Cedar Gable - Riley outfitter

A hand-built cedar log home affectionately designed to accommodate a family get together, business meetings or retreats. This house is at the junction of the White & Buffalo Rivers and has direct walk-down access to the White River in Buffalo City, AR.

The space:

This exceptional house is capable of sleeping 10 guests in separate beds or 5 couples plus singles. Over 2000 SF of living space. The downstairs of this White River cabin is complete with a queen-sized master suite with a full bath featuring a walk-in shower and garden tub. The second downstairs bedroom has a full-size bed. Also a second full bath with tub & shower unit. The upstairs third bedroom is furnished with a double bed & bunks. Also upstairs you will find loft sleeping areas with futon, daybed, and closets. Upstairs 3/4 bathroom. Also, this cabin has a unique top floor “dormer deck” walkouts for river gazing.

Large kitchen with bar top & seating for 4, dining table for 6 and dining-ware for 10. Also furnished with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, and cooking utensils. The covered front & back porches, charcoal grill, fire pit & outdoor chairs allow everyone a way to enjoy their time on the banks of the White River.

Guest access:

The entire home is for your enjoyment while you visit with us here at Rileys Outfitter. Guests have access to the resort property including the DOCK, the gardening & farm areas, the islands on the river & local hikes.

If you are looking to get out on the water and explore what the White and Buffalo River have to offer, check out our Outfitter River Services like world-class guided trout fishing, Jon boat rentals, kayak & canoe float trips, and shuttles.

Other things to note:

There is WiFi available at Cedar Gables. There is no cell service...you can text and call through WiFi texting but it can be very slow.. There is also a landline available in this home. Just up the mountain road about a mile, you can easily make calls as needed.
Guests are welcome to use the landline phone number at the home to call or receive calls. Outstanding!

Several of us get together for USMC Birthday and Veterans Day every year, and we tend to fly fish the White River. This was our first visit with the Riley’s and the end of our search for the perfect place. Their service was nothing short of outstanding and attentive. They dealt with all of our crew and got us on a float that we enjoyed more than the fishing itself. We’ll be going back here from now on!

Awesome Stay

Really a great place. The boat we rented was waiting for us at the dock each morning. There is a hut at the dock with bait, tackle, etc. for sale (honor system, which exemplified what this place is about) as well as everything for cleaning your catch. The property is on a beautiful nook where the White and Buffalo meet - and you can easily jump back and forth. Cedar Gables cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. I can’t say enough good things about Riley’s and our time there.

Wonderful and Relaxing

The cabin is beautiful. Kept very clean and comfy. The best part is porch sitting on the river. If you are looking to relax, this is the place. The hosts are amazing. The Riley family makes the stay even more comfortable. The family is extremely knowledgeable about the area and do everything they can to make your stay fun. I would highly recommend this cabin and Riley’s Outfitters. 😃
