Walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. (Trevi, Colosseum, Campio Di Forio, Pantheon, Piazza Narvona etc..) Great coffee shop with amazing pastries right outside the door. Nearby restaurants were great, not touristy. Unit located just on the edge of the Jewish Ghetto.
Others have stated, but worth repeating..there are a lot of stairs to get to this apartment. Slow process if you have a lot of luggage for longer stays. Micaela met us for the check in, she was prompt, so helpful and nice. A few minor details(most are quick fixes): We only used the lower level bedroom, but did go look at the loft bedroom. Note -you do have to hunch over a bit up there and it requires you step over a beam to get in and out of the bed. The lower level bedroom is a step down to a metal grate. We just laid a towel on the grate to make it comfortable for bare feet at night. TV did not work during our stay, but we were not really there to watch TV. Many of the light bulbs were burned out so evening lighting was a bit difficult. Batteries in clocks were all dead, but we used our cell phones anyway. (we were only there a few nights, so no big deal, we let Micaela know at check out.) Bath and Kitchen amenities were just right. Plenty of towels, coffee cups etc.. Living room furniture is a bit worn and stained. Bed and bedding was fine.
Having said all this, we would definitely stay here again. Paolo was very easy and responsive to all communications. Arrivederci
