An amenity not all of the condos have! AND PAPAKEA IS NOW A NO FEE RESORT!! NO DAILY FEES LIKE SOME OTHER RESORTS. Enjoy the beautiful setting with a Koi pond directly off your patio. Just steps to the ocean, pool, hot tub, bbq area, lighted tennis courts, pickle ball, shuffleboard, putting greens and all the great amenities that Papakea Resort has to offer. Located between Kapalua and Kaanapali, you are just minutes away from 72 holes of world class golf, restaurants, shops and famous Lahaina Town. Papakea is a 13 acre tropical oceanfront resort with the true aloha feeling of Maui. Also is known as one of the largest land areas with fewest number of units on any resort in Kaanapali. Papakea Resort is located at North Ka'aanapli Beach and features acres of lush landscaped grounds, fresh water koi ponds, 2 salt water swimming pools, 2 large spas, 12 gas BBQ's, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 2 lit tennis courts, complimentary concierge services and a 24-hour front desk with plenty of open parking. The condo is located within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, farmer's market, snorkel gear rental shop, gift shops and an oceanside park. Each evening, tiki torches light up the property for an exquisite Hawaiian tropical ambiance. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, turtle spotting, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and whale watching (during whale season) from this ultimate Maui property. Our condo has a fully stocked kitchen for your dining in and cooking pleasure. For your entertainment we have a 65 inch tv waiting for you in the living room and a 55 inch tv in the master. A comfy king size bed in the master and 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom, that can be converted to a king upon request. Also, the couch in the living area can be converted into a queen. For you convenience, a washer and dryer is also in the condo. The resort also offers several free exercise classes, once a week Mai Tai and Hawaiian music gathering as well as a putting tournament. We stock you with starter supplies of all the basics to help get you going for your stay. Also, beach towels and beach chairs are available for your use. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker and Kuerig. Because the Papakea Resort being directly ocean front, beach access is sometimes not available, due to the changing season and tides. However, there are beach parks and large beaches up and down the coast just a short walk or drive. This is a recently purchased property so we apologize for not having many reviews, however you my look us up on one of our other properties, VRBO 173345 to check out some reviews and how well we treat our guests!

Very nice condo. Very clean. Only thing that I would add is a hand held size magnifying mirror in one of the bath rooms. The walls are rather thin so we could hear the neighbors on either side and above us. Not really a problem as everyone was well behaved.

We had four of us 2 teenagers plus 2 adults. The condo was as it was described and the property was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. Condo has nice amenities and very comfortable. Kitchen had all appliances we needed. The master bed is not super soft but comfortable. We had issue with queen sofa pull out and Brent was great about responding quickly and offering to fix. The location is good since its in the middle of west side. Easy to get to places. The resort pools nice and great spot to watch sunsets. They also had some activities each day. There’s a beach right next to resort can walk too as the water was up to the seawall at our resort. Overall great time!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea. The condo was clean, and had more kitchen supplies than other condos my relatives were staying in at Papakea. Being on the ground floor was very convenient, especially with little kids. The grounds of Papakea are beautiful, and the vast majority of the people staying there were very friendly. There’s a good number of restaurants in close proximity to the resort, as well as an ABC store that has most everything a person a will need. For others staying here, I highly recommend Papi’s Ohana (best cinnamon rolls you’ll have, be prepared to wait in line), Okazuya, and Miss Arepa. All are within walking distance. We also walked to several other beaches for play time. Being able to walk rather than drive was a huge plus. Brent was very accommodating and easy to deal with. We loved our stay and hope to come back and stay in this condo again.

We’ve stayed at Papakea before, but this was our first time in this particular unit and it absolutely lived up to expectations. There was plenty of space for our family of six, and everything we needed was easy to find and well organized.One of our favorite features was the ground-floor location. Our kids loved being able to play right outside, and the sliding doors made it easy for us to keep an eye on them while still giving them some independence. It really made the experience more relaxing for everyone.The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Check-in and check-out were both seamless, making the whole process stress-free.The owner was also fantastic quick to respond and very accommodating when we reached out about extending our stay. That level of communication made a big difference.We would highly recommend this unit and will definitely keep it in mind for future trips back to Maui.

Great place for families on vacation!

This unit has had great updates in terms of temp control in each room - nice layout and was good for couples sharing because of separation of rooms. Comfortable living area, great location. We had a minor issue with a safe in one of the bedrooms and the issue was dealt with very quickly and easily. The host was quick to respond to everything. The Location was awesome so close to the times market and food trucks and other restaurants, quick drive to Lahaina. Couldn’t ask for a better view. Excellent for family vacationing. Would happily stay here again!

Great place to stay

What a great rental! The condo had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The property owner is very responsive and pleasant to work with. The ground floor location at the koi pond was perfect and the grounds are very well maintained. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Feel in love with Maui in the 90s and haven't wanted to ever leave yet. We love golf, the ocean, incredible food, reading and doing nothing. I don't think we could've picked a better spot.
