishes of strangers is a hard ask.
Place any dirty towels or washcloths in designated hamper. DO NOT strip beds.. our lovely cleaners will do that for you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy retreat. There were 4 of us and quite roomy, 2 full baths and 5 beds. We walked to Linn Pier and did the lakeshore path each direction. We did have to drive into town. Our best meal was at Lakelawn lodge and our favorite activity was the Lake Geneva Safari. Thanks for sharing your cozy retreat.

The house was very well stocked with household supplies, towels, toilet paper, dishes, coffee, etc. and very well organized, with every drawer, door, remote, light switch labeled. The lake was just less than a mile walk, but I would suggest using some of the local subdivisions to walk there, to keep off of the main road. The living room couch was great for socializing and extremely comfortable. This was the perfect find for our ladies summer trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was spotless, very comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the fireplace made the experience even more special.What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality from Chris. He was incredibly friendly, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay, making sure everything was perfect. The house in Lake Geneva was about perfect for our family of five adults for a long weekend getaway. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are well set up with really nice showers. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room for all 5 of us to cook and enjoy meals together. Our hosts were responsive and answered our questions pretty quickly.

We had a great Labor Day weekend at the cottage! The property is a nice location for walking to the shore path. We enjoyed sitting by the fire table on the cool mornings and evenings. So nice to be able to bring our golden retriever along. The kitchen is nicely set up with a coffee station as well. We loved our stay!

Very clean & very nice place. The outdoor patio area was very cozy with outdoor lights, gas firepit and comfortable furniture. Beds were comfortable, linens, shampoo/conditioner, body soap provided. Only 10 minutes from downtown Lake Geneva. The only thing missing was an ice maker, so bring ice. Overall, wonderful stay!

Located in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from Lake Geneva. Kitchen well equipped. TV and HVAC worked. Owners were very communicative and let us know well in advance the entry codes, address, etc. Three of us are CPAP users so electrical outlets near the beds are important to us. Two of the three bedrooms had convenient outlets. King bed has a soft mattress (my brother liked that) and has a bank of lights overhead for reading in bed. House has a nice big porch and outdoor sitting area that normally we would have used but we hit a bad weather week. Overall a nice place.

Chris was a great host. He was quick to answer questions and very friendly. The house was beautiful and very clean. The house was well supplied with things such as tea, plastic cups, pens, etc. Anything that we would need, we knew we would find it somewhere. It felt like home. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. There are plenty of towels too. The outside area had lots of lights, so you could hang out there at night. It is in a great area with friendly neighbors. The lake was a little farther than expected, but we just drove there and parked then walked around the lake for a bit. We had a great time!

This was a great place to stay while for a get away from chicago over the summer!While it's 15ish minutes from Lake Geneva, it's easy to go and get dinner but also nice to get away from the crowds. The host was responsive and kind though we didn't need a lot during our stay.The kitchen was a great area to feed several teenage boys who eat a lot and often!The porch was my favorite spot especially at night to relax and enjoy the evening. I highly recommend this spot! Thanks Chris!
