Home on Quiet Canal w/ private Dock and Gulf Access. Enjoy fishing, grilling, drinking a cold one around the firepit, the sun on the private dock or a cup of coffee on the screened front porch. Take a walk in neighborhood surrounded w/ majestic oaks & Steinhatchee river views, or walk up one block to the best restaurants and stores in the Hatch. Cozy home offers Fiber (High-Speed) Internet w/ Smart TV's in all rooms and streaming services. The perfect balance of Privacy and Nature.

Beautiful Key West Style Home on Quiet Canal in Steinhatchee, Fl. located on a GULF ACCESS tidal canal that is only a 10 minute boat ride to the Gulf. Dockage is most suitable for boats for boats that are 22ft or less and all kayaks or canoes. If you have concerns about your boat's suitability please ask prior to booking. Maneuverability is more difficult for larger boats .*Please note I can not guarantee dockage of boats if caused by a very low tide which is extremely rare or storm related event. USE OF ALL DOCKAGE IS AT THE GUESTS RISK. Please ask if you have any questions before booking.

If you need a place to park your boat, boat trailer or golf cart, no worries, there is plenty space with this private yard. The large dock has plenty of room to relax around the firepit or fish of the private dock. Dock is equipped with a Fish Cleaning Station (please no scallop cleaning because scallop shells can't be disposed in canal or garbage can). Enjoy our firepit while grilling on our charcoal grill, eating on large outside table or relaxing on the dock; or on screened porch or master room balcony overlooking the canal.

Woodys Bungalow is a Natural Paradise for Salt and Freshwater Fishing, Scalloping, Canoeing and Kayaking on the beautiful Steinhatchee River. Home is beautifully decorated with a screened porch, private balcony off of Master bedroom, Highspeed Internet (fiber), Wifi, Large Smart TV'S with Firesticks in all rooms (60" Smart TV in living room), fully equipped kitchen. Centrally located to all restaurants, marinas, grocery stores and stores. 5 minute walking distance to several popular local restaurants and hangouts.

King Master Suite boasts it's own private deck overlooking canal and has master bath with walk in shower. Queen Guest bedroom is adjacent to full bath with large shower/tub combo. Optional queen sofa bed also available in separate living area. Fully equipped kitchen for all your entertaining needs. Cozy open space living area right off of serenely decorated screened front porch (with porch swing). Large Screen Smart TV's in all rooms with access to streaming services and high speed internet (fiber).

Kitchen has electric stove top, oven, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, coffeemaker, full size refrigerator. Fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, grilling utensils, crockpot, coffee mugs and dishes/bowls/cups. Starter pack of garbage bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods and dish soap included.

This is a very well equipped home with the owners thinking of everything down to K-cup teas, coffees, different types of sweeteners, etc. Plenty of cookware and spices to go with whatever you're cooking. This was like a home away from home experience and I loved the porch swing. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night. The ONLY reason I did not give this place an excellent is because we couldn't dock our rather large boat outside. A smaller boat would have worked, but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the place is right around the corner from the main restaurants in Steinhatchee. I would definitely consider another stay at this home, Woody's place!

Quick weekend trip to Steinhatchee. The house was perfect. Nice, clean, and quiet. Everything needed was onsite. The location is great. Walking distance to Kathi's restaurant and 5 minute drive to the marinas. I hope to spend more time there in the future.

We had a great time and enjoyed the convenience of being on a canal with access to the Gulf. Scalloping was awesome as usual. This was a very comfy place to stay, had all the necessities, and the owner was very attentive during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Wonderful experience!

From Valdosta Ga. and purchased as a second home to go offshore fishing. Also enjoy fishing the river and inshore fishing along with scalloping. The home makes a great get away to relax and enjoy the many water and non water activities or simply spend time relaxing. Community does not have one stop light. I find many of the same renters coming back each year along with new ones as well. They tell me the house is always immaculate and kept freshly decorated and the location is the best. Give us a try and see how you like it.

Why they chose this property

One of the best areas in Steinhatchee and property is located only 10 minutes via boat to the Gulf (no wake ride). Yard is partially fenced in offering landscaping, private dock and floating dock to use Kayaks or Jon Boats. Private yard large enough to park your boat trailer. Dock is excellent area to relax and cook out or enjoy the firepit. There is a fish cleaning station on the dock. Home offers a large screened in porch and the master bedroom has a King size bed and a comfortable couch to relax while watching TV. Master Bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the canal with outside patio set to enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage. House is fully equipped with all amenities. High speed fiber internet with large Smart TV's in both bedrooms and living room with Firesticks and Youtube TV. Very clean, immaculate and furnished/decorated nicely.

What makes this property unique

Nature fully exposed with river, wildlife, Gulf and beautiful sunsets! Several state parks are only a few miles drive to spend the day. The small community is blessed to have a Grocery store, several convenience stores and a Dollar General. If you need a charter for any water activity, they are always available and at great rates. Also you will find many locals who are ready to clean your catch of the day, from inshore, offshore fish and scallops. There are several great landmark restaurants located within a mile of our house. Several full service marinas to launch your boat or get fuel and bait/ice. Also available are rentals for boats, Kayaks and Golf carts so you can fully enjoy your vacation. Night time is always an adventure with a couple of local hot spots usually offering live bands and/or karaoke and the location is close or on the water with outside Tiki style bars. My property is surrounded by nature that encompasses large Oak trees, Cypress trees and many other natural elements great for exploring or photography.
