Fabulous lodging in every respect!

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about this beachfront rental and it was beyond our expectations in every way! Loveable, friendly owners providing fabulous service. Beautifully designed with many ammenities and homey touches. Clean and well maintained, with unique benefits in that it's so close to the Cousteau Resort. Oh, and did I mention...? Very affordable. We highly recommend this vacation rental and are planning on returning next year! Vinaka vakalevu Martha and Arthur!

House was very clean and overall very nice

  • 4 of 5

The Navure Beach Lodge was very nice. Situated right next door to the Jean Michele Cousteau Resort, we were able to use their Dive Shop and their Dive Staff were wonderful to work with. The Lodge had 2 Spacious Bedrooms both with Adjoining Bathrooms with Showers. Plenty of Hot Water and the main Bedroom was equipped with a Air Conditioner that worked very well!! Nice big Deck out in the front where we were able to enjoy the nice Breeze and stay out of the rain. Right across the little street was the Beach, but only accessible when the Tide was down. Snorkeling was right across the street, even though we didn't get to do much due to the weather. Short drive to Savusavu town where we were able to either Eat or get food and supplies from the local stores. Washing Machine at the Lodge enabled us to wash things when necessary and then Hang them to dry on the clothes line that was situated in a Breezeway between the Main House and the Additional Bedroom. The Fijian people were amazingly nice and always had smiles on their faces. The only thing that I can complain about was the slight lack of communication between us and the owners before our arrival, but in their defense, the owners were headed to Australia to see their new Grandchild, so they were easily forgiven. Their Housekeeper showed up a couple of days after we arrived to make sure that things were in order and that any questions that we had were answered. All in All, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend the Lodge to our Friends wanting to go to Fiji!! Also, if you like Gecko's, you can sit out on the Deck at night and watch them as they feed on the bugs flying around the lights!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive review. I am so sorry, that my housekeeper was not at the house to meet you, some misunderstanding about your arrival time and unfortunate that our flight out of the country was on the same day. Thank you for booking my cottage. cheers Martha

A stunning place to stay & so quiet & relaxing !

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Navure Beach Lodge . Only 5 mins out of town , easy to get to by taxi or bus. We hired a little car for the week which was so convenient & were able to leave it at the airport when we departed.

Martha & Multi were very helpful ( thank you for the fresh fruit !)

Martha's house is gorgeous , we spent most of our time relaxing on the veranda then wandering over the road to the water to snorkel, swim or use the kayaks supplied.

Snorkeling around Split Rock was a highlight, with the abundance of colorful fish & coral.

The water was so warm & clear!

The house had everything we needed for our stay. ( inc mosquito repellent.... maybe take a little more ! )

Recommend dinner at the Captains Table & the seafood at Surf & Turf was very good !

For dessert overload Grace Road was amazing !

Thank you again Martha for having us stay , we loved our time here on your gorgeous island !

Highly Recommended !!

Comfortable place with nice amenities and great location!

  • 4 of 5

This cottage meets our needs very nicely, we have stayed here before. It’s far enough away from town to get that secluded feel to our stay but only a 10 minute drive to town for a quick grocery pick-up at the numerous modern grocery stores or for fresh fruit/vegetable shopping at the local vegetable market. The local bus also stops in front of the cottage several times a day and takes you into town. The separated bedroom suites allow us to have privacy and yet share a great vacation together as a group. Availability of kayaks at the rental also made the stay more enjoyable. The cottage is just across the small road in front and the rental affords an easy access to the water to launch the kayaks and to snorkel. And the front porch is a great spot to watch the sunsets over the water or to begin the day with that cup of coffee.

A wonderful venue for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this little house. Set in a beautiful garden and right across the road from an amazing stretch of coral coastline, we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We made use of the kayaks and enjoyed snorkelling everyday. The caretakers visited to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend this venue to other holiday makers.
