This apartment was absolutely perfect for a stay in Rome. It was comfortable and so well located. Lucia was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and making our stay memorable.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Apartment was immaculate, perfect location. Both beds very comfortable. Only word of caution, one bedroom has very narrow and spiraled staircase leading up and down so those with mobility issues should be aware. Otherwise, loved it!

Lucia is a wonderful host. She greeted us on arrival, showed us the apartment and the fabulous location including a passageway/gate that lands you right in Campo di Fiori. It is a wonderful location - walkable to just about everything. It is air conditioned and near many incredible restaurants/shops and sites. We highly recommend Lucia and her property.

Great location, nice apartment that worked reasonably well for two couples. One of the bedrooms is a loft over the main living space, so it can be a little awkward to use the kitchen or living room if someone is sleeping. The other bedroom is small and is accessed via a narrow wooden spiral stairway that creaks. This bedroom also has a window over the interior courtyard which can be noisy as others come and go. In general though, we had a very enjoyable stay

Hi Stephen, your review surprises me a bit! The bedroom overlooking the living room is located on the first floor, and it does overlook the living room, but it's clearly visible in the photos. Buildings in Rome's oldest historic center have unique features. The staircase to the second bedroom, which is small, has an authentic capital on the corner, and a vaulted ceiling. These apartments have a special atmosphere that you have to be able to capture. I can say that you stayed in a place declared a World Heritage Site in 1980, and it was a pleasure to have you, your wife, and your friends as my guests. Thank you so much

This was by far my best experience in Rome. Lucia was outstanding with communication and helpful arranging transportation for us. The location is the best. Easy walks to many of the major attractions. The neighborhood has many restaurants and shops. The apartment was perfect for my family and well stocked. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Lucia is a fabulous host and is very responsive to any inquiry. The location of the property is phenomenal and close to all attractions. The air conditioning was a bonus due to the especially unseasonable hot weather. Lucia arranged various drivers from the cruise port and to the airport and the experience made us feel special.I would highly recommend this special apartment to all my friends and anyone interested in staying in the heart of the City. Lucia was a great host! The apartment is very clean and is in a perfect location. There were so many great restaurants and shops within a very short walk. Lucia was a fantastic host, she clearly cares about making the whole process as smooth as possible. She arrange our airport transfer and greeted us at the door where she gave us a tour along with vast amounts of information. The many little touches prove that she cares just as much about the experience. A lovely array of goodies, UK electrical adapters, a second set of keys, water and guide books to name a few. We felt the apartment could not have been better placed for our 4 days in Rome. It seemed like all the major attractions were around us in different directions and there must be 100 restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. The apartment itself is full of character and is totally unique. The VRBO images are exactly how the apartment is and we felt incredibly safe. The apartment was genuinely spotless and we would highly recommend it.

Lucia is a wonderful and attentive host who exceeded all expectations. Before our arrival, she helped arrange transportation from the train station to the apartment and for our departure to the airport. Upon greeting us, Lucia gave a thorough tour of the apartment, showing us where to dispose of recycling and refuse, where to find extra towels and linens, how to operate the air conditioning system and television, and what was available in the kitchen. She also provided welcoming gifts such as water, tea, and snacks. The apartment was spotless, with bedrooms located upstairs. One bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase.The location is ideal for exploring Rome, with major attractions easily accessible. Just steps from the front door is an exceptional bakery—expect a queue, but it's well worth it. Excellent restaurants are within a short walk, and Lucia has guidebooks available in case you forget yours. The area and apartment feel very secure.We would gladly stay at Lucia’s apartment again when visiting Rome.
