Guest Access:
You will have access to all living spaces in the villa. Bikes and kayaks are included with the rental. We have a nice golf cart available for an extra fee.

Our property manager can give recommendations on ground Transfers from the airport, tours, massages at the villa, and other local activities.

The Neighborhood:
Hopkins is a very friendly Garifuna village in the Stann Creek district of Belize. It is known for its laid-back vibe, wonderful restaurants and bars, and great location as a starting point for excursions into the Sea, the jungles, or the mountains. Chefs prepare top quality meals with local seafood (caught fresh daily around Hopkins), meats, dairy, and vegetables. The property is located a short bike/car/cart ride South of the village in the Sittee Point area.

Getting Around:
Use of four bikes is included with the villa, which are a great way to explore Hopkins Village. Renting a car will allow you to explore Southern Belize at your own pace and schedule. The villa is located to the south of the village, about 2.5 miles. The resort area, with lots of great restaurants, bars, and the gym is about 1.5 miles away. Sittee River Marina and Curve bar are about a half mile, and Mango's Beachfront Restaurant is about three doors up the beach! If you don't have a car you can rent our golf cart, call a taxi, or ride the bikes.

Other Things to Note:
The water supply in our area is clean and perfectly safe to drink, however many people choose to drink bottled water throughout Belize. We have installed a reverse osmosis drinking water filter for your convenience. Bring a water bottle and refill it to reduce plastic trash!

Note for Families with Babies or Toddlers:
If you're bringing babies or toddlers along, please ensure they are wearing diapers when sitting on the couch or sleeping on the beds. If the bed linens, mattresses, or towels are severely stained or damaged due to urine or feces, a deep cleaning fee of $200 USD will be charged.
