L'appartement est au premier étage d'un immeuble en 1600 pour une promenade d'une minute de la Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere et du cœur à 10 minutes de la Piazza Campo de 'Fiori. This spacious apartment in the heart of the action made a great vantage point from which to navigate all parts of Rome. It gave us a real feel for life and dining in Trastevere. Family owned restaurants were steps away. Michele met us and gave us a list of places for necessities. With 5 adults and two weeks of travel behind us, the washer/dryer was well-used. We regrouped each morning and evening around the large kitchen table and cups of espresso and vino. Made wonderful memories. The Russells.

We stayed at this apartment last year for two weeks with our adult daughter and liked it so much we stayed again this year for three weeks. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Very functional layout of the apartment provides two separate entries and a bathroom for each bedroom. The apartment has all the amenities we needed and the washer and dryer was a great help. The location was perfect for us being close to everything including restaurants, bars, pastry and gelato shops, little markets and a Conad supermarket close by. All the major tourist attractions we wanted to see were within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace. The owner, Michele, was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Very pleased with the apartment. Very comfortable and a fully equipped kitchen. Our host was great waiting for us and did a review of all the features. Great location, multiple restaurants within a few steps. Would recommend to anyone that is looking at being of the middle of the action and walking distance from most tourist sites.

Really nice apartment in a historic building in a historic neighborhood. Great climate control. Comfortable beds and furniture. The street is alive every day with nice restaurants and shops. Street is lively at night with dinners. A fun place to stay.

Beautiful home - ideal location

Nicely appointed apartment, with a nice large family room to decompress after running the streets of Rome. Great A/C to cool off as well. Location is in the heart of Trastevere - making it a breeze to find whatever you need.

Excellent stay in a lively neighborhood. Our three boys (17, 18, and 21) enjoyed the restaurants, shopping, and late night piazza time, just downstairs from the apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked, a grocery and many restaurants were close by, and the a/c was outstanding during the hot August temps. Great communication too.

Fun but busy location

Host was very kind. We wished the handbook had more info in it, i.e. TV instructions, split heater instructions, etc. but the place was EXTREMELY comfortable and located near some fantastic restaurants. We also have been taking VRBOs for years and this was the first place that didn’t provide any hand soap at all. The liquid soap container in the kitchen was dry and the tiny sliver of hand soap was used. But we cleaned it and made do. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and thank the host for sharing his charming home.

The Perfect Place

This is the place to stay in Trastevere. The apartment is spacious and has a perfect layout which the rooms can be closed off for privacy. The location is fantastic! You can enjoy the neighborhood restaurants and it’s close to many piazza’s that you can’t miss. We would definitely stay here again.

Holiday Stay in Rome

We had a great one week stay in Michele’s Trastevere flat, which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great for getting to markets, bakeries, cafes, and all that one might need for a short or longer stay. The apartment was pleasant to hang out in between city outings, and was well equipped if you would like to prepare meals in the nicely set up kitchen. Overall a nice place to anchor your visit to Rome for a family.
