2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Cabin with Lots of Parking for Boat, Snow Mobile and ATV's

The Den is a 1200 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, 2-bath plus Loft Cabin that sleeps up to 8. Cabin just completed after rebuilding from the 2020 Wildfire. Cabin is within walking distance to the Lake, Marina, Food Carts and Store. Room to park recreational vehicle or trailer (Boat, Snow Mobile, 4x4, etc.). This home offers at-home comforts and on-site entertainment. Sip your morning coffee from the porch before walking to Detroit Lake Marina where you can moor your boat and enjoy lake life at its finest! Detroit Marina has boats and other personal watercrafts for rent. This is a great place to come back to after a long day of recreating. A great place to just relax and enjoy your time away from the big city. The open living area is stocked with family games, puzzles, TV, and DVD player. Our guests are welcome and encouraged to build a fire (firewood included), roast marshmallows and make memories with family and friends while enjoying the fresh mountain air. Short distance to seek outdoor adventures (Fishing, Boating, Hiking, OHV Trails, Snow Mobile, Snow Boarding/Skiing, Rock Climbing, Golfing, etc.).

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Strict Outdoor Quiet Time 10p.m. to 7 a.m.
If you are approved to bring your dog. Dog must at all times be on a leash. Dogs are not welcome to be on the furniture. Pick up Dog Poop.
8 person maximum for lodging. Visitors are allowed. Special circumstances allow more than 8 for a $25 per person fee.

Awesome place! Very friendly hostess was easy to contact and very helpful, even allowed us to alter our stay dates due to health emergency. The place is very luxurious and comfortable and great location (great boat parking). Love the woodwork! Had plenty of recreation for kids and adults alike, was very well stocked (nice towels!). No complaints whatsoever, will stay again next summer!

Loved the property. Host was very friendly and had reached out to make sure everything was working out for my stay and to answer any questions I had. The Den is perfectly situated off the hwy, yet close enough to be able to go anywhere. Would definitely recommend staying here. Many many amenities. This little cabin was very well equipped with kitchen utensils and implements and outdoor recreation equipment and bedding. It was clean and we especially appreciated the A/C during our visit. We would happily stay there again. The fire pit was a special attraction for the kids. It was smores and smoreos every night.

The Perfect Lake Getaway!

We loved this little cabin! It’s small but mighty. Everything you need to be comfortable and close to fun. We had a long fun day on the lake then retreated to the firepit area for s’mores and laughs. It’s located in a very friendly community, lots of waves and hellos from an impressive fleet of ATV’s 😎 We can’t wait to come back!

We are friends who enjoy the small community of Detroit, we welcome you to share in the beauty and to support our small town when you are visiting. We purchased The Den in September of 2019. The Den was originally an A-Frame Cabin which was a novelty. In September 2020 we lost The Den to the Lions Head Wildfire. We were devastated and took the journey along with many in our community to navigate the process of rebuilding. We are now fortunate and honored to present The New Den at Detroit Lake. Our goal with the Cabin is to provide lodging opportunities to guests year-round with all the amenities. We want our guests to feel this is their home away from home while visiting with family and/or friends. Detroit is a perfect location to stay with a short drive for recreational activities such as snowmobiling, snow shoeing, skiing, winter or summer ATV trails and boating in the summer. When we came across this property, we had a vision of having a home away from home and a place to be with friends and family. It is important to us to ensure that our guests have the ability to recreate away from home with all the amenities and the comfort of your own space that you can call home for a few days; this is more than you would get in a hotel.
