Charm of the Solognote countryside, surrounded by castles

A holiday experience at « La Fermette de Jeanne » is a bit like going back to the cosy atmosphere of great-grandmother’s cottage, but with all up-to-date equipment There is the pathway bording a vegetable garden and leading to the beaten-earth farmyard, the right place to park your car. There is also the enclosed garden where you can rest in the shade of the chestnut tree, with a view on the fields and from time to time on dears and pheasants just passing by. You can also enjoy the wood fire from the old stove in the living-room and the fireplace in the kitchen. Everyone, young and old alike, can find their place at « La Fermette », a home for families and friends. Upstairs, in the former attic transformed into 2 connecting bedrooms, beds are modular in 2 large double beds (180 x 200 cm and 160 x 190 cm) or 4 single ones ( 90x 200cm and 80 x 190) to better meet our guests’needs. In the bedroom located downstairs, the bed is double 140 x 190 cm.
« La Fermette de Jeanne » is close to the castles of Chambord, Cheverny, Villesavin, Blois and others, to the Loire river, its fauna and flora, to forests, ponds, games and vinyards. The famous Zoo of Beauval is also at a driving distance. Many interesting places to visit and activities are offered in the area.
