Let me start off by saying the house is beautiful and spacious w/ a gorgeous view to lake Chapala, the hosts was attentive to all my texts however, from the minute we got there the house did not feel clean (very, very dusty, kitchen dirty and dusty, glassware dusty, drawers and cabinets dusty, hair and dust in the utensil holders, refrigerator dirty) this was my first complaint , the cleaning lady went a couple days later but again did not address my complaints ( only swept, mopped and washed. did not dust at all , patio doors and glass stairwell dirty and smudgy and hairs all over bathroom floors and showers ( I had to clean these the first night we got there) … the 2nd-6th day water pump would go out not giving us access to shower or use the bathrooms( had to shower/use bathroom at the subdivisions club and friends house…one bathroom would leak out dirty toilet water every time we flushed and had to be cleaned up every time so we opted not to use it, leaving us with just to toilets,,, we had scheduled tours early in the morning that had to be canceled because we couldn’t shower and didn’t make it out on time due to these basic necessities, losing our deposits on these as well… all this could of been avoided if more attention to detail was made and maintained well in advance
