Ocean Village

Ocean Village is a nice community with its own beach & 9-hole par 3 golf course. We were disappointed to find the main pool and tiki bar and pickleball courts closed for the 2nd year in-a-row.

Nice but…

We love Ocean Village. This condo’s furniture is dark and dated, but ok. We did not use the sofa bed so cannot rate that. The bathroom showers have no bars and the doors were perhaps installed backwards so you can’t easily turn the water on before getting in. It would be nice to have a screen on the back glass sliding doors. Good location within OV. Great having 2 full baths. We enjoyed our stay! We wish OV had recycling.

Man at the gate had a hard time getting us set up with a car pass.

Needs some work! Painting for one thing. Furniture was very uncomfortable. Dining chairs were on wheels we did not like. Towel rod in bedroom bath was very crooked. The only thing we used it for was a hand towel. Rod looked like it was ready to fall off the wall. I brought my own clothes drying rack. Shower in bathroom was very slippery when wet and no hand assistance bars. We did have a nice time just these issues we did not care for.

Clean complex, alot to do, easy check in and check out procedure. Easy access to beach and pool.

Everyone is extremely friendly. Pool is huge and clean. The condo is a little older, but has been updated inside. It was clean. Plenty of towels, pans, beach chairs, etc. Easy access to pool and beach. Complex is great. Never have to leave if you don't want to. Short drive to other areas if you want to explore. Navy Seals museum is close by and is a must see. Great tennis, golf and pickleball games. It's also quiet and relaxing!
