Apartment was great, very nice. There was 3 beds we only used one but it was very comfortable. Host communicated very quickly and was very helpful. Only downfall was the upstairs tenants jumped and ran all night till about 3am so being up late and checking out at 10am was not fun, but Tom was great and apartment was clean. If you can ignore jumping perfect location to everything.
The apartment was clean and well stocked. Had several plates and coffee cups for use. We didn't cook so I don't know about other supplies. Had a coffee maker too! I would say that this is in apartment, not a condo. Area was okay. Would stay here again if I was passing through.
Although it was one night so that my partner and I could have a romantic night it was more than imagine. Thanks Tom

Wouldn’t return
Access to amenities was good but actual location felt unsafe. Condo was very dirty and dated, sofa was broken-owner was aware per previous reviews. Would not recommend or return.
The only negative comment I have about this stay was that there happened to be hair all over the sheets & pillows on every bed. This alludes to the idea that the sheets had not been properly changed/washed since the last stay.
No complaints! The host was very responsive and friendly. Everything was laid out in the instructions for us. The place was clean. The kitchen had all the basics needed to prepare a simple dinner.
We had 6 people stay and we all had plenty of room. The condo is in an apartment complex but no one bothered us and everyone we interacted with was nice.
Like the host disclaimed in the description and we were expecting- we did notice a cigarette smell that was the strongest in the singular bedroom but it did not bother us much and it wasn’t as bad in the rest of the condo.
Definitely recommend if your group needs a lowkey spot to hangout while you’re in town as long as you can mind your business and the smell doesn’t bother you.

Certainly not high end
Neighborhood and exterior a little shaky.
I Texted the property manager about a toilet that would not flush. He responded immediately and told me how to "manage" the toilet with a bucket of water.
Furniture in need of repair and TV hard to control.

Overnight Stay
VRBO app didn’t work so we reached out to the owner via text. They want us to use the app after we had already explaining the app didn’t work; this delayed receiving the Check-in info.
The apartment location is a little run down and there is only 1 spot to park. As soon as we entered the apartment it smelled as if it was a marijuana processing plant; the smell was overwhelming. Went to use glasses from the kitchen and the first two in the cabinet were dirty. Later that night we returned to go to bed and one couple found a lady’s eyelash on the sheets under the covers.
The ladies used towels to clean makeup off their face, the makeup is water soluble, and we were charged $30 for hand towels.
My sister and I came down to watch our nephew play collegiate baseball, Accompanied by our daughters, one young adult and the other 5. After a horrendous drive down in pouring rain, we welcomed what we would call home for the weekend. Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a welcoming, nicely decorated space w/ open sitting area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area.
The more time we spent there, there were a few things that would have made our stay a little better… easily fixable.. my skin itched when I sat in the sofa. Covered it w/ the blanket from the bedroom. Could have used more silverware and pot n pan options. Not sure about plates, we bought paper ones. There was also a stench of cigarette smoke.
The bed I slept in was very comfortable, as was my daughters, although hers squeaked w/ every breath which we found more comical than annoying. My sister and niece slept in the room next to us and their headboard banged against the wall every time they moved. Oddly, there was a sewing pin in the headboard of my bed that my sister came upon w/ her hand. Thankfully it wasn’t my 5 years old niece.
Not too sure about the area. My adult daughter is a runner and I wasn’t comfortable allowing to run the complex by herself so we found a girls’ college with a track that wasn’t too far.
In fairness, I did not contact the host since our stay was short.
Ultimately, it served its purpose. Next time I venture down to NC, I may explore other options.

Stay Somewhere Else!
My family and I needed a place to stay with our 2 small dogs for the night,12-10-22. My son was playing for his high school football team's state championship at NC State Stadium, which is why we picked this VRBO, for its' location. I have never used VRBO before, but I know others who have and have had great experiences. I picked this condo not only for its location but also because it had great reviews and the pictures of the place looked nice enough. We spent a significant amount for the night, and it included multiple fees along with a cleaning fee (comparable to a night at a very nice hotel). We traveled several hours that day and because of time only had a moment to drop off our dogs and then we had to leave to make it to the game in time. While I was getting the dogs settled, my husband sat on the couch and noticed the arm was broken and pulled away from the couch. I immediately informed the owner and he said he was aware of it. That was the 1st thing we noticed but had to rush out and could not inspect it further, unfortunately, until later that evening around 11:30pm. After looking the place over I was appalled at how ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING the condo was. There were cobwebs on the walls that I could tell had been there a while because of the dirt and dust that had accumulated on them. The carpet was nasty in the bedrooms and had duct tape on the floor as a transition. There was food splatter on the kitchen walls, and to top it off, a DIRTY WASHCOLTH hanging in the shower. After seeing the filth of the place and the couch being broken, my family and I no longer felt safe to stay there so we left and drove back home that same night. I reached out to the owner as we were leaving around 11:45 pm, he downplayed the issues and gave me a very small refund which was significantly inadequate compared to the cost of our stay. He was also not friendly or helpful at all and tried to place the blame on me for not having told him sooner. I have filed a formal complaint with VRBO and hope that my experience will keep you from making the same mistake I made by booking here. And as for location, there are some shady individuals walking around there at night and the property grounds are VERY run down. We had to dodge SEVERAL piles of dog poop on the sidewalk upon walking up to the condo. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER SEEN AND IT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE TO OPERERATE AS A VACATION RENTAL IN THAT CONDITION!! STAY AT A HOTEL!

Not a guest we would like to host again! Please look to our other reviews for a better perspective . We always aim to provide the best value and service for our guests in a great Raleigh location and it is unfortunate that we were not able to meet her expectation.

Overall stay wasn’t HORRIBLE but if you have one once of “bougieness” this is not the property for you. It did its job for us as we weren’t there much during the day. We essentially slept and showered because we were there for work. Biggest concern was the bathroom, it has holes in the wall, sink was clogged and shower curtains were molding. The upstairs neighbors didn’t seem to sleep EVER, they made noise every night u til 1:00-2:00am every night we were there. If you don’t plan to spend significant amount of time in the space it’s good for the price, but this is not a spot for a quiet romantic getaway by any means. At the end of the day it served its purpose for us.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. We were warned about the smoke smell in the listing and while we didn’t think it would be an issue, we did have to leave a little early, but that is on us. The renter was very up front about it in the listing which we appreciated! Over all it is a very nice place.

Stinking and dirty
As soon as we got there the smell of smoke was overwhelming. After being there for two days we figured out it was a neighbor smoking. Broken couch, falling kitchen floor, lightbulbs out or flashing non-stop, dirty floors, decor was really bad, cobwebs throughout, other people's food in the refrigerator and toiletries in the shower.
This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this property and I've always had a great experience! It is clean and pleasant. Host is very helpful and responsive. I am in the area for business several times a year and always try to book one of their properties. :)
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. Definitely felt like my home away from home. My family and I didn’t even want to leave at the end of our stay because we had gotten so comfortable. We were able to still watch all of our favorite shows. The family room was nice and spacious so we all fit comfortably. The house was freshly cleaned when we got there. My only complaint is all the dishes were dirty, but other than that no complaints. Overall definitely a nice stay.
Had originally rented a 2 bedroom and there was an issue in which we had to switch location and was offered a three bedroom at the same price. Was nervous as I’ve heard of scams starting this way but everything ended up great. Myself and two friends had to come in from PA for a seminar and it was just ten minutes away and we had a great time!
