Cottage has an open concept design, 3 bdrm, 2 bath, 9' high whitewash pine ceilings, stone fireplace, solid surface countertops and screened in deck. Located on 1.4 acres, you are only feet from a beautiful private sandy beach; if you enjoy nature , you only minutes from Greenwich National Park and the village of St.Peters. For the golfers, you are only 25km to Links of Crowbush Cove and only 30km to Brudenell/Dunderave golf courses.

Amazing Ocean Views !!!

My wife and I had an amazing time at this home. the beach was incredible and there were no people on it. Great location and amazing ocean views. Would definitely recommend this to our friends.

September Getaway

The house was lovely!!! Great location, perfect sea views and convenient to cycling and walking trails. Derrell and Andrea were very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend the beach house and plan to go back at some point.

Great retreat in Cable Head

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wavecrest. The property is as described. Access to the private beach was quick and easy, though we did experience some stinky seaweed that washed up on the beach. The cottage is modern and well appointed with everything you might need. Amazing water views, beautiful sunsets, peaceful.

Gorgeous ocean view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wavecrest cottage. The property is right on the ocean and the views are fabulous. The cottage is very well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There are a variety of deck areas allowing either sun or shade as desired throughout the day. We enjoyed evenings around the fire pit and star gazing. Communications with Derryl were seamless and we felt very welcomed. The information package/instructions for guests was comprehensive. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

A Piece of Heaven at Cable Head East

On a scale of l to 10, Wavecrest gets a 12, at least. Everything was exactly as shown, only better. High-end furnishings, stunning décor, exquisite attention to detail, sunsets and sea views to melt your heart. The kitchen, though compact, was the best-equipped I’ve ever seen. My son and two daughters loved their time at Wavecrest and our Canadian relatives were equally delighted to visit us in such a beautiful setting. Host Derryl was available immediately for any questions we had regarding appliances and his mom who lives nearby brought us blueberry muffins – twice! In short, we all had a glorious time and would love to go back, As my son put it, “You can’t do better.”

Mary and her family were scheduled to stay with us for 3 weeks, unfortunately Hurricane Fiona shortened their stay rather abruptly. The fortunate part of the hurricane was that it provided me the opportunity to meet Mary, who is one of the most loveliest people I have ever met. I hope to once again see Mary and her family stay with us, but if I am not that fortunate and you have the opportunityto host her, I would highly recommend you accept her as your guest!

Awesome!

We all loved this house! It was perfect for our 5 night stay with two couples. Special touches by the host Derryl, were providing all the food to make s’mores by the fire pit in the back yard. Also, they provided slippers for the 4 of us, which we all used! Derryl was very organized and had a notebook with all of the appliances and electronics as well as a notebook with things to do in PEI. The house was well appointed with nice furnishings and decore. The house was on the ocean and we enjoyed our daily walks. The sunsets over the water were to die for!!! We enjoyed the screened in porch and used the gas grill . Derryl responded to my many messages right away! Great communications with him. Would highly recommend this VRBO house!! Susan

Susan and Barry were excellent guests and great communicators. Prior to leaving Susan reached to see if there was anything additionally could be done on their part, which was over and above our standard check-out requests. The cottage was left in exceptional condition and once again communication from Susan was greatly appreciated. Great week at Wavecrest Cottage

My wife and I and another couple rented this cottage for a staycation on PEI. I had done an extensive search for a cottage on the east end of PEI that was on the beach. This place did not disappoint. There is a nice mowed walking path that leads to a beautiful sandy beach and is literally about 150m from the deck of the cottage. That place is very well decorated and appointed and has everything you would think you’d need for a week of cooking, bbq if and lounging. Derryl, the host, was immediate in his responses to the few questions I had prior to our arrival and information about the cottage and area was plentiful once we checked in. The views of PEI’s north shore are as good as you’ll get anywhere (trust me I’m and Islander and working in the Tourism industry for over 20 years). The place has an awesome FirePro that we used several times. Nothing like a campfire on a stary night! We highly recommend this place and will undoubtedly go back.

Beautiful Wavecrest Cottage

Beautiful ocean view, lovely beach walking, easy travel to surrounding communities. Loved the red stone fire pit. Complete with beach blankets & s’mores fixings left by host Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Will pass on this little nugget to others for sure!

BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY ON THE SHORES OF P.E.I.

WAVECREST COTTAGE was one of the most spectacular places we've ever stayed in PEI. We had a 3 bedroom for two families, our daughter/husband and 2 small children and my husband and myself. It was totally clean, spacious, roomy and tastefully decorated. My granddaughter ( 3 years old) noted how their bedroom was everything sun- related . . . hence, a theme in each of the rooms - - sun, surf and sand! We were on the water- a five minute walk to the beach; at night, there was a lit path for us if we wanted to see the sunset, thanks to the owner, Derryl. And may I say, Derryl was always there to answer questions; we met him later in the day of our arrival. His place on the shore was lovely. One could hear the surf morning, noon or night. The sun could be seen rising to our east and could be seen setting each night to the west, just by sitting outside on the deck or indoors in the living room. The modern kitchen was well equipped to handle whatever you needed to make; there was a lot of outdoor space consisting of large and small decks and in one deck, the window sections were enclosed with netting to ward off any bugs, flies, etc. The wagon underneath the house provided us with an easy walk to the beach, carrying our necessities, which was great. We have made over 20 visits to PEI and stayed at many cottages/homes and we were certainly impressed and happy with this choice!! There was one other cottage in the area, and after that, we had pure privacy and quietness. We will return!! Thank you Derryl Elisa G.
