We had an amazing girls week! The directions were easy, accessing the house was simple. The house was well equipped. The beds were comfortable, the pool was awesome - we were poolside daily! The barn was such a fun place to hang, and the property is gorgeous. Kitchen was functional and well equipped and SO organized! The house was spotless - the cleaner did an amazing job getting it ready for us. We all said we’d love to come back.

We had a fantastic time at this property! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. One of the highlights was definitely the barn—it added so much character and charm to the whole experience. The pool was perfect for relaxing and cooling off, especially on the warmer days. A unique old farmhouse with a number of indoor and enclosed outdoor rooms allowing for many spaces to lounge or hang around with family. Everything was clean and there wasn't a lack for anything (including in the kitchen). Pool, hot tub and surroundings were idyllic. We took full advantage of the barn, playing cornhole, basket ball and ping pong while listening to old cassettes. We opened up the barn walls to enjoy the scenery. The evenings were spent watching movies on various streaming services. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

No surprises here! The place was gorgeous, and exactly how it was described in the listing. Very well appointed farmhouse style lodging, that has been updated with modern amenities for a comfy stay in the country. The pool was huge, and the hot tub was perfectly situated to keep an eye on the kids while they swam. We were a group of 11, plus 4 visiting relatives, and the place still felt comfortable and spacious. The property is massive (including the bonus barn ), it goes on and on. The kids loved exploring the grounds, and we were very comfortable allowing that because of how safe the area is. Although we came prepared, the house was very well equipped with everything you need to jump start your week. We had a great time with our families, and can't thank the renter enough for a great stay!

Where to begin! This home is special. It is so, so, so beautiful, and made our friends’ weekend so magical. Joined Bach gathering!

We had a couples joined Bach hang out for the weekend and it was so much fun. The house its self has so much to do, we found ourselves using every room for board games and family style dinners! The barn out back was the highlight as we laid back, had some drinks and enjoyed all the amenities this beautiful farm house has to offer. If you have a large group that’s looking to relax and have some family fun, this is absolutely the place. 10/10! Thank you so much for having us.

A Perfect Peaceful Place for the whole family

We had a great time at this truly historic and lovely farmhouse, which had plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and 4 kids. On the first day the weather was cold and rainy, however my grandkids had lots of fun running around indoors and playing hide and seek. While the grownups were enjoying the view sitting in the well-maintained screened porch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, there was something to do for everybody, a beautiful big pool, hot tub, games in the barn and beautiful landscape around the house to walk, sit, relax and enjoy. George was very helpful and responsive! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your wonderful property !!

Beautiful Farmhouse!

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The property was charming and cozy, with plenty of space for our group of eight. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The farmhouse itself was well-maintained and had all the amenities we needed. We particularly loved spending time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views. The screened in porch was our favourite gathering spot! Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation.

Homey farm house stay

Firstly the host George was amazing. Not just regarding his property but also with advice of area things to do as well as local bakery and butcher recommendations. He communicated quickly on every request we had and made our stay ‘fun’. When you connect with George you’ll know what I mean. We had our whole family w/our children and grandchildren with us, with plenty of comfortable room for all. Also, there was something for everyone to do, from games in the barn, pool, hot tub and much more. We could all be together or spread out. Had family photos taken by Frank Myrland Photography from Orangeville who commented that property was amazing for family photos, from the house to the barn and around other areas. Thanks for giving us a great stay George!

With trails on 100 acres through the woods and along the fencerows between the fields, you can hike, mountain bike, cross country ski or snowshoe without ever leaving the property.
In summer we love to eat all our meals on the screened porch overlooking the pool, or relax by the pool with a cold drink. In winter we have lots of guests for dinner in the large farmhouse dining room and relax after in front of the fire with a mug of coffee.
