With a long turnaround driveway, there’s plenty of parking for cars, boats, and trailers. The large, flat yard is perfect for yard games, outdoor activities, and family fun.

The Space

The home offers 4 spacious bedrooms spaced apart for maximum privacy, a Murphy bed, and a sofa sleeper, with up to 8 beds total—plenty of room for families, friends, fishing trips, reunions, and getaways.

There are 2.5 bathrooms, including a charming clawfoot soaking tub and a spacious walk-in shower.

The large deck overlooking the lake is ideal for morning coffee, outdoor dining, relaxing in the sunshine, or enjoying an evening drink while taking in the views.

Outside, the expansive yard provides plenty of space for games and activities, while the fire pit is the perfect place to gather for s’mores, stories, and stargazing.

Guests can also enjoy the included kayaks and tubes for exploring the shoreline or simply relaxing on the water.

Autumn & Winter at Timberline Lakeside

Lake Wissota is beautiful in every season, but fall brings a special kind of magic. Take a hike through the surrounding woods as the landscape comes alive with brilliant reds, oranges, and golds, or grab a kayak and paddle along the shoreline surrounded by
spectacular autumn color. Lake Wissota State Park offers miles of scenic trails through woods, prairie, and along the lake, making it easy to enjoy the crisp fall air and changing landscape.

When winter arrives, the lake becomes a completely different playground. Bundle up for a peaceful walk or snowshoe, enjoy cross-country skiing on the groomed trails at Lake Wissota State Park, or try your hand at ice fishing on the frozen lake. When
ice conditions are safe, you can even explore the lake and venture toward the island. Nearby are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. After a day outdoors, return to Timberline Lakeside, warm up with a gas fireplace, and enjoy the quiet beauty of winter
on the lake.

The Lake

Timberline Lakeside sits on a beautiful bay directly across from a small sandy beach island that’s easy to reach by swimming, kayak, or paddleboard. It’s a great spot for swimming, paddling, fishing, sipping a beverage, floating, or building sandcastles with
the kids and grandkids.

Want to explore more of Lake Wissota? A 17-foot Starcraft deck boat that accommodates up to 12 passengers is available for rent during your stay. The boat is easy to operate and gives you the freedom to explore the lake, visit a farther island, dock
