17 miles north of Ocean Shores, on a secluded street with about a dozen homes, this home is available to rent three different ways: the entire home, the upper duplex or the lower duplex. This listing is for the UPPER DUPLEX, a fully self contained two bedroom unit.

At the Blue Pearl, the view is amazing! You can enjoy it from the comfort of your deck, living room, kitchen and front bedroom. Walk merely 60 steps to the sandy beach using the maintained beach access trail directly in front of the home!

The amazing view is available at a small price … there are stairs … about 40 into the upper level. They are sturdy and wide. This property would not be appropriate for someone who has difficulty walking up or down stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible.

Inside you will find a well-stocked kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals including complimentary spices, coffee and tea, and beverage condiments as well as cleaning supplies. There is a crock pot, electric fry pan and electric griddle. Linens, towels and paper products are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. There are two bedrooms in the upper duplex with queen beds, tvs and DVD players. In the living room, there is a Smart TV connected to cable service with a DVD player. There is a wide variety of DVD movies. We also have a wireless speaker! We have a variety of games, puzzles and books for all ages! There is a full size briquette BBQ on the upper deck. There are also two clamming guns and a bucket stored in the broom closet by the front bedroom.

Free WIFI access is included. Please be sure to adjust your phone settings to enable WIFI calling before you leave home. Some carriers require you do this from their network. Cell phone service is sketchy along the coast! This property does not have a landline. The wifi name is 52Sunset. The password is bluepearl.

When you are ready to relax, there is an enclosed hot tub where you can also enjoy the view! The hot tub is shared by guests in both the upper and lower units. Please be respectful and follow the posted rules.

There is also a fire pit with rustic seating on the property. Firewood is available for sale in several locations nearby. You are welcome to use any wood stacked near the fire pit.

Your pre-approved dogs are welcome, with a limit of two. Pet fee applies. Dogs must be friendly and under 40 pounds. Exceptions on a case by case basis. Doggy bags are provided; please pick up and dispose of any waste your dog leaves in the yard, on the private road or on the beach. Barking dogs are not allowed. If you would not allow your dog to run off leash in a dog park due to temperament, this is not the place for you. There are many friendly dogs off leash in the area and on the beach who may approach your dog on leash.

This is a non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not allowed inside the home, on the decks & stairs or on the property.

Quiet getaway in your own private beach

The best experience we have had renting through VBRO yet! Janet was extremely understanding and communicative through the whole process. The rental was cozy and quiet. We got to experience a coastal storm. One day, we spotted a sea lion in the water directly in front of the rental!

The view of the ocean was beautiful. There was a lovely path from the house to the beach which we used often. The beach was uncrowded and provided many treasures. The house was smaller than expected but nicely decorated. A few dirty pans were found which gave the cleanliness score only a three. We would book again.

What a view

The view from this property was amazing. Access to the beach was very easy. Pay attention to the listings mention of 40 steps. This could be an issue for some, but the result is the amazing view. There is a great deck and a fully stocked kitchen, pots and pans And spices.

Amazing Views and Easy Beach Access

We had a wonderful stay in the upper unit of the Blue Pearl over Memorial Day weekend. From the moment you walk in and take in the amazing view, you know you’re on vacation. We took advantage of the easy access to the beach (literally a short path to the beach from the front of the unit) and walked miles in each direction enjoying the spectacular coastline. The location was perfect for us…we explored Olympic National Park and northern beaches, experiencing all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. Thank you to the homeowners for sharing their special place. The overview of the property provided by the homeowners accurately captures all this rental offers. We were pleased with our stay!

The unit was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Janet was really great at promptly responding to any questions we had. The view of the water is spectacular which we expected but a nice surprise was that the Blue Pearl is located on a quiet dead end street. We were aware there are 40 stair steps from the street up to the unit. What we didn’t fully appreciate is that’s a lot of steps when loading and unloading all your gear like groceries, a cooler, suit cases etc. It won’t stop us from returning tho for as long as our old knees hang in there!

Lovely beach location

We loved our stay here! We spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the view. The beach was easy to get to, and there were wild blackberries growing on the path. The condo isn't far from Seabrook, where we had several excellent meals and were able to get some groceries. Would stay here again! (One note: the condo does allow dogs, so if you are allergic this might not be the place for you)

Very Private & Peaceful!

Our family of 4 (kids aged 10 & 12) just had a wonderful week in the upper unit. Gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean from the main living areas, one of the bedrooms & the large deck. Very easy access to the beach, just a few steps in front to a secluded pathway that my kids referred to as a "secret garden walk". Miles and miles of sandy beaches to explore & beachcomb. All of the amenities were thought of in the kitchen. All we needed to do was bring the food and preparation & cooking were a breeze. Cable tv, lots of dvds & games are available for the evenings or if poor weather keeps you in. Very private, clean and peaceful! Our family can't wait to come back!

We had such a wonderful time staying here. Very inviting environment with everything you could ever need for you kids or dog. I loved all of the game and puzzles choices along with the library of movies to choose from. The trail across from the rental made accessing the beach so easy. We will definitely be coming back 😊
