Cozy, peaceful, and secluded yet close enough to have short travels to wonderful parks and attractions. The cabin had everything we needed for a refreshing stay and we set up for comfort. The cabin had great curtains that kept it nice and dark for sleeping in. We enjoyed slow mornings on the screened in patio, with plenty of trails on the property for the dog to explore. We didn't even get to all of it just around the property but what we did see was fantastic. The pond was nice and clear, enjoyed a little kayaking. Took a trek to Memorial Park and the Secrest Arboretum in the area. The Ugly Duck had fantastic food and service (we ordered take home after eating). And of course Grandpa's Cheese House is nearby. Excellent stay, very nice hosts.
