Quick communication via vrbo app texting. Self checkin was easy to get the lock code info. Grounds were very nice to walk around on. Jacuzzi tub was great to relax in, especially after long bike ride at nearby trail. Enjoyed the dogs greeting us when we pulled in!
Nice little cabin set back in the woods with a pond! Loved being greeted by the animals (all friendly)! The cabin was cozy and very clean! The hosts Gatlin and Sasha was very welcoming and friendly! Would recommend!
The property is peaceful, beautiful and the perfect place to spend time relaxing. The cottage was comfortable with thoughtful touches to make our stay more enjoyable. Only disappointment was the cabin we booked did not have WiFi signal so could not watch Roku, etc. Would love to experience the outdoor movie setting if it is still offered. Spent time reading down by the pond with the ducks. The dog was so friendly & showed us the way through the nature trails. Property owners were very friendly & helpful
We loved staying here. It was peaceful, clean, and cozy. The only downside was that the wifi didn't work at all so we could not use the tv to watch movies.
We stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Getting the water temperature right took a little figuring out and the walk way up to the cabin could use a little work, but other than that the place was a wonderful little get away. Sasha is a great host and made things very simple. Definitely want to stay again sometime.
We stayed at Monarch and it was wonderful! The giant whirlpool inside helped immensely after we hiked at Devils Lake. The owners are super friendly too! Definitely gonna be coming back here!
This was a quaint place to stay while visiting the sites in the surrounding area. Breakfast offerings were delicious, the property was clean, and the area was peaceful. All interactions were done through email and there was no need to interact live with the property managers. We would go back.
My husband and I were just looking for a little weekend getaway not too far from home, and this was wonderful! The room was cozy but spacious with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. There's another room attached, but you'd never know it. In between is a small lobby area that had snacks and movies. There was nothing at all wrong with the check-in, it just may have helped to have had some sort of instruction before hand. But that's our only qualm! Would love to stay again.
We came here for a getaway for our anniversary. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I did a little fishing at the pond on the property and caught several small bass. We hiked several state parks that were closeby and soaked in the jacuzzi tub when we got back. The only thing not specified was that the barbeque grill is a shared grill for all four cabins. This wasn't a problem but if more than one cabin wants to cook out, I can see where it might be an inconvenience. It was a quiet and a beautiful area. We would definately come back here if we come to the area again.
