La Maison Carondelet is a beautifully restored mid 1800’s era home located in the historic Garden District of New Orleans. Built in the Greek revival style popular in New Orleans during that era, our fully furnished guest house has three bedrooms (plus a living room which easily converts to a fourth bedroom,) two and a half baths, a large gourmet kitchen, a front porch, front and side balconies, washer and dryer, alarm system, one off-street parking spot and a spacious landscaped patio with a hot tub.

Centrally located and just one block off St. Charles Avenue and the streetcar line, there is no better way to enjoy New Orleans than in the privacy and comfort of La Maison Carondelet.

La Maison Carondelet is available year round and can accommodate lodging for groups of up to ten people or events of up to 50 people. We can also provide a wide range of reasonably priced concierge and event planning services including: catering, cleaning and/or laundry service, pre-stocking the house with items of your choice, grocery service, ticket service, reservations, directions and advice to help make your stay in New Orleans as fulfilling as possible.

Hope to Stay There Every Time We Are in New Orleans!

  • 5 of 5

Loved, loved, loved this home! My husband and I and three friends stayed there over a 5-day weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was perfect. Such a great location -- close enough to the Quarter that you can spend time there and then return home to a relaxing quiet and comfort. Wonderfully equipped kitchen, which my husband/professional chef utilized on a number of occasions. Lovely large, private courtyard. The bed in the master bedroom is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I hope that whenever we are in New Orleans, we are able to stay here.

Amazing house and beautiful location.

  • 5 of 5

The home had a lot of character and charm. It was well maintained and well equipped with everything we needed. The home was walking distance to the street car, which we were easily able to explore the city by.

Linda and Conrad were amazing hosts, were easy to contact and quick to respond.

Grand residence to stay in New Orleans

  • 5 of 5

College friends and I celebrated our collective 50th birthdays with a weekend in New Orleans. Conrad and Linda were terrific hosts. The house is beautifully restored and it is nice to have the experience of staying in an historic residence in such an historic town. The kitchen was beautiful, although we never used it because there are so many restaurant options in New Orleans. The location is great. We were around the corner from the Pontchatrain hotel, with its cute breakfast spot and the rooftop bar (appropriately named Hot Tin Roof). It was a quick and inexpensive Uber ride to anywhere in New Orleans and nice to return to a calm, quiet neighborhood after an evening out. I highly recommend staying here.
