Beautiful home!

This home was a great place to stay while we went to all the theme parks. Clean and tidy. The couch has a broken leg, which I think I read other reviews, so I guess it's been like that for a while. The A/C was out when we arrived, but they repaired it within a day.

Lots of Cons and some Pros

Pros- 3 King Beds in 3 separate rooms, plus 2 rooms each containing a double and single bed. Nice dining area, Mortal Combat video game, room to move and play table games. Plenty of bathrooms. Nice propane grill. Beds were decently comfortable. Fabulous club house with great amenities and an awesome staff and bar tender at the Tiki Bar.Cons- dirty, cobwebs on hanging lights in kitchen, powered substances spilled all over the upstairs dresser. Several beds had no mattress pads and they were gross mattresses. Pool was in need of a good cleaning. Couch very uncomfortable for taller folks. Floors and steps very noisy when walking around. Reached out to host to see if there were additional fees for resort pool access. No replyI paid for a late checkout the day before our last day. At 1110 last day, while cooking breakfast in pajamas a man burst through the front door slamming it off the wall as he opened it, without knocking or ringing the door bell and began yelling at us saying "you need to get out! What are you still doing here?! Your checkout was 1000!" I yelled back at him to "get out" that I paid for a late checkout and he needs to contact the rental company. We aruged back and forth, waking up other family members, as he would not leave. I kept telling him to contact the rental company, while still trying to cook in pajamas. I have used Vacasa multiple times, and I have NEVER encountered this or been treated so absurdly by an employee at a rental before. I am furious!

Misleading

We checked into the property on a Wednesday and immediately saw that the pool was NOT cleaned, the filter wasn’t working and there was a dead frog in the pool. On top of the screened roof being ripped off and hanging down. I called Vacasa and they said local maintenance would be out to fix everything including the screen. Fast forward to 5 hours later, 3 more phone calls and 10:00pm. We go to bed no phone call from maintenance to tell me when this will be fixed. The next morning I woke up to spider webs in the light fixture above the table, stains or spots on the ceiling. We went to the local pool because well, ours wasn’t swimable. That afternoon returned back to find the pool clean and working but the screen still broken, which is great but didn’t sit well that people just walked into the house without a notice, what if I was alone?? Just seems weird to me. I call again and again am told someone will be out to fix it, we checked out 5 days later and it’s still broken. My daughter also left her teddy bear on the end of the bed as we left on Tuesday at 6am, heck out is not until 10am and we did not inform them we had left. So I called them after about two hours into our trip home to let them know she had left her bear. I gave them the exact description and the exact location they could find it. They then proceeded to charge me $25 to send someone to look….. I called three or four more times that day and they said they sent somebody local to try to find the bear. I would be getting a phone call from that person soon. Our trip was 11 hours total we got home at 6pm on Tuesday and I did not receive a phone call until the next day at 8 AM saying the bear was not at the house. Now keep in mind housekeeping had not even been to the house when I had made my first phone call or my second phone call. I don’t believe for a second that they even sent anybody over there and if they did, they didn’t send anybody until that evening after housekeeping had come in and more than likely got rid of the bear. This was heartbreaking for my daughter, as the spare was a gift from her grandmother, who is very ill. I will never stay at a property that is managed by. VACASA Every again.

Nice inside not so nice outside

Everything was fine with the inside of the house but if you want to enjoy the pool bug free, it’s not happening. I left a message about the screens with no reply. At the top there is an entire panel of screen just hanging open. So there were lots of leaves in the pool and bugs. Also the tvs were not connecting to the WiFi.

Great Location. OK Home

My family has stayed in Champions Gate several times in the past. The location is great and this townhome is spacious! It fit our large, extended family with plenty of room to spare! The four bathrooms were great given the number of people we had in the home. Unfortunately, unlike other townhomes we've rented in the neighborhood, the interior of this home seemed very "lived in." Very noticeable scratches on walls and furniture, lots of chipped paint throughout, mismatched bath fixtures in the same bathroom, etc. If you are looking for location and space, this home will work great for your group! If you are hoping for a touch of luxury, you should look for a more expensive rental in the area.

Perfect house

The house was perfect for my family and friends. Clean, WiFi worked great, kids loved the pools. Only issue I had was I paid to have the pool heated all days we were there and it wasn’t the first couple days. I ended up calling and it was rectified by the next morning. Definitely recommend.

Small issues

Overall the property was good. Easy access and private. Pool is very small but we didn’t have much time for swimming anyway. Our three year old did enjoy it. One upstairs and one downstairs bathroom sink was clogged and was such a nuisance to deal with. Some of the TV remotes had dead batteries and the door to the washer/dryer was off the track and impossible to put back on. Overall small issues to deal with but we would definitely reserve again.

La casa tiene una buena ubicación. Los cuartos son super cómodos. Tiene dos cuartos en la primera planta lo cual fue excelente ya que andabamos con 2 envejecientes. En general todo fue perfecto. La limpieza, comodidad y las camas muy comfortables. Volveremos pronto.

Would not recommend

The management for this house and the customer service is garbage. This trip got off to a horrible start. We arrived late due to travel delays with our airline. We arrived at the home at 11:45 pm on the day of our reservation. The code that was emailed to me was incorrect. Everyone in the group gave the code a try and followed the instructions to a T. My fiancé had the exact same keypad on his previous home so we know we were entering the code correctly. After we all gave it a try we then called customer service. I was on hold for about 20 minutes before we even got to speak to a person. Then under their instruction they “reset” for door code multiple times for us to try. Every single code didn’t unlock the door. There was a lockbox on the side with a key and the code they gave us for there was also incorrect. I was on the phone with these people for over 2 hours. At that point it was already almost 3 in the morning. MIND YOU WE TRAVELED WITH A DOG AND A NINE MONTH OLD BABY. So there we are standing outside of the house with a tired infant and a 120lb dog. After being on the phone forever they finally decided to reimburse us for a hotel. My fiancé ended up calling several hotels at almost 3 in the morning trying to find enough space for our group of 11 with a dog. Luckily, the dog we have is a service dog so we were finally able to get a hotel that would accommodate all of us on a holiday weekend. We arrived at the hotel around 3:15 am. The next day someone from maintenance finally called us and turns out customer service emailed us and gave us the wrong code. He was able to get in right away and when we arrived at the property we put in the code he gave us and it worked right away. The WiFi didn’t work for our entire stay. Someone even came to “fix” it but he couldn’t figure it out after making phone calls and resetting the router. WiFi is necessary because the cell phone reception is horrible in this area. We all have different carriers and none of our phones could even stream music. We listened to the same 30 songs for our entire holiday weekend and the kids couldn’t even access Netflix to watch a movie during our down time. House itself was nice once we were actually able to get inside the next day after our reservation. Other than that I would 100% NOT recommend because the management and customer service was not helpful at all. We spent most of our vacation trying to make up for the time we missed out on.

House was ok for the stay

The house was very roomy, we had enough space for our party of 8. The house was clean for the most part ( I’ll get into that in a bit). We had plates, silverware, pots pans, and other things needed to prepare and cook meals. The development is located close to all the parks! (20 minute drive if the traffic is moving smoothly). The pool is very small- but it works if you want to take a quick dip after spending the day at the parks or if you spent the day at the oasis club. A couple things didn’t work- one of our beds was dirty, (called Vacasa and they came out same day to take a look, repair what they could on spot and clean up the bed - other items were fixed within the next day) The only complaint I really have is that the community had garbage everywhere, there was garbage in the parking lot at the oasis club, garbage in the flower beds of the condos and homes, and garbage in the ponds behind the houses- it was disturbing to me how much garbage was all over the grounds-our neighbors were loud- and fighting- and the police were here at least 4 nights out of the 9 nights we were here. Other than the that we had a really nice stay here- would we stay at this house again- probably - if it was in a different development- or maybe if it wasn’t a townhouse-the house itself was great and Vacasa was on top of everything- so I would definitely book with Vacasa again!

Vacation Home

We enjoyed staying here, it was really spacious and comfortable. The pool is a bit small but a minute away from the town home there is a community waterpark that you can also enjoy. Also I would wash or take bedspread and bedsheets, overall we loved the location it was at 20 min away from DisneyWorld.
