Check in was a breeze and Irka was extremely helpful. She responded in a timely manner, and she even went above and beyond to help me with a personal issue. We are looking forward to more future stays here. I must say, the pictures do not do this place justice, it's amazing!

Love this house

We've been staying at this place for the past 3-4 years and always enjoy our time. The house is very spacious, the neighborhood and beach are very peaceful. The beach is steps aways from the house which is great because we can got swim comfortably.

Perfect family vacation

Irka, was very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. The hose is perfect for a family getaway. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and the mountains. The place is quiet and very tranquil. I would definitely stay there on our next vacation to Ensenada.

beautiful retreat

perfect house to getaway from the city life, we enjoyed the ocean views, kids played in the sand, walked to the beach, plenty of parking, kitchen was well stocked with appliances made it easy to cook daily if we wanted to. we did come across a couples spider in one of the bedrooms, but other than that, we all enjoyed the stay. we would def stay here again!

Beach vacation

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here. We absolutely love it! The house is gorgeous! Right on the beach with a big beachfront patio. Also has a very spacious back yard area with comfortable outside seating and a bbq grill. The master bedroom is great with a king size bed and great view! There is plenty of space for family and friends! We are looking forward to our next stay here.

Hidden gem in Ensenada

This home was the perfect place to gather with several families to ring in the new year. It was comfortable - even has central heat - even in late December. The large windows along the back side of the house made the ocean views enjoyable from everywhere in the house. It was so relaxing! Having the beach right there made for built in entertainment for our tweens and teens. Highly recommend this home!

Xmas Getaway 2023

My family and I stayed here at this property with my niece and her family, & our cousin & her hubby. Not to mention 3 dogs. It was perfect!!! All you see from the house is beach front. So beautiful to wake up to. Plenty of room for all of us. We can’t wait to come back. And we will. Irka was very nice and lived in the house up front. Very responsive when we lost power on Christmas Day. She was able to get someone onsite to get the issue fixed right away. We just spent the day on the front patio and at the beach. 😊 Thank you so much for the cranberry salad. It was delicious.

Beach house

The house is located right on the beach with all amenities , you just need to bring your food, the house has a full kitchen with big and new refrigerator, kitchen with all you need for cooking AC, heater and hot water, near the house is a horse rental , also is 17 minutes drive away for La Bufadora.

This house is in an excellent area for enjoying the beach front! The house is fully equipped and even nicer than the pictures reflect. Some needed screedoor replacements and a leak in the small bathroom but other than that, it was alovely stay that was very much needed! The!

Nice location

A great location, literally steps from the beach! Pretty nice to be able to wake up, enjoy your breakfast or coffee literally with your toes in the sand. Our favorite part of our stay was the fantastic beachfront location. Was really nice to have a bonfire out in the front patio one evening. Another bonus was having a dryer in the home. Home was definitely showing signs that it is a popular place to stay. Could use some attention to the smaller details, particularly with cleaning/dusting (and replacement of shower curtain in master bath). Straightforward communication with owner, quick response time. More than likely somewhere in the small print that we didn’t see, but…you need to pay in full, even if it is a month before you arrive. Owner was willing to be flexible though. Overall, ok experience.

Enchanting

We had such a wonderful time at Storybook. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The house was very clean upon arrival. The house is right on the sand and very easily accessible to the beach. We all loved the beautiful views from the inside of the house when we would walk in or wake up. The house is in a private neighborhood with security. There was plenty of parking on the property. An added bonus was the interior patio. It had a lot of seating and a place for barbecuing. Irla, was very responsive, helpful and super accommodating! We can't wait to book again and I highly recommend this house.

Fantastic get away

Beautiful spot! My group enjoyed this space for relaxing, cooking, walking beach side and mountain side, birding, and just sitting around to enjoy the views. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook wonderful meals. This location is close to the grocery, market, wine country, fishing, and more. Thank you, we will back!

I have lived in the Punta Banda area for 27 years.

Was born in Germany to Ukrainian parents, and brought up in Buffalo NY. My travels took me to live for a while in Miami where I got a dream job of working on a cruise ship. The Caribbean Islands were just amazing and this job was the highlight of my life. After meeting a couple from Oklahoma on the ship, I decided to give Oklahoma a try. Met my first husband and had a son. Met my second husband and he was the one who convinced me to come to Ensenada area. So I left OK after 20 years and moved to Baja. I just love the area, the community, the views and the peace. I found a nice niche here. I own a property management company, a rental and real estate business and am the Artistic Director of our community theatre The Gertrude Pearlman Theatre which has given me the opportunity to act in over 25 plays and direct over 22. It's a good life!!!

I was at the house contacted by owner to sell. My sister was visiting and went with me. When I left with a listing agreement, she convinced me this was the house i had on my vision board at home. A U shaped design where you can see water thru the house to the other side. It sure was. So i completed my dream. The sellers were the Storey Family. Hence the mis spelling of "story" So I call this my Storeybook Hacienda. It was a storybook on how I got to own this wonderful property.

Beauty: Everyone who walks thru the front doors just sighs. 4 huge windows, floor to ceiling plus a glass in alcove to sip morning coffee and watch the dolphins playing in the surf. The courtyard is special since it is a large entertaining/gathering area with pergola with a table for 6, a bar and 2 couches. With the placement of windows front and back you can still see the ocean even in the courtyard.
