Disappointing

The website drew me in…a houseboat on the river in Bordeaux. Nowhere did it mention how difficult itmwasmtomget to it, and it was on the ‘wrong ‘ side of the river. Without a car you were stuck there. When we opened the door, we discovered it was not the apartment we booked. First problem. Then, we the night progressed there was outrageous noice coming from the different bars down river, plus live music. This lasted until 4 a.m. we got no sleep at all. When the sun came up we ended up leaving and got a room back in the city. I wrote to the owner and have still not gotten a reply on a well deserved refund. I feel he misrepresented this property by leaving out essential details and being so unavailable.
