We rented this cabin for guys fly‑fishing trip, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The location is hard to beat, right on the White River with a public boat ramp only about a mile away, which made getting on the water very easy.There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, and the back porch was our favorite hangout spot. The view of the river is amazing, and we loved relaxing out there after a day of fishing. The weather got pretty cool while we were there. And even though the cabin has great central heat and air, we enjoyed using the wood stove to ease the chill after coming off the river.We also made good use of the charcoal grill when we weren’t out on the water.Overall, the cabin was perfect for our needs, and we’d happily stay here again.

Nice quiet spot on the White. Easy boat access nearby. Coffee on the deck while watching the fog lift was perfect. Golden hour was beautiful. Owner was there if we needed. Would recommend!

We had a good time but we were caught off guard by the 3rd bedroom only being accessible by going through another bedroom. This did not work for our group so my wife and I and our 2 kids slept on the pullout couch and rollaway bed in the living room.

White River Weekend Trip

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was not fancy and it was adequately stocked. We would definitely stay here again. Just a few notes for future renters:1. All bedrooms are upstairs and all bathrooms are downstairs.2. The kitchen is stocked with all you need. 3. The view is beautiful. You can not really fish or sit right by the water but its a good, safe walk down to it. 4. The boat ramp is close to property and nice.5. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.

Family fishing trip

The location was great and the water was beautiful. You can sit on the backporch and enjoy the great view.The house was nice and it just the right size for a family of six. The only problem's were the livingroom furniture needs updated, as there are stains on the couch and the bank was overgrown making it hard to fish.We were able to borrow the owners weedeater, which was nice, but it really should have been mowed.

Unfortunate

I have never left a bad review before, that changes now. There are 2 beds that are suitable for humans in this property, not 5 as the add states. The “cook-house” or whatever it is, is a death trap. Toilet ran the whole time. They knew it was running because they turned the water off to it instead of replacing the $7 flapper. Dishes in cabinet were filthy Black Walnut tree dropped bombs on a metal roof every 15min or so. Not sure why this tree hasn’t been taken out or at least warn people not to park under it. One roll of TP for a house that supposedly sleeps 7. If there are other options, stay there.
